Formula 1 2020 - 5 F1 Grand Prix to go...

Imola, Turkey, Bahrain, Bahrain outer circuit and Abu Dhabi.

And here's Daniel Ricciardo video for good measure. Anyone else think he may be gay? The only women he has been linked with is his high school girlfriend.

Lovely guy, terrific smile.

by Anonymousreply 1October 29, 2020 3:46 PM

He’s adorable, but probably wishful thinking. Party shirt lol....his naked torso will do just fine for that

by Anonymousreply 2October 29, 2020 3:54 PM

Looks like he has marginal anal hygiene

by Anonymousreply 3October 29, 2020 4:12 PM

They made a real point of pixelating his forearm tats (especially on the right arm)

by Anonymousreply 4October 29, 2020 4:26 PM

His tattoos are tragic. They all look like he got them in Bali when he was 18 and drunk.

The second Bahrain Grand Prix is using the outer circuit for 88 laps. It's going to very draggy.

by Anonymousreply 6October 29, 2020 4:38 PM

This year keeps getting worse for Alex Albon. The drivers will be interviewed alongside with the team principals on Friday. Christian Horner will be very "diplomatic".

by Anonymousreply 7October 29, 2020 4:41 PM

Isn't Danny Ric dating Heidi Berger? He's been linked to several women. I don't get a gay vibe from him at all. Btw, any word on his hot trainer? Straight? Single?

Albon is done at RBR and F1, I'm afraid. Gasly re-signed with AT. Kvyat will probably be replaced by a junior. Max is getting Hulk or Checo as a teammate.

by Anonymousreply 8October 29, 2020 6:05 PM

Hmmm

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 9October 29, 2020 6:10 PM

That shirt is either the gayest thing I've ever seen or something that no self-respecting gay would be caught dead in, I can't decide.

by Anonymousreply 10October 29, 2020 6:10 PM

gorgeous + charming + BDF

by Anonymousreply 11October 29, 2020 6:13 PM

He has beautiful teeth.

by Anonymousreply 12October 29, 2020 6:14 PM

“You’ve got to be MARY!”

by Anonymousreply 13October 29, 2020 6:33 PM

I am glad that after all these weeks of comical own goals from Lewis Hamilton and his engineering team he finally has the 92 win monkey off his back.

Am kind of annoyed by the lack of free practise this Friday at Imola but given the location, I’m just hoping for a safe race.

George Russell’s PT has COVID symptoms so who knows, we may yet see hunky hulk Nico Hülkenberg again before the end of the year. And hopefully but increasingly unlikely next year, as Alfa Romeo have resigned yawnfests Giovanazzi and Kimi.

by Anonymousreply 14October 30, 2020 10:40 AM

He is absolutely adorable! What a smile...wow. Yes, the shirt was tragic, I'm all for a "party shirt" but having Gucci G's all over a shirt is pretty tacky. I'm guessing he is not gay but what does it matter anyway really.

by Anonymousreply 15October 30, 2020 11:50 AM

No free practices today, so let's do a poll on the hottest men at the F1 paddock (other than the drivers). How about:

1. Cyril

2. Will Buxton

3. Michael Italiano.

Yes, I have a type.

by Anonymousreply 16October 30, 2020 12:41 PM

I want Toto inside me.

by Anonymousreply 17October 30, 2020 12:44 PM

The silly season isn't over yet, but the line-up for 2021 is pretty clear.

Mercedes - Lewis & Bottas

Redbull - Max & Checo

AlphaTauri - Gasly & Albon

McLaren - Norris & Ricciardo

Ferrari - Sainz & Leclerc

Alpine - Ocon & Alonso

Williams - Russell & Latifi

Alfa Romeo - Giovinazzi & Kimi

Aston Martin - Vettel & Stroll

Haas - Schumi Jr & Mazepin

That leaves Hulk and Kvyat out of F1. They might keep them as reserve drivers, though. Ilott, Schwartzman and Tsunoda will probably stay on in F2.

