WHET Holly Lindsey?

Is she back in Switzerland?

Or did she come back to Springfield? I could see her at a NPR station.

so good

I always liked Holly and often wondered why she was not more consistently prominent. Yeah, she had some good stories along the way, but seemed under utilized at many other times.

by Anonymousreply 2October 31, 2020 3:31 PM

Holly liked licking the puss.......well at least Mo Garrett did/does.

by Anonymousreply 3October 31, 2020 3:44 PM

You'll have to pardon R3. She hasn't had her electroshock treatments yet today.

ANYWAY......

It would have been something to have Holly come out on the show.

by Anonymousreply 4October 31, 2020 3:57 PM

If Ellen Wheeler had been smart she would have made Holly the new Bert Bauer. I always thought it would have made sense to center things around the Marlers. Make Holly the matriarch. Give Blake and Ross really story. And make Clarissa and the twins romantic leads. So much rich history. But of course she settled for the white trash Coopers.

by Anonymousreply 5October 31, 2020 3:57 PM

Clarissa Marler would have been a great new era Vanessa....spoiled brat.

by Anonymousreply 6October 31, 2020 4:14 PM

Maureen should have an Emmy on her mantel.

She always delivered.

I think she came back for a handful of episodes once Blake's true identity was revealed in late 1988 and Pam Long saw what she brought to the screen and kept her around.

Michelle stared at Holly once and Holly said what? Michelle said: "You act like everything's funny but you never laugh."

Here's one of her many great scenes.

Peter Simon said in The Locher Room interview that he was concerned that there was no path of redemption for Ed after Maureen’s death. JFP wasn’t interested. She wanted to explore the Holly Michelle relationship which really never went anywhere. I always loved the Ed Holly scenes. One of my favorites.

R8 watch the last ten minutes of Maureen Emmy Reel - heartbreak scene with Ed telling Holly it's over between them

Maureen Garrett slays every scene she’s in.

by Anonymousreply 11October 31, 2020 8:52 PM

Wow R9 thank you for that. How in the world have I never seen that? That is easily one of the top 5 GL scenes of all times. Peter Simon was incredible and Maureen Garrett was heartbreaking, Thank you so much.

by Anonymousreply 12October 31, 2020 9:01 PM

R12 that is why it was on Maureen Garrett Emmy reel

unfortunately she lost to Susan Haskell rape storyline on One Life To Live

by Anonymousreply 13October 31, 2020 9:03 PM

I wanted to see Holly eat out Olivia’s snatch. Yum yum yum.

by Anonymousreply 14October 31, 2020 11:28 PM

Toddd raaayyped meeee..

Ug, I thought Haskell was whiny and miscast.

I would have given the Emmy that year to Sharon Wyatt; she was amazing that year and had put in a lot of years in daytime at that point.

by Anonymousreply 15November 1, 2020 12:22 AM

Why wasn’t the WHET Beth Raines thread used?

by Anonymousreply 16November 1, 2020 5:28 AM

R16 My deepest apologies....I didn't see it.

Please ignore the mentally ill person obsessed with snatches, feces and friends in the biz.

Anyway.....

by Anonymousreply 22November 2, 2020 1:16 PM

Threads with photos in the first post tend to draw more attention...

by Anonymousreply 23November 2, 2020 1:24 PM

Vee is working on getting Gl back on CBS. He’s in the biz, you know.

by Anonymousreply 24November 2, 2020 2:21 PM

Vee’s custodian closet will be doubling as Company on the new GL.

by Anonymousreply 25November 2, 2020 2:40 PM

You are still not welcome here and never, ever will be. And no one gives a fuck about any of your SON enemies.

by Anonymousreply 26November 2, 2020 3:47 PM

Vee from SON, who is in the biz, refuses to sign off on the renewal of GL and ATWT. It all rests on his signature. Keep writing to him, folks.

by Anonymousreply 27November 2, 2020 6:48 PM

Spicen won't go away. Spicen never goes away. But if you don't respond to him, that's one less* post he can respond to. Think about it.

by Anonymousreply 29November 2, 2020 8:36 PM

r26 is either Vee or Soapsuds, or possibly the one who says TGL. But Vee is in the biz. We know you are not Dylan because you can spell.

