Dataloungers in the UK - tell me all about Colin the Caterpillar cakes from Marks and Spencer

I just found out about them yesterday. It's like a swiss cake roll covered in chocolate that you have at children's parties? Is there something similar in the US?

Fudgy the Whale is a similar tradition in the US.

r1 Fudgy is an ice cream cake ... Colin appears to be just a regular cake.

I used to be a packer for Fudgy.

Growing up, we had Cookiepuss and the birthday boy or girl got the ice cream cone nose. With Colin, they get the chocolate face.