Speculating about 2022 onwards is way more interesting. When will Kimi retire? Will Latifi's dad's stake in Mclaren mean anything for Nicholas' future? Will Lewis leave Mercedes?

by Anonymousreply 18October 30, 2020 1:51 PM

Kvyat should have that seat instead of Albon

by Anonymousreply 19October 30, 2020 2:55 PM

Giovinazzi is sneaky hot. I've never seen him with his hair loose before.

by Anonymousreply 20October 31, 2020 1:37 PM

[quote] Helmut Marko: Pierre is driving great through the whole year. He isn‘t at Red Bull next year because Alpha Tauri needs a team leader. Next year a very young driver will be next to him.

[quote]Sky Germany: So Kvyat is out and Tsunoda is in?

[quote]Helmut Marko: "You can see it this way."

Yuki has been one of my favourite drivers in F2 and I definitely don’t feel that Albon deserves an AlphaTauri or any F1 seat, but Alfa Romeo are probably doing the smart thing be retaining the underperforming Gio and Kimi and offloading them when the new regulations come into place in 2022 and letting the best of the Ferrari Drivers Academy boys fight for a position. If Haas sign Mazepin and Mick, they will have two rookies with an unstable car. They would have done better to sign just one of them along with Checo.

If Yuki struggles with the car Red Bull Racing will have run out of juniors. I still think their biggest mistake was letting go of Carlos Sainz.

by Anonymousreply 21October 31, 2020 4:21 PM

He seems like a big sweet easygoing pussyhound.

by Anonymousreply 22October 31, 2020 4:25 PM

Haas probably tried to get Checo. I'd be surprised if they hadn't. But he'd obviously want a Red Bull seat if it was up to him. He's a seasoned driver, he won't crumble next to Max like his predecessors.

Rotten luck for George and Alex. But so happy for Danny Ric!

by Anonymousreply 25November 1, 2020 12:45 PM

This is like the second time George Russell has bitten it when he is about to get into the points.

And as for Alex Albon yelling someone hit me when spinning off (no one hit him) then going onto softs to prevent Hamilton from taking the point for fastest lap (he failed) just sums him up as an F1 racer.

Off to Formula E with you, son.

by Anonymousreply 26November 1, 2020 3:20 PM

Carlos Sainz is not having any of Albon’s excuses!

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 27November 1, 2020 3:32 PM

Kvyat was really earning that Alpha Tauri seat today. Is he still being replaced by Tsunoda?

by Anonymousreply 28November 1, 2020 7:05 PM

Gotta feel for Sebastian Vettel actually doing quite well then getting fucked at his pit stop plus a bit of his front wing ended up under Valterri Bottas' floor the entire race. These clowns at Ferrari.

by Anonymousreply 29November 2, 2020 12:46 AM

People are shocked that F1 will be racing in Saudi Arabia next year. Really? Last time I checked, Russia is on the calendar. Not exactly the shining beacon of gay rights protection. 'We race as one' is nothing but meaningless lip service.

by Anonymousreply 30November 5, 2020 9:24 PM

The provisional (and very ambitious) calendar for 2021 has been announced. Let's hope the season will actually start in March, as planned.

R31 I'm not sure the F1 circus will be given priority for the covid vaccin, I think we will have no audience for a good part of 2021.

by Anonymousreply 32November 10, 2020 4:10 PM

There is no way Melbourne should be allowed crowds. The Victorians had an exponentially higher infection rate than the rest of the country for the sole reason they are a state of QAnon woowoo tinhats.

This lady is a really big Renault fan…

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 34November 10, 2020 9:32 PM

I was never a huge Sebastian Vettel fan especially in his Red Bull Racing days, but I am glad this handsome devil isn’t leaving F1 any time soon. It would be the end of an era when he leaves. In his age group Grosjean and Rosberg are gone, and over the next 5 years or Seb, Ricciardo, Bottas and Hamilton will follow.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 35November 11, 2020 9:55 AM

R35 I like Seb. I wish he had a better car and a team that actually gave a fuck about him. Can't wait to see what he does at Aston Martin.

by Anonymousreply 36November 11, 2020 10:26 AM

Seb did quite well last year (though Ferrari were cheating) but he is consistently and significantly worse than Charles LeClerc. Though he is clearly a offering from self-esteem issues given the drama of true Ferrari clowns, his skills and hand-eye-coordination can’t have degraded that much in 12 months.

Hopefully Papa Lawrence Stroll and Otmar Szafnauer give him some love.

by Anonymousreply 37November 11, 2020 10:59 AM

Seb is doing extremely well considering he is his own strategist, engineer, mechanic and race marshall. I would have frisbeed that piece of front wing into the pit wall after the race if I were him. That man is a saint.

