The dealerships were started by their father, so it's OLD money. His brother Tony pretty much runs the dealerships these days, and is always posting pics from fabulous destination locales and high-end restaurants, etc. I figured Tony was probably a Trumper too because no matter where he is, whether it is dining out or getting a haircut, he NEVER wears a mask and never even mentions anything political on his page.

Piazza, Nicklaus and the rest of these rich guys are the people Trump really like and care about, and he wants them to like him. He doesn’t give two shits about the poor, regular deplorable folk in those crowds risking COVID just to hear him blather on about nothing.

I thought Nicklaus is dead. He's probably unhappy that golf is dying and worries that he'll have fewer courses to "design". So much of the Right is based on preserving old sources of income that are rapidly becoming obsolete.
