She looks “shadowy”.

Don't worry about Babs. She got her St John of Jerusalem uniform out and went off to a quiz show in Spain to make yet more money. She was asked about her choice at the airport on her way to quiz show; she tried to be polite about her money-obsession but in the end blurted out at the reporter, "Look dear, either you're in show business or you're not." I saw it all o'telly, before Lorra Lorra Cilla.

I always attempted to gently remind Barbara: front to back, dear.
Obviously, from the photogravure shown here, she confused my advice and did the opposite that day.

Dame Barbara declared the Wales' marriage at an end when she heard that Di wouldn't blow Chas. No oral sex.

Well, after 39.5 years we can all try to move on.

She was the inspiration for La Cage aux Folles.

Didn't Di used to read Cartland's embarrassing books?

At least she didn't marry her step-grandmother.

Her biggest mistake was inviting Charles to the wedding.

Is that Mrs Slocombe?

Hmmmm Diana may have seen her future self (assuming she'd lived so long) in the crazy old hag and it terrified her. Lots of slightly mad people are damn well aware of their madness and hate it when they see it reflected in a parody version of who they just might become.

According to an obituary published in The Daily Telegraph, Cartland reportedly broke off her first engagement, to a Guards officer, when she learned about sexual intercourse and recoiled.

That might explain why all of her heroines were timid virgins R15.

Well, she loathed her (truly loathsome) stepmother, so what do you expect?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 8, 2021 8:15 PM |
And then they fucked.

Princess Diana despised her stepmother, Raine Spencer. Diana called her “Acid Raine.” That’s hilariously bitchy.

R20 - wow, never heard that one before!
by Anonymous | reply 21 | March 8, 2021 8:29 PM |
Diana once said that Cartland's face looked like "two black crows flying into the white Cliffs of Dover".

If she had invited BC to her wedding she would have shown a sense of humor and a mature ability to be tolerant of other people's quirkiness.
Diana at 20 had neither.

How else would one marry Alan Jay Lerner?

They did reconcile and got on quite well just before Diana died, though, which spoils things. There is no point being a princess without a wicked stepmother.

The more you hear about Diana the less you like her. The shy young schoolteacher grew-up to be a paranoid, vengeful, nutty narcissist.

Would you invite this drag queen to your wedding?

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
