Were there Canadians there? Why are they allowed to compete in American Music Awards, don’t they have their own awards up there, the Juno or something? Taking away awards from hard working Americans shouldn’t be allowed.

The AMAs are worthless anyway. Plus Taylor Swift is one of the biggest frauds out there, along with Bieber and Beyonce.

Taylor Swift is perhaps the most overrated person on earth. Her music sounds like the sonic equivalent of a pumpkins spice latte. She is white privilege personified, but no one calls her out for being a mediocre white woman.

R2 Beyonce actually has some talent, and she's 10 times the performer that Taylor Swift is. Taylor's Nazi Barbie schtick wouldn't have been possible without her millionaire banker daddy. Yet she has the gall to play the victim and pretend she's some oppressed artist.

Now she has a punchable face: smug, fake and actually believes her hype.

Lacks real warmth, cunningly intelligent, artificial.

I don’t know how. Never even heard 1 song from Swift in 2020 or knew she had an album out. Very undeserved.

God help me, but I liked Folklore. A little "young" lyrically for someone pushing thirty, but the slightly dysthymic mood worked for me. That said, she really shouldn't be setting any award records. Sales records? Sure.

TV Ratings: American Music Awards Fall to Record Lows

Last night’s awards show, which was hosted by “Empire” star Taraji P. Henson and saw Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Dan + Shay emerge as the big winners, averaged a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49 and around 4 million total viewers.

That represents a 40% rating decline and similar loss in audience.

But, who was the top in this socially distant duet?

She put out a surprise record overnight that no one was expecting. Not a Swift fan, but everyone was talking about this record and how "low-key" and introspective it is (compared to her other shit). She was bound to sweep whatever she got nominated for.

She's so contrived. How many albums were created during Covid? Just another opportunity for her to "change her image" during these dark times.