A bunch of Search for Tomorrow people in the next Locher Room.

by Anonymousreply 32November 3, 2020 7:53 PM

What have you learned about yourself during quarantine? Have you seen Tom Pelphrey in Ozark?

by Anonymousreply 33November 3, 2020 8:00 PM

I'm surprised Nelson Aspen isn't among them. He has pretty much a whole one man show about Mary Stuart.

by Anonymousreply 34November 3, 2020 9:15 PM

I tried to watch the WSPR Locher Room, but Rick Hearst wouldn't shut the fuck up.

by Anonymousreply 35November 3, 2020 9:16 PM

Rick Hearst needs to not shut up when he's sitting on my face.

by Anonymousreply 36November 3, 2020 9:18 PM

....offer also valid for Carl Tye Evans

by Anonymousreply 37November 3, 2020 9:18 PM

Nelson Aspen is a big ole queen. Mary Stuart was not well liked by SFT people. She could out cunt Sherry Mathis.

by Anonymousreply 38November 3, 2020 9:19 PM

I really miss when there were a few writers and columnists to read in the magazines every week. Nelson used to post on We Love Soaps. I miss that site too.

by Anonymousreply 39November 3, 2020 9:21 PM

You still have MEEEEE !!

It's only My Fat Ass Opinion.

by Anonymousreply 40November 3, 2020 9:51 PM

I should have been more specific and excluded The Devil Waers Lane Bryant.

by Anonymousreply 41November 3, 2020 9:58 PM

R41, who ever came up with that remark about CH wearing Lane Bryant should get an award.

by Anonymousreply 42November 4, 2020 12:55 AM

It was someone on that Jossip thread. All the intrigue about Stephanie and Lynn reminded someone of Devil Wears Prada. It was indeed genius.

by Anonymousreply 43November 4, 2020 1:16 AM

That's right.

All she has now is that column in SOD; but now fans can live tweet the show and fight amongst themselves over whose opinion is right.

Plus, she watches all four shows for that one column that can't pay more than $500 a week.

by Anonymousreply 44November 4, 2020 1:22 AM

She tried to waddle away from soaps but her bar failed after no soapers were going there, so she waddled back to It's Only My Opinion.

by Anonymousreply 45November 4, 2020 1:59 AM

There are so many f-ing useless soap ‘journalists’. Fat Carolyn, steph Sloan, Nellie bottom Branco, queen Fairman etc etc etc.

by Anonymousreply 46November 4, 2020 10:30 AM

Would be interesting if Locher talked to a few of the columnists or writers. Mimi's kinda controversial but there were many others to chat with

by Anonymousreply 47November 4, 2020 2:12 PM

Nellie sux. I only liked him when he wrote about Joshua Morrow’s massive cock and fertility. God I still want him to impregnate me.

by Anonymousreply 48November 4, 2020 6:04 PM

Nellie Branco is a bitter, angry, hateful cunt!

by Anonymousreply 49November 4, 2020 6:22 PM

Nelson Branco also works for a right-wing ANTI-Justin Trudeau newspaper

by Anonymousreply 50November 4, 2020 6:26 PM

Nellie Branco the bitter bottom, eats shit.

by Anonymousreply 51November 4, 2020 6:40 PM

Thank you R7 for posting that Ed/Holly/Ross/Blake scene, it’s one of my all-time GL favorites. Holly’s monologue is so beautifully written and it’s finally the moment when Ross and Blake realize how much they hurt her. And even now, almost 28 years later I had tears in my eyes at the end of clip, with Ed alone in the kitchen, saying “It’s all done” and the long, dramatic pan of the empty room. Mary!

by Anonymousreply 52November 4, 2020 7:16 PM

I like most of the journalists but Nellie Branco is NOT one of them. Backstabbing bitch......many stories to tell.

by Anonymousreply 53November 4, 2020 9:11 PM

R52 I just rewatched and grasped an invisible strand of pearls at that long pan at the end.

