He's talented and has pleasant looks. Is it because there just isn't much demand for openly gay leading men (who sing), or is he not nice to work with? He seems very nice.
Denis O'Hare is more of a supporting character actor and he seems to work constantly. Hmmm...?

Could be he just doesnt want to act any more, like the guy that played the kid in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Decided to become a vet instead. Cant say I blame him either, fame's a crock of shit for most people
Maybe Gets has found some other fulfilling career out of the public eye we all dont know nothin about

Malcolm Gets invested his money wisely from Caroline In the City, so he doesn't have to worry about taking any job, and prefers to work mostly in regional and NY theatre

I have seen Gets do musical theatre (eg, ENCORES) in NYC a couple of times. He's a pro--he can sing, move, and act. Very talented.
I'm also one of the two dozen people who saw and actually liked ADAM & STEVE. A very sweet small movie.
And he (and hottie) Eric Lutes were pretty much the only bright spots in the otherwise inexplicable CAROLINE IN THE CITY. Holy mackerel was that bad.

I'm watching Caroline in the City on CBS All Access, and he is gorgeous on the show. The show is pretty bad, but it's hitting some good 90s nostalgia notes for me.
