He's one of those people who is genetically perfect but he isn't sexy because he lacks certain quirks. He's like a fine painting that you can appreciate the beauty but also seems manufactured and vapid like a Barbie doll. His beauty is probably why because he never got a chance to develop an interesting personality or be funny. He never seems to be angry or annoyed, always smiling which seems like he represses his emotions just like Jimmy Fallon. Yes I know I'm overthinking it. Anyway, he's cute.

He’s a very handsome man but not much of an actor. He never shies away from showing his butt and has done so more than most actors in his age group.

Actually this brings up an interesting point, how did he manage to avoid showing his butt in Magic Mike 2? I thought that was very odd, clearly he has no problem shoving it at cameras.

He seems to have a good career and is happily married with children. He's realistic that he'll never be a leading man in big movies and is satisfied doing supporting roles. He doesn't distance himself from gay-themed material either. And honestly having a USA Network drama like White Collar run for years is pretty good deal and should keep his pockets filled. Maybe they'll bring it back for more seasons since that seems to be trend.

R26: He’s an ok actor. He shows his butt to distract from that.

His beauty does not distract from his acting skill. It's a bonus. Helpfully. He's a lightweight actor but he was good in the very creepy 3rd season of The Sinner. I disliked the season and his character and the writing, but he was good at what they gave him, which was to play a TRUE creep.

R28: Unfortunately, being openly gay and too perfect looking have prevented his leading man career in movies. Having said that, his career has actually been pretty good. He’s had the chance to play some leading man roles on tv(White Collar and The Sinner).

He plays a narcissist and killer in The Sinner. His looks are a part of the characters' operations in life. I won't spoil it. Stop reading if you might go watch it.

In the end his looks have a way of drawing you in to make a despicable characters' fitting closure seem tragic when it isn't at all. His face becomes a sort of glorious young man's face and the character and Bomer are not young. But this does happen at the end sometimes. It's like a "grace note".

He gets more press on DL than anywhere else.

R27: Apparently showing his butt has been a requirement in all of his contracts.

Darren Criss should take a page from Bomer's book. If he shows his butt all the time in Murphy productions, he'll work pretty consistently.