MARY!!!

by Anonymousreply 54November 4, 2020 9:16 PM

R47, I'd love to see Alan talk to Diva Von Dish, that screamingly funny Digest columnist plus some of the ones who covered soaps back in the 80s and 90s, but they may all be dead or gone now.

I'm sure Digest reporters and editors have stories about Hinsey.

by Anonymousreply 55November 5, 2020 3:25 AM

Diva von Dish on soaps' worst dressed characters:

"Miss Ellie, you may find the wearing of a housecoat to every family formal function appropriate, but I do not. I saw what you wore to Pam and Bobby's wedding. Did you WANT to be there?"

"Adrienne Johnson, now that you've found your brother you can finally stop dressing like him."

by Anonymousreply 56November 5, 2020 3:43 AM

I never did discover who wrote Diva. It may have been a collective of all the editors.

by Anonymousreply 57November 5, 2020 4:38 AM

You sheeple can hate JFP but god damn she produced great soap opera! Killing Maureen made for great story.

by Anonymousreply 58November 5, 2020 5:51 AM

R57, no, for years it was one guy; he left and then another guy took it over, but he wasn't nearly as good.

by Anonymousreply 59November 5, 2020 3:34 PM

Queen Logan got into a skirmish with Diva von Dish at the Soapys.

by Anonymousreply 60November 5, 2020 3:37 PM

The one that was there in the mid 80s when I started reading SOD was great.

by Anonymousreply 61November 5, 2020 3:55 PM

he was there till the early 90s.

by Anonymousreply 62November 5, 2020 4:51 PM

That was back when Michael Logan used to write for SOD. He had a bit of the fawning thing that Hinsey and Nellie Branco do, but he knew when to stop and not go over the top. And he did some great interview - including Bev's exit interview.

by Anonymousreply 63November 5, 2020 5:19 PM

We should have a "WHET Lynda Hirsch?" thread sometime.

Speaking of old soap journos no one ever hears from any more. She was always on the local afternoon talk show talking soaps, and she kinda looked like the host, too.

They asked all the editors if they remembered their first days.

every girl and gay boy fell in love with him

One could always tell that Grant had a HUGE cock! Jerked off to him so many times.

by Anonymousreply 82November 8, 2020 10:53 PM

[quote] One could always tell that Grant had a HUGE cock! Jerked off to him so many times.

Irony is that Grant talked about being a fat kid, and only losing the weight by weight lifting. But the feeling of being that fat kid, never went away for Grant as he spoke many times of looking in the mirror and seeing that fat kid in the reflection.

He was never comfortable with the shirtless scenes.

by Anonymousreply 83November 8, 2020 11:00 PM

On AMC, when he was still in his prime and had that MANE of hair...Alec scoops up his mother in law Arlene on his wedding night and they have sex; she'd threatened with exposing him if he didn't.

The scene was incredibly erotic and powerful; Arlene is demanding that they have sex but at one point she starts to run away and he grabs her and doesn't let her go.

I thought for sure we'd get Alec with his shirt off, but no cigar.

Still, the scenes were compelling.

by Anonymousreply 84November 9, 2020 3:31 PM

Grant playing Alec in case you're not an All My Children fan.

by Anonymousreply 85November 9, 2020 3:31 PM

by Anonymousreply 88November 9, 2020 4:14 PM

[quote] Grant being a fat kid must be part of why he's still a decent person even after his body became scorchingly beautiful.

That also explains why Grant looked for "inner-beauty" in real-life. He has been married to his wife for decades, meeting in University and staying with her. With his looks and celebrity, he could have played the field. But he stayed faithful to his wife, because he knows looks are very superficial.

by Anonymousreply 89November 9, 2020 4:17 PM

by Anonymousreply 98November 9, 2020 5:58 PM

R89, good points about Grant.

I know everyone talks about the Rick Phillip friendship, but it was the onscreen dynamic with Phillip and Alan-Michael (Carl) that got me. Even when AM couldn't see it, Phillip was trying to be the best big brother (well, most of the time).

was heartened to see that Carl spoke well of Grant, taking him under his wing in the early days.

Would have killed to have had a big brother like that. GL did family better than other soaps, IMHO.

