I always liked Holly and often wondered why she was not more consistently prominent. Yeah, she had some good stories along the way, but seemed under utilized at many other times.

If Ellen Wheeler had been smart she would have made Holly the new Bert Bauer. I always thought it would have made sense to center things around the Marlers. Make Holly the matriarch. Give Blake and Ross really story. And make Clarissa and the twins romantic leads. So much rich history. But of course she settled for the white trash Coopers.

Clarissa Marler would have been a great new era Vanessa....spoiled brat.

Maureen should have an Emmy on her mantel.

I think she came back for a handful of episodes once Blake's true identity was revealed in late 1988 and Pam Long saw what she brought to the screen and kept her around.

Michelle stared at Holly once and Holly said what? Michelle said: "You act like everything's funny but you never laugh."

Peter Simon said in The Locher Room interview that he was concerned that there was no path of redemption for Ed after Maureen’s death. JFP wasn’t interested. Thank you R7 for posting that Ed/Holly/Ross/Blake scene, it’s one of my all-time GL favorites. Holly’s monologue is so beautifully written and it’s finally the moment when Ross and Blake realize how much they hurt her. And even now, almost 28 years later I had tears in my eyes at the end of clip, with Ed alone in the kitchen, saying “It’s all done” and the long, dramatic pan of the empty room. Mary!

Just watched the Beth/ Lujack reunion on Locher Room. That Almost Paradise sequence was touching. They had chemistry in spades.

Homely Locher never varies his questions. They’re all the same.

He asks the same questions even if it's repeat people. He told two GL actors who had already appeared to just say their first day stuff again even though we'd heard it two months before. It's bonkers.

The whole Phillip/Harley thing was a mess; Phillip busted Beth for trying to get AC to come back to town. She should have called Alan Michael. especially if they could have gotten Carl back.

The other annoying Locher question is using the word ‘quarantine’. No one is quarantining except for those who may have been exposed, they may quarantine for 2 weeks but 99.9999999999999% of people have not ever quarantined during this pandemic.

Harley had suprisingly good chemistry with Josh. ZERO chemistry with Philip.

I thought Harley and Phillip had chemistry but it should have remained a friendship chemistry.

Queen locher knows the answer would be that it was hard seeing these shows die a slow death while you made us pretend all was well.

With the Beverlee tribute, Alan can ask a variation of his favorite question.

He can ask, "Do you remember the first time you met Beverlee?"

I'll be especially curious to hear what Scott McKinsey has to say about his mother.

The rest of them -- Grant, Vince, Mark Derwin and Jay Hammer -- have all briefly mentioned Bevelee during their sessions, so we have at least some idea of what they're going to say.

He was interesting as a foil for Alex, but to be honest, I never really liked or understood his pairing with Holly, and thought the whole Meg storyline was, while a good story to tell, not suited to tell *with Holly and Fletcher.*