What is it I hear about Checo taking a sabbatical and Albon keeping his seat? I thought Checo's deal with Red Bull was pretty much signed?

by Anonymousreply 47November 13, 2020 7:38 PM

This circuit is a disaster. They resurfaced it a week ago, there is zero rubber down and it's cold. Fuck.

by Anonymousreply 48November 14, 2020 11:47 AM

British born and raised Albon is sucking Thai dick to get that Thai sponsorship and Yoovidya’s go ahead with Red Bull. If he does keep an undeserved seat next year it will be thanks to that.

by Anonymousreply 49November 14, 2020 12:02 PM

The horrendous conditions on track made for an interesting starting grid for tomorrow. I'm just happy not to see the usual HAM/BOT on pole.

7 World Constructors Championships for Mercedes, 7 World Drivers Championships for Lewis Hamilton. Wow. The vile conditions today and his tyre and temperature management shows for once and for all it’s not the car, it’s him. Just masterful.

2 and 3 Sergio Perez and Sebastian Vettel was so lovely! I’m so happy for them. There was much choking from the Gen Z drivers. (Though Carlos Sainz did really well) The top 3 really know tyre management. Cool heads and experience really won out.

by Anonymousreply 53November 15, 2020 11:58 AM

Very happy for Seb! He deserves to be on the podium again. Imagine if he won?

by Anonymousreply 54November 15, 2020 3:25 PM

[quote] Imagine if he won?

That’s pretty hard, TBH

by Anonymousreply 55November 15, 2020 5:02 PM

I wish we had such exciting and unpredictable races all the time. That podium changed every minute and the mercs weren't even near it!

by Anonymousreply 56November 15, 2020 5:43 PM

R56 Race point engine is a Mercedes...

by Anonymousreply 57November 15, 2020 6:55 PM

R57 I meant the drivers. Seeing HAM/BOT/VER on the podium every bloody weekend is annoying and boring. Halfway through the race we had Stroll and Albon at the top. Regardless of how you feel about them, at least that makes for a fun race.

by Anonymousreply 58November 15, 2020 7:45 PM

LOL, how could having Albon in P1 for 45 seconds make the race more fun? British F1 fans are hilarious.

by Anonymousreply 59November 15, 2020 8:16 PM

So, apparently Seb Vettel and Zac Efron are the same age. Mind blown.

Fuck that crash, so glad Grosjean is ok, that Haas ducking exploded

by Anonymousreply 62November 29, 2020 1:20 PM

Scary stuff! He's lucky to be alive and unharmed.

45 minute race delay for now.

by Anonymousreply 63November 29, 2020 1:36 PM

Haven't seen a crash that scary in years. A miracle that he got out of that relatively unscathed.

Deletraz and Fittipaldi are the Haas reserve drivers.

by Anonymousreply 68November 29, 2020 1:46 PM

I'm actually surprised Dany's wheel didn't come right off on impact.

by Anonymousreply 69November 29, 2020 1:46 PM

That put the halo debate to rest. It saved Romain’s life.

Probably Deletraz will replace him. Or Hulk.

Russell could also drive the merc this weekend.

by Anonymousreply 84December 1, 2020 10:52 AM

With a non-race ready driver at Haas and the outer circuit this weekend Russell has a slightly higher chance of getting points this weekend. Williams would be crazy to agree to it

Gosh it would be funny if Latifi scored points first.

by Anonymousreply 85December 1, 2020 1:05 PM

R82 the shape of his forehead is weird, they modified the picture? It's not baldness, it's his head?

by Anonymousreply 86December 1, 2020 4:29 PM

Russell in the Mercedes seat confirmed. Possibly in Abu Dhabi as well. And then his carriage will turn into a pumpkin again. I mean, a Williams. LOL

by Anonymousreply 87December 2, 2020 8:01 AM

Aiken for Williams, can't stop laughing

by Anonymousreply 88December 2, 2020 10:54 AM

Romain Grosjean met death in the car, and he named it Benoit.

That's the most French thing of all time.

by Anonymousreply 89December 6, 2020 3:01 PM

When his hands heal, Merc are giving Romain a test drive to say goodbye to F1 which is nice. He’s returned to Switzerland to be with his sons.

