I heard he was very difficult to work with, despite his talent. Did that do him in?
WHET Greg Kinnear?
by Anonymous | reply 66 | December 19, 2020 5:40 AM |
seems to work pretty regularly just not always in high profile stuff
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 6, 2020 5:12 AM |
I enjoyed and related to his gay character on AGAiG. Successful, but nervous. Story of my life.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 6, 2020 5:16 AM |
He is incredibly hard to work with. He got upset and threw a fried egg sandwich at my head once. And I’m vegan!
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 6, 2020 5:24 AM |
He doesn’t look hard to work with
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 6, 2020 5:26 AM |
[quote] He is incredibly hard
Let's see it.

I love fried egg sandwiches. With just a touch of hot sauce. Not too much, Sal. I want to be able to taste the cheese.

He left the stress of Hollywood and is now a master landscaper. Checkout his latest master “piece”.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 6, 2020 8:31 AM |
Die in a fucking holocaust of grease fires, R8.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 6, 2020 8:41 AM |
Really r8, you find a pic of bushy Demi Moore and have to post it on every thread!
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 6, 2020 8:50 AM |
I watched As Good as Its Gets with my mom as a closet gayling. The scene in the car where Simon confessed drawing his mother naked and got beaten by his dad made me so uncomfortable.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 6, 2020 10:45 AM |
R11: I saw that movie when it came out and walked out of the theater with a crush on him, but Matthew Shepard's murder made it hard for me to watch that movie again.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 6, 2020 10:46 AM |
He was funny playing himself on "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt".
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 6, 2020 2:04 PM |
He was announced to take over the lead in [italic]To Kill a Mockingbird[/italic] on Broadway in April, but then COVID shut everything down. Who knows if the show will start up again and who will be in it.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 6, 2020 2:19 PM |
R6, what's that from? I wish the couch wasn't blocking the rest of the view. It looks like he's got a nice, supple ass. Quite a nice surprise.
I've always liked him and thought he was really cute in a relaxed, unassuming way. Very boy next door.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 6, 2020 5:17 PM |
He was quite good in the William Holden role in the remake of "Sabrina", which got him quite a bit more work.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 6, 2020 5:20 PM |
He’s now a strict Christian and is making those Christian movies like God is Dead with the likes of Kevin Sorbo and Kirk Cameron.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 6, 2020 7:23 PM |
R17: Those movies are why Judaism and homosexuality should both be mandatory.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 6, 2020 8:12 PM |
Sabrina should have ended up with Kinnear’s character in the Sabrina remake, much like Audrey’s version should have ended up with Holden.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 6, 2020 8:30 PM |
R 19, I’d still sing “happy birthday Mr. president“ to him while dressed as Marilyn Monroe if that’s what it takes to get him to fuck me.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 6, 2020 8:31 PM |
I don't know if Kinnear is a born again or "strict" Christian, but he and Kelly Reilly (Vince Vaughn's wife in S2 True Detective) were really good in "Heaven is for Real" based on real-life child who had a near-death experience after a car accident. Overall, the movie was quite good, and I did not find the Christian thing that heavy handed except no one believed the kid had these experiences!! That was infuriating to me. Who are they to say? And plus, being "Christian" wouldn't you be more open to that? I dunno...being raised Catholic and now spiritual but not religious, it grosses me out that people would dismiss this boy's experiences. Kids are not liars about stuff like this. Did you steal the candy? Yes - they sometimes lie. Do they make up a huge coma experience? Not so much.

by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 6, 2020 9:58 PM |
on imdb it lists him as a person who played Joe Biden. I can't find in what though. ?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 7, 2020 3:11 AM |
R25, It was a made for cable (HBO, I think?) movie called "Confirmation," from 2016. It's about Anita Hill and the Clarence Thomas confirmation.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | December 8, 2020 12:42 AM |
Oh, gee, PR person. Could it be that he's starring in The Stand premiering tonight? Hmmmmm?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 17, 2020 3:15 PM |

You expect a child raised in a religious home to [italic]not[/italic] make shit like this up?
As Aristotle said, "Give me a child until he is 7 and I will show you the man"
by Anonymous | reply 28 | December 17, 2020 3:22 PM |
And they're subsequent threads on DL. You may be onto something R27!
by Anonymous | reply 29 | December 17, 2020 3:23 PM |
He's as gay as a George Cukor party. How it's been kept a secret this long is beyond me. If you need confirmation, just ask Katie Couric. I'd explain, but it would take too long.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 17, 2020 3:24 PM |
It’s a snow day, R30, I got all day.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | December 17, 2020 4:32 PM |
I remember when he was on a VH1 program years ago, like TALK SOUP or something.
I concur with R2, R6, and R12.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | December 17, 2020 4:37 PM |
I had such a crush on him when he did Talk Soup. Handsome and funny/goofy. I've got no defense against that.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | December 17, 2020 5:21 PM |
I used to love Talk Soup. Watched it every day, even with the later Skunk Boy guy.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | December 17, 2020 7:26 PM |
He was on The View yesterday, and I thought he was just as handsome and charming as he was when I was a kid (mid-90s). His last hit was probably Little Miss Sunshine, although he's worked steadily since then.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | December 17, 2020 7:32 PM |
[quote]Oh, gee, PR person. Could it be that he's starring in The Stand premiering tonight? Hmmmmm?
Oh, gee, R27. Or maybe the OP saw a trailer for The Stand, saw Kinnear in it (didn't realize he was) and was reminded of how much they liked him back in the day. I mean, a gay guy being interested in a good looking guy? That's unheard of!
Not everyone posting here is from Sunshine Sachs, dear. Calm your tits.