I still miss it.

by Anonymousreply 101November 10, 2020 12:18 AM

by Anonymousreply 103November 10, 2020 3:46 AM

Lady Eyes A Buggin would be the be all end all, if they could convince her.

by Anonymousreply 105November 10, 2020 4:59 AM

Maree Cheatham bailed on the Locher Room thing today. She was on via phone for a minute but said she had to go to an audition.

by Anonymousreply 106November 11, 2020 12:11 AM

Maree probably bailed because of the predictable lead off question. Do you remember your first day?

by Anonymousreply 107November 11, 2020 12:01 PM

She left to get more vodka to make Marcia jelly.

by Anonymousreply 108November 11, 2020 2:17 PM

Maree is such a stupid spelling for Marie.

by Anonymousreply 109November 11, 2020 2:39 PM

Actually Maree was very upset she couldn't participate - the show was delayed for 30 minutes, because Maree was having technical difficulties. By the time they went to air, they could only broadcast audio of Maree - and because it was delayed 30 minutes, Maree had to go because she had an audition

If Maree did not have technical difficulties, she would have stayed for the first part of the show, then left to her audition. But she sent her love to all the "Search" fans and made a point to relay a message from Lisa Peluso (who she still keeps in touch with) that Lisa sends her love to all the "Search" fans .

At which point Maree promised to be at the next "Search" reunion that Alan might put on, and teased the audience by saying that she might get Lisa Peluso to participate!

by Anonymousreply 110November 11, 2020 2:43 PM

Why the fuck is Alan Locher still acting like everyone is quarantined? Marcia McCabe has been all up and down the east coast lately with her shiny new boyfriend and out visiting her lezzy daughter in the west and helped her move back to NYC. She’s hoping Chris sees that she’s moved on. McCabe has not been in any quarantine whatsoever. Stupid question, Alan. We were in lockdown in March and April. It’s November. No one is locked down anymore.

by Anonymousreply 111November 11, 2020 3:35 PM

Do we think Jay Hammer got his ex Pam Long to participate in the Bev session? I watched Jay with Susan Pratt and it seemed like he was on decent terms with Pam.

by Anonymousreply 117November 11, 2020 6:38 PM

[quote]Do we think Jay Hammer got his ex Pam Long to participate in the Bev session? I watched Jay with Susan Pratt and it seemed like he was on decent terms with Pam.

That was my first thought.

I've been wondering why Alan hasn't booked Pam. It's not like she refuses to discuss her GL days. She's done other podcasts over the years. Not a lot. But she has done them.

Maybe it just took Jay giving his stamp of approval - "I fun time doing it. Alan's a great guy." - to convince her. That's how Alan has eventually gotten a lot of other. I mean, Martha Byrne had to talk Liz Hubbard into participating.

by Anonymousreply 118November 11, 2020 6:59 PM

[quote] Just watched the Beth/ Lujack reunion on Locher Room. That Almost Paradise sequence was touching. They had chemistry in spades.

And to think Lujack was only supposed to be a one or two day role!

by Anonymousreply 124November 12, 2020 11:37 AM

Beth/ Lujack were equals. They sparked. Beth/Phillip were great but it was always clear Phillip loved Beth more than she loved him even when she came back controversially in ‘97. Then, she just came across as desperately trying to recapture some semblance of a normal life, not uncommon with former abuse victims.

Beth/ Lujack suffered late in their run with bad stories but damn they had IT.

by Anonymousreply 125November 12, 2020 11:45 AM

Nothing out there about Pam Long on that episode. Not yet, anyway.

Pam was friendly enough on the podcast she was on around the time GL was cancelled, but she wasn't all that forthcoming about details. It was more of a generic "it was a lot of fun" sort of thing. Nancy Curlee was a bit more forthcoming but also seemed peevish that people were still asking her questions about stories from what was then 20 years earlier (now 30).

by Anonymousreply 126November 12, 2020 4:30 PM

Okay, which one of you bitches signed a comment on that Michael Fairman site as "Theresa Lemonte?"

by Anonymousreply 127November 12, 2020 10:27 PM

I can’t believe it! Just started watching the Locher Room Search for Tomorrow thing and literally the first question was, “Maree, do you remember your first day.” Another poster alluded to that but I thought they were kidding!

