I predict that the rift between gay/bi people who assimilate/integrate into mainstream society and follow traditional societal norms and the whole queer/genderqueer/trans faction is going to widen. I expect that there will be more push-back against the latter group, especially against trans activism, non-binaries, and other groups strongly based on identity politics and grievances (as opposed more classical liberation movements). I also suspect that the push-back will result in some of the assimilated/integrated gay/bi people growing more conservative with time.