by Anonymous | reply 37 | December 17, 2020 7:38 PM |
He could play Hunter Biden now.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | December 17, 2020 7:38 PM |
He can fuck my face!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | December 17, 2020 7:48 PM |
Cannot stand the sight of him.. no talent except a smirk...which also worked for Bruce Willis, another creature I cannot stand.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | December 17, 2020 7:54 PM |
Sad to hear:
1. He’s difficult to work with
2. Religious
I’ve always liked him . He plays the good guy mostly. Loved him in Little Miss Sunshine. Good actor, handsome guy.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | December 17, 2020 7:55 PM |
never heard of him before this post
by Anonymous | reply 42 | December 17, 2020 7:58 PM |
Oh it’s so sad because someone has faith in god, r41. Go jump in the toilet!
by Anonymous | reply 43 | December 17, 2020 7:58 PM |
R41 Is he actually religious (like billions of other people in the world) or has he just done one or two Christian movies because they're all that are offered to him nowadays? Queen Latifah did a Christian movie. Does that mean she's going to start stringing gay kids up on fences around the country?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | December 17, 2020 8:12 PM |
R43, faith in God has nothing to do with being religious. It really, really does not.
R44 I don't know I was just going off R22.
Both of you seem ready to nail me to a cross (get the religious reference??)
by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 17, 2020 8:23 PM |
R45 Get down off the cross, honey. Someone else needs the wood.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 17, 2020 8:26 PM |
R46 I love that saying. But you probably lisped when you typed it.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 17, 2020 8:28 PM |
R22, that story actually was fake. The parents eventually had a messy divorce and it came out the dad was pushing the whole thing and the kid went along with it and did what his dad wanted him to, but he didn't enjoy it and it tore up their family.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 17, 2020 8:39 PM |
R36 = social media intern deflecting
Get better tactics. Your WHET is getting old.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 17, 2020 10:17 PM |
Back in the day (Talk Soup), his was the penis I wanted to see most. Unbearably sexy.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | December 17, 2020 11:13 PM |
Get in line, R50.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | December 17, 2020 11:31 PM |
R49 I'm not the OP, genius. Just a passersby sick and tired of idiots like you shrieking that every thread on here is courtesy of a PR shill just because there's nobody and nothing that you like. Miserable old twat.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | December 17, 2020 11:32 PM |
He's in that new miniseries version of "The Stand." I've heard it's crummy.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 17, 2020 11:32 PM |
Either way, Stephen King buys another yacht with the royalties.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 17, 2020 11:39 PM |
GK is the type of midwestern boy (born in Indiana but moved around the world with his diplomat father and family) that used to drive me to distraction. So handsome in a white bread way, but who cares? He has a brother who works for Billy Graham organization so he may have deep convictions.
University of Arizona at Tucson so he could have been the biggest jerk in the world as that is frat boy and dumb jock heaven. Didn't one of its students go on the Daily Show saying that UA was, like, the Harvard of universities?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | December 18, 2020 12:23 AM |

by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 18, 2020 12:25 AM |

R56 is off her meds again. BLOCKED!
by Anonymous | reply 58 | December 18, 2020 12:26 AM |
I forgot to add he was fine as fuck back in the day. Have not seen much of him lately, though.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | December 18, 2020 12:26 AM |
I always thought he was an odd choice to play uber-perv Bob Crane.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | December 18, 2020 12:49 AM |
Did anyone see "Flash of Genius"? It sounded like an interesting movie ... he played a guy who claimed he invented the intermittent windshield wiper and was ripped off.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | December 18, 2020 12:51 AM |
R58 is a stupid fucking moron who thinks I give a rats ass if it blocks me or not.
Again, fuck off shit for brains. Do the gene pool a favor and get Covid and fucking die.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 18, 2020 5:28 AM |
Oh, and publicists are useless r58.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | December 18, 2020 5:46 AM |
R61 Yes. If you liked the Michael Keaton movie The Founder, you'll probably like Flash of Genius. Both sound boring as hell but are actually quite interesting. Not as dry as the loglines would suggest.