Would love if, when they introduced one of these guests, they jumped in with, “...and before you ask, I have zero recollection of my first day. Is there any point if me staying on?”

by Anonymousreply 128November 12, 2020 10:37 PM

Homely Locher never varies his questions. They’re all the same.

by Anonymousreply 129November 12, 2020 10:48 PM

He asks the same questions even if it's repeat people. He told two GL actors who had already appeared to just say their first day stuff again even though we'd heard it two months before. It's bonkers.

On one hand it's a free service done very generously to bring people together during a pandemic. But on another hand they've gotten so boring and repetitive there's no point. I think he's so afraid of gossip and dirty laundry getting aired that this is his way of keeping the convo as G-rated as possible.

by Anonymousreply 130November 13, 2020 1:09 AM

Someone needs to write him and say DO NOT ASK ANOTHER PERSON WHAT THEIR FUCKING FIRST DAY WAS ALL ABOUT.

by Anonymousreply 131November 13, 2020 2:36 PM

I actually like the first day question. So sue me.

by Anonymousreply 132November 13, 2020 3:13 PM

R132 It was OK the first hundred times. But when these people are giving their time, and Alan is actually asking them a question he already asked them before, that just shows how bad he is at what he's doing.

Well, consider that Alan was the P&G publicist during the final, god awful ending years of GL and ATWT. He was pimping back then about how wonderful and revolutionary Peapack was. How could he live with himself knowing that he was spewing shit.

by Anonymousreply 134November 13, 2020 3:31 PM

Alan should start asking people about their last day instead. He'd surely get more colorful answers.

by Anonymousreply 135November 13, 2020 3:56 PM

HUGE Phillip and Beth fan here, but had Lujack lived, Beth should have and would have stayed with him. She grew away from Phillip.

The show lost a HUGE opportunity to still have Nick on when Beth came back in 1997.

The whole Phillip/Harley thing was a mess; Phillip busted Beth for trying to get AC to come back to town. She should have called Alan Michael. especially if they could have gotten Carl back.

by Anonymousreply 136November 13, 2020 4:19 PM

The other annoying Locher question is using the word ‘quarantine’. No one is quarantining except for those who may have been exposed, they may quarantine for 2 weeks but 99.9999999999999% of people have not ever quarantined during this pandemic.

by Anonymousreply 137November 13, 2020 5:19 PM

Harley had suprisingly good chemistry with Josh. ZERO chemistry with Philip.

by Anonymousreply 138November 13, 2020 5:21 PM

I thought Harley and Phillip had chemistry but it should have remained a friendship chemistry.

OR they hooked up one night in their sadness and then sent each other off on their way.

Making them a big couple was the mistake.

by Anonymousreply 139November 13, 2020 5:23 PM

who was the writer who put Phillip and Beth on the plane so they could make baby James?

that needed to happen.

by Anonymousreply 140November 13, 2020 5:50 PM

Maybe he should ask them about their LAST DAY too.

In some cases that might be more interesting.

by Anonymousreply 141November 13, 2020 6:42 PM

But, Locher was the publicist when these shows ended and he avoids any negativity while he was at those shows. I agree, last day is a better question then first day, but it won’t happen. Queen locher knows the answer would be that it was hard seeing these shows die a slow death while you made us pretend all was well.

by Anonymousreply 142November 13, 2020 7:34 PM

With the Beverlee tribute, Alan can ask a variation of his favorite question.

He can ask, "Do you remember the first time you met Beverlee?"

by Anonymousreply 143November 14, 2020 5:12 AM

I'll be especially curious to hear what Scott McKinsey has to say about his mother.

The rest of them -- Grant, Vince, Mark Derwin and Jay Hammer -- have all briefly mentioned Bevelee during their sessions, so we have at least some idea of what they're going to say.

by Anonymousreply 144November 14, 2020 5:15 AM

Excuse me R46 but I have my music career!

by Anonymousreply 145November 14, 2020 1:23 PM

[quote]who was the writer who put Phillip and Beth on the plane so they could make baby James?

