I liked her in Downton Abby but don't get her success these days. I feel as if Michelle Dockery is a much better actress.

Her part in Downton Abbey was of a vivacious, sympathetic, psychologically abused young woman. That’s very attractive to both men & women. They like sympathetic characters, they like liveliness. They like pretty women in beautiful, historical costumes.

She also has a big, wide open face. People find that attractive. It’s welcoming & when someone with a big face has a big smile, it automatically makes humans respond positively. So she lucked out in the looks/physicality area and she lucked out in getting a sympathetic role in a widely watched television drama.

I thought her acting in (Mary) Cinderella and Mama Mia was world-class. In Cinderella, she created a highly moving portrait of a woman who finds her strength from within, it’s worth seeing, as ridiculous as that sounds, if you’re into rising actors. Mama Mia was amazing, but she gained back her normal weight, I was surprised that she actually has a pretty big ass and thighs. Borderline overweight. But again, incredible skilled acting chops. She’s extremely talented, she’s not going away anytime soon.
