What's your go-to chocolate?

I love peanut M&Ms

I'm a simple guy. For me, Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate does the trick. Must be at room temperature.

For a special occasion, Teuscher's Champagne Truffles. The best!

Lindt 70% cocoa dark chocolate. The only chocolate in the world worth eating. It's a fact.

by Anonymousreply 5November 10, 2020 7:32 PM

Lindt.

See's. Any box will do.

Bendick's Bittermints. Inedible peppermint patty, enrobed with inedible dark chocolate, combine to make something so delicious that you cheerfully look forward to diabetes.

Mini Snicker Bars, So. Damn. Good.

by Anonymousreply 9November 10, 2020 7:35 PM

Dark Chocolate KitKats are pretty damn good.

Milky Way or chocolate ice cream. Love fudge but hate the calories (gay living in LA and have to represent....)

Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream

by Anonymousreply 13November 10, 2020 7:52 PM

Oreos dunked in cold milk until just about (but not quite,) liquified. Sublime.

[italic]Good[/italic] flourless chocolate cake. Michael's of Santa Monica is the recipe I use, but I prefer Maida Heatter's ganache to Michael's. I use Guittard brand semisweet to make it. I serve it with whipped cream and sometimes raspberry coulis.

I liked Lindt during the 1980s, but somehow it got waxy in texture over the years. It's just not as good. I don't eat chocolate as candy anymore, though. It gives me a headache (migraine?)

Trader Joe’s Belgium dark chocolate bars. Also, TJ’s almonds in dark chocolate with sea salt and turbinado sugar.

Dove milk chocolate. Just typing that makes me crave them.

Cadbury Dairy Milk

Lindt dark with coconut.

See's are pretty good if I'm in need of a fix. Cadbury caramello is also good.

If I'm cooking? Moosewood Restaurant brownie recipe, served warm with ice cream. Mmmmm.... I should go make some right now.