Brown and Essenstein were the writers doing most of the San Cristobel stories, including Phillip and Beth being in a plane crash atop a snow covered mountain on a tropical island.

by Anonymousreply 146November 15, 2020 1:03 AM

[quote] Someone needs to write him and say DO NOT ASK ANOTHER PERSON WHAT THEIR FUCKING FIRST DAY WAS ALL ABOUT.

I'm on a first name basis with him on twitter, but I won't ask him that

by Anonymousreply 147November 15, 2020 1:04 AM

R146 Baby James was the one good idea they executed.

by Anonymousreply 148November 15, 2020 5:45 AM

Vee should become host of the Locher Room. He’s in the biz, you know.

by Anonymousreply 149November 15, 2020 9:25 AM

I'd want Phillip and his pendulous dong inside of my cooter too, airplane or not.

by Anonymousreply 150November 15, 2020 2:40 PM

the writers had Phillip not giving Beth an inch when she came back in 1997; you'd think Harley had been the great love of his life.

it took a while to get to that payoff with the plane crash; and the parallels of Phillip telling Jim that James wasn't his were parallel to Alan and Justin both being Philllip's dad; alas, poor Jim was killed later; and even more sad Tony Addabbo died in 2016; he left behind a son named -- wait for -- Brandon.

by Anonymousreply 151November 15, 2020 6:01 PM

Tony Addabo had a hot ass but couldn’t live forever.

by Anonymousreply 152November 15, 2020 8:05 PM

I liked Anthony Addabbo on Generations and on Bold & Beautiful. But he was awful on GL

Jim Lemay was absolutely the most boring person on the show EVER. So bland. So yawn-worthy. So not interesting. Friends and I used to joke Jim Lemay was a cure for insomnia.

I was never clear if the show intended Jim Lemay to be so dull or its just how it worked out. Did Addabbo purposely create a dull as dishwater character? Or was Addabbo just incapable of infusing something interesting into his portrayal?

by Anonymousreply 153November 15, 2020 11:52 PM

R153 it was the writing

by Anonymousreply 154November 15, 2020 11:54 PM

Strange the show would purposefully create a super-whitebread character like Jim Lemay. But its what they got.

Brown and Essenstein were such mediocre writers. I'm shocked they lasted four years as HW.

by Anonymousreply 155November 16, 2020 12:19 AM

when a hot actor plays a boring character, he stands out like a sore thumb

the original Jim Lemay and his wife were kind of dullsville but they were supposed to be.

by Anonymousreply 156November 16, 2020 4:53 PM

Reminder: McKinsey themed locher room today

Btw, Pam Long will NOT attend; I got some bad intel; hopefully, he gets her for another Locher room; she could fill a whole hour by herself.

by Anonymousreply 157November 16, 2020 4:54 PM

Pam has the dementia. She won’t be in any locker room.

by Anonymousreply 158November 16, 2020 6:22 PM

I used to wank to Ed as a young gayling. So HOT .

by Anonymousreply 159November 16, 2020 6:33 PM

Mark Derwin also pulled out at the last minute citing a "family emergency"

by Anonymousreply 160November 16, 2020 6:35 PM

Lord, Miss Locher is reciting her book report

by Anonymousreply 161November 16, 2020 7:05 PM

And once again, Vincent is completely monopolizing the conversation

by Anonymousreply 162November 16, 2020 7:07 PM

Vincent just asked Scott if he remembered the first day he met Beverlee.

Alan should call on people; not just ask them to all go at once.

by Anonymousreply 163November 16, 2020 7:10 PM

That was funny when Vincent asked that. Nice subtle shade.

Scott talking about his mom is really the gold star content on this. Lovely

by Anonymousreply 164November 16, 2020 7:26 PM

this is great; I'm a diehard Grant fan, but I see him listening so much here, taking it all in; it's why he's such a great actor.

by Anonymousreply 165November 16, 2020 7:27 PM

R165 we talk about Grant's hotness and his "pendulousness" here but he really is a very, very nice person to boot.

by Anonymousreply 166November 16, 2020 7:47 PM

Okay, I had tears in my eyes but when Grant read that letter I sobbed.

