Why do asians boil cats and dogs alive?

I missed the time when we can still eat dog in Taiwan.

Not cats, kittens. Taste better.

Just to see their facial expressions.

When will puppies and cats be available in restaurants here. If we can be convinced to eat raw fish, why not pet cuisine? It just had to be branded and marketed right.

From the makers of Coronavirus™.

It's also not unheard of for mainland Chinese to burn dogs alive. I would assume that they believe in some bonkers nonsense about that method of cooking making the meat taste better, but I've heard that stressed animals result in bad-tasting meat, which is why quick and relatively painless methods of slaughter are sensible, in addition to being more humane.

R5 Yeah I wouldn't eat a cat or dog I didn't know. Maybe BYOP bring your own pet dining would be a good business venture. People will buy anything, sold right.

These people are sick. And not because they eat dog, but because they seem to relish torturing the animals

Coyotes kill a lot of cars. Not all cats are going to Asian restaurants.

If only OP's mom had had better aim with the coat hanger in her uterus...

I have studied asians extensively. They simply don't know right from wrong. It's not complicated. They are a comical people who only thrive when supervised by whites. Japan is a great example of what asians are capable of under white admin istration.

I've been to wet markets in China. I wish I hadn't gone.

R13 What in wet market could possibly horrify you? Did you go to those gamey food?

r14 go to the videos on Youtube. I saw all that and more. Yes, puppies and kittens. It is beyond barbaric. I remember thinking if somebody dropped a nuke on China I wouldn't be too upset.

I wouldn't watch a video of an animal being tortured for ANY amount of money. I'm serious. I don't want to wish anything bad on anyone but people who hurt animals should reap what they sow.

I lived in China for about a year, and their treatment of animals is generally abhorrent.
That said, it's not like America is all that much better. We just slaughter our animals on factory farms and run puppy mills outside of public view.
I think the difference is that mistreatment of animals is taboo in the US, but not in China, hence our compulsion to hide it.