Albon has as good as said he is staying in 2021. I think the Thais had a word in Marko’s ear.

Kvyat said his recent great laps were too late. Give that this weekend earned him enough super-licence points, Yuki Tsunoda will likely be joining Pierre Gasly in AlphaTauri doing lots of weird modelling.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 90December 6, 2020 3:45 PM

Any predictions for Russell? If he wins, it will prove that it's all about the car and not so much about the driver.

by Anonymousreply 91December 6, 2020 4:16 PM

Cry more, r91! Lewis Hamilton has nothing to fear if Toto was using George Russell as a negotiating tactic. Russell can't manage his tires and drove them into a puncture. Mercedes' chaos caused Hamilton two losses this year, it's only because he's so consistent people forget.

I thought Crofty and Brundle on Sky were going to commit ritual suicide during that yellow flag. I loved that shot of Otmar Szafnauer grinning at the camera during the yellow flags.

Lovely podium. A deserved win for Checo, first points for Ocon and redemption for Stroll.

by Anonymousreply 93December 6, 2020 6:16 PM

Toto Wolff is busy being depressed about lockdown and not seeing his butch Scottish wife 23/7 and should manage his team better. You don't see Red Bull fucking up in the garage like this.

by Anonymousreply 94December 6, 2020 6:25 PM

Man, Checo looks like Tom Cruise.

by Anonymousreply 95December 6, 2020 6:26 PM

Mazepin is forced by Haaz to apologize for posting a story on his IG where he harass a girl. half assed apologize, he is more sorry for posting it and having to face the consequences.

The reaction of Haaz how they are sorry he posted it on social media is weird, they shouldn't mention that, his bad behaviour is enough.

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 96December 9, 2020 10:28 AM

R96 He's a homophobic, spoilt asshole who's used to get what he wants. Didn't he beat up Ilott at the race a while ago?

Haas won't do anything, since they chose cash over talent. I wonder if FIA can penalize him?

by Anonymousreply 97December 9, 2020 11:38 AM

Sky F1 made a rare good suggestion, that sanctions should exist within FIA accredited sports, so if you are karting and go to DTW or F4, or graduating from F2 to F1, any 12-month-points loss should carry over. That would encourage real accountability. As it is, Mazepin goes to F1 with a clean slate.

by Anonymousreply 98December 11, 2020 11:59 AM

Kind of funny when everyone complains about predictable Mercedes dominance, the most boring race of the year was during a Red Bull win. What a fucking yawn.

by Anonymousreply 102December 13, 2020 2:01 PM

Any HAM/BOT/VER podium is a yawnfest. Can't wait for McLaren to dominate next year. Danny Ric's wins would be fun.

by Anonymousreply 103December 13, 2020 7:18 PM

Checo in, Albon out for 2021. Not entirely unexpected.

by Anonymousreply 104December 18, 2020 3:08 PM

Thrilled for Checo! The UK F1 press was way too up Albooty's ass. With Perez, Verstappen, Gasly and Tsunoda the RBR stable is looking pretty good.

by Anonymousreply 105December 19, 2020 3:09 AM

Let's see how well Checo does playing second fiddle to Verstappen. Because that was certainly the issue with the previous teammates.

Has Tsunoda been confirmed?

by Anonymousreply 106December 19, 2020 7:17 AM

Wait, is Mazepin getting dumped by Haas? Albon must be working on his Powerpoint presentation as we speak.

by Anonymousreply 107December 21, 2020 10:27 PM

In what universe would it make sense that Haas would want Albon?

by Anonymousreply 108December 21, 2020 11:57 PM

Haas needs money to replace Mazepin's cash. Does Albon have his own Thai sponsors? Or are they all tied to RedBull?

Unless Ilott or Schwartzman get a rich sugardaddy, they are not getting that seat. Fittipaldi does not bring any money either, does he? Any of you bitches have 20 mil lying around to help these boys out?

by Anonymousreply 116March 20, 2021 4:04 AM

by Anonymousreply 118March 20, 2021 6:01 PM

R118 My gaydar fails often, but to me he reads like a straight nerdy gamer. I get an immature and shy/virgin vibe, but not necessarily a gay one. Who knows.
