I'll see if I can find it again, but some webpage archived an old r/gendercritical thread where some anti-trans British lady said they all posted here, LSA and L-Chat on purpose and were looking for more similar boards to post at.

There's a poster at KiwiFarms named "Barabbas" who is a DLer who says Datalounge is "sympathetic" to the anti-trans ladies, and if you follow his posts you'll see he and others talk about trolling a bunch of trans resource pages and posting fake AITA Reddit posts to sneak anti-trans viewpoints into "mainstream" Reddit articles.

Their whole lives are wrapped up in spamming (or I guess more accurately "firehosing") as many forums as they can. It's creepy.

r25, a year or so ago someone in one of the troll threads pointed out that things being said in the thread by anti-trans trolls were also being linked to on Twitter, and I saw that Lysistrata lady was one of them doing the linking. I did a search and found her tweeting about Datalounge. Hours or maybe days later, don't remember, the Twitter ladies who had linked to DL had deleted their tweets, so clearly they were reading us here. Something about what she said made me think she didn't just lurk, but it's been a year, I don't remember specifics.

I remember an AITA which was about a woman refusing to allow her mother to give her brother a wedding dress to put on a drag show or something.

I can't find it. But it was very quickly jumped on by r/gc who were virulently homophobic as per usual. It seemed a little off. Does anyone else remember?

That HeyItsOrangetina deleted so recently that some of their posts are still up. Clearly someone pretending to be a gay man who transitioned to MtF, then trolled gay boards on Reddit. Here's one example:

R54, I actually think that's a different troll. It's possible it's the guy who used to start trolling the second he saw the word "Michfest" in any context. You could set your watch to it: someone would mention Michfest and within a few hours he'd show up and start screaming about radfem lesbians taking over DL. He must have had some kind of Google alert. He'd spam and post thread after thread and have a full blown meltdown. After a while some people started to realize there was a whole cause-and-effect thing going on, and once they pointed it out, he stopped showing up.

The guy you're talking about at first seemed like he was just trolling the rightwing anti-transers, and saying offensive things to piss them off because THEY were being homophobic. Yeah, a lot of the people who were being linked to in this thread were locking down and deleting as the thread was active. They clearly read here and probably post as well.

A decent trick to use when someone locks down on Twitter is to type

to:@Lysistrata2018

(or whatever the username is) into the search bar, then click "Latest" at the top. You'll see what people have said to them recently, which gives you an idea of what they're talking about.

In this case, you can see Lysistrata's account is active only occasionally. People only replied to her in February, then nothing until June and July, then nothing until December. That probably means she's someone's sockpuppet.

I mentioned this over a year ago. There are two core troll groups that sit on this site. One is anti trans White women. This was discovered because they posted that they were posting on DL on mumsnet in a forum. Mumsnet is monitored by hatewatch groups. One of the hatewatch groups followed the comments and linked it back to DL. The other core group are trolls allegedly employed by uk tabloids. This group is vicious and responsible for a vast portion of the links to that tabloid we can't link.