SOBBED.

by Anonymousreply 167November 16, 2020 9:43 PM

So the rumor is officially confirmed - there's a book about Beverlee in the works.

by Anonymousreply 168November 16, 2020 9:53 PM

Wonderful memories of Beverlee today...including stories of her last day on set that only add to her legend.

by Anonymousreply 169November 16, 2020 10:54 PM

What was said about her last day on set?

by Anonymousreply 170November 16, 2020 10:58 PM

There was a line-up of people outside Bev dressing room door to say good-bye - when Jordan Clarke (Billy) reached Bev he asked "Anyone got dibs for your dressing room?"

by Anonymousreply 171November 16, 2020 10:59 PM

A nice mention of Marj at the end, as well.

They did not share the Kim Z story of her complaining about her script: "I could eat a page of this and SHIT OUT a better script than this!"

by Anonymousreply 172November 16, 2020 11:29 PM

R170, you have to watch but Jay Hammer recounting walking with her to Jill's office to say "I'm done" and the poor p.a. (rock and a hard place -- her boss and the queen star of the show) didn't connect them as Jill was on vacation and was only to be disturbed. Bev said well, it's pretty important.

I wonder if the p.a. got reamed?

by Anonymousreply 173November 17, 2020 12:14 AM

It was Bev who said that about popping out a better script.

Wasn't it? I can't find the clip on youtube but it used to be there.

by Anonymousreply 174November 17, 2020 12:37 AM

R174 Yes, I meant Kim shared the story of Bev making that comment.

by Anonymousreply 175November 17, 2020 3:06 AM

thanks R175; the clip of Grant (in an orange shirt, I recall) isn't on Youtube, that I can find.

by Anonymousreply 176November 17, 2020 3:35 AM

Did Ms Locher ask them if they saw Tom Pelphrey in OzarK?

by Anonymousreply 177November 17, 2020 12:50 PM

Ms Locker asked Grant to show his dong.

by Anonymousreply 178November 17, 2020 1:01 PM

And did Jill Lorie Hurst act as the buttinsky she’s been for the past eight months?

by Anonymousreply 179November 17, 2020 8:27 PM

Jill wasn't on this program. And she's hardly a buttinsky. Though on that one show Alan was pressing her to be all buddy buddy with him (very odd).

by Anonymousreply 180November 17, 2020 8:49 PM

Jill was in the chat. I only listened to the first half hour until Jay Hammer became too annoying.

by Anonymousreply 181November 17, 2020 8:58 PM

Sad we didn't get to see Derwin's hot ass. He needs to do one shirtless.

I would SO subscribe to his OnlyFans. LOL

by Anonymousreply 182November 17, 2020 9:03 PM

Jill has nothing else to do. Notice how she’s never written another network soap after killing GL? Chappell did hire her to write Venice but that’s just a few episodes per ‘season’ and that was only for a short time.

by Anonymousreply 183November 17, 2020 9:04 PM

anyway

by Anonymousreply 184November 18, 2020 12:41 AM

You all should really be tuning into THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, television’s number one daytime drama. Kay, as played by me, Scoche Marin, already has the glow of pregnancy. This will develop into an umbrella story for the entire canvas. Every character will be connected to the love child of Nicholas Newman and Katherine Shepherd Reynolds Chancellor Thurston Sterling Murphy.

by Anonymousreply 185November 18, 2020 1:23 AM

anyway

by Anonymousreply 186November 18, 2020 2:27 PM

I could never figure out why Fletcher Reade was on the canvas so long - he never seemed to serve a purpose.

by Anonymousreply 187November 18, 2020 2:32 PM

R187 Agreed. I really thought once Maeve died and his sister left he'd be gone. He was interesting as a foil for Alex, but to be honest, I never really liked or understood his pairing with Holly, and thought the whole Meg storyline was, while a good story to tell, not suited to tell *with Holly and Fletcher.*

by Anonymousreply 188November 18, 2020 3:38 PM

They're saying Holly has been Murieled, so now we're on Beth Raines. Gee that sounds sort of kinky.

Anyway move on over. Beth linked below.
