by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 24, 2020 10:07 AM |
If you would be so kind.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 24, 2020 10:17 AM |
If it wouldn't be too much trouble...
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 24, 2020 10:40 AM |
R3 wins
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 24, 2020 10:48 AM |
"Kindly do the needful." which I get regularly from contacts in India. What an obnoxious phrase.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 24, 2020 10:57 AM |
Depending on the tone:
Have a nice day!
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 24, 2020 10:57 AM |
Excuse me - Excuse Me - EXCUSE ME!
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 24, 2020 10:58 AM |
I don't mean to be a pest, but.......

You know what you ought to do, don't you?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 24, 2020 11:27 AM |
It’s amazing you’ve gotten this far. Kudos! And with only an Associate degree.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 24, 2020 11:32 AM |
Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 24, 2020 11:38 AM |
What R2 says. "Please kindly" must be something imbeciles say.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 24, 2020 11:38 AM |
I admire your lack of vanity.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 24, 2020 11:41 AM |
I would encourage you to..
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 24, 2020 11:49 AM |
Just a gentle reminder...

Have a GREAT rest of your day!
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 24, 2020 11:53 AM |
I’m Sistine my boundaries now so I don’t have to tell you later.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 24, 2020 11:53 AM |
Ugh, the above should be sating, not Sistine. Fucking auto incorrect.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 24, 2020 11:54 AM |
[quote]"Kindly do the needful." which I get regularly from contacts in India. What an obnoxious phrase.
Oh, I also viscerally detest that one, R26. It usually comes with an overall faux obsequiousness.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 24, 2020 11:54 AM |
Well if you're happy wearing that, OK...
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 24, 2020 11:54 AM |
[quote] Ugh, the above should be sating,
Psst.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 24, 2020 12:15 PM |
Per my previous email...
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 24, 2020 12:31 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 24, 2020 12:32 PM |
***Second request***
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 24, 2020 12:36 PM |
Can we agree to disagree?
HA, Ha, whenever some old Boomer tries to use that 80's self help catch phrase on me, my answer is always NO! It catches them so off guard.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 24, 2020 12:39 PM |
I'm sorry you feel that way.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 24, 2020 12:40 PM |
R38 & R44. Yes. Absolutely.
-R33
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 24, 2020 12:43 PM |
That was delicious, I didn’t even taste all of that garlic. I’m sorry, I meant to include you on that communication. I’m sorry I’m late, there was a thing with the kids.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 24, 2020 12:44 PM |
I apologize if I offended anyone.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 24, 2020 12:51 PM |
10 items or less (fewer)
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 24, 2020 1:37 PM |
Any email with a "read" receipt.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 24, 2020 1:41 PM |
^^Infuriating.
Though my current work email program notifies you the sender wants a read receipt and gives you the option of yes or no. I never send one.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 24, 2020 1:44 PM |
It's madame!
by Anonymous | reply 57 | October 24, 2020 4:26 PM |
Kindly do the needful
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 24, 2020 5:03 PM |
Kindly do the needful is killing me!!!!! Never heard it before entering this thread.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | October 24, 2020 5:11 PM |
Just yesterday when I called someone out in an email - “Yes I know...” No bitch, YOU DON’T KNOW because you would not have asked that idiotic question. 😑
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 24, 2020 5:13 PM |
Have a blessed day!
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 24, 2020 5:25 PM |
It's not you it's me.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 24, 2020 5:25 PM |
[quote] Kindly do the needful is killing me!!!!! Never heard it before entering this thread.
Me neither.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | October 24, 2020 5:55 PM |
Kindly do the needful, quintessentially/exclusively Indian-English.
“Don’t take this the wrong way...”
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 24, 2020 6:07 PM |
No offence, but...
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 24, 2020 6:49 PM |
With all due respect...
by Anonymous | reply 66 | October 24, 2020 6:56 PM |
Much as I like you, I have to say...
by Anonymous | reply 67 | October 24, 2020 6:58 PM |
[quote]Have a GREAT rest of your day!
What's wrong with this one?
by Anonymous | reply 68 | October 24, 2020 7:27 PM |
It’s all in the tone, r68.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | October 24, 2020 7:28 PM |
"Thank you so much" instead of just "thank you." Gets me every time.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | October 24, 2020 7:32 PM |
R70 I say that and I really mean it. It’s where you are from in the world.
by Anonymous | reply 71 | October 25, 2020 5:12 AM |
Best,
by Anonymous | reply 72 | October 25, 2020 5:20 AM |
Some of these examples aren’t passive aggressive at all. You bitches are reaching.
Wishing you well, Dutchie.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | October 25, 2020 8:03 AM |
“Dutchie” was supposed to end up on the next line.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | October 25, 2020 8:03 AM |
Mr. Vice President, I'm speaking.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | October 25, 2020 9:07 AM |
Retweet if you agree!
by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 25, 2020 9:35 AM |
Uh huh...used by black women.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | October 25, 2020 9:37 AM |
“I’m not judging you...”
by Anonymous | reply 78 | October 25, 2020 9:42 AM |
You’re welcome to come too!
by Anonymous | reply 79 | October 25, 2020 11:53 AM |
"If it's not too much to ask.."
by Anonymous | reply 80 | October 25, 2020 2:30 PM |
“I need you to ....”
by Anonymous | reply 81 | October 25, 2020 4:23 PM |
R81 here's a more sinister one "I'm going to have to ask you to...." The speaker is displacing the authority... "If it were up to me, I wouldn't say anything, but I'm going to have to ask you to...."
by Anonymous | reply 82 | October 25, 2020 4:58 PM |
Far be it for me to . . .
by Anonymous | reply 83 | October 25, 2020 5:13 PM |
I hate to be a bother
by Anonymous | reply 84 | October 25, 2020 5:13 PM |
Do you think we could . . .
by Anonymous | reply 85 | October 25, 2020 5:14 PM |
When you have a moment, I need to have a word...
by Anonymous | reply 86 | October 25, 2020 6:11 PM |
I got a snotty email the other day from someone who was waiting 20mins to have a training session with me that their boss had cancelled with me but without telling them.
I wrote "I'm so sorry that your experience yesterday was so unsatisfactory, please see the appended email from your training department"
"Obviously, I am always delighted to learn with you but I do require a notice and invite from your company's training department to be able to attend the training session. Hope you're well!"
Of course I was absolutely fuming.. but passive aggression helped a bit.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | October 25, 2020 6:17 PM |
I didn't mean to pry...
by Anonymous | reply 88 | October 25, 2020 6:49 PM |
Enjoy!
As in," Enjoy the rest of your day" as muttered by cashiers regurgitating the script enforced by management.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | October 25, 2020 7:02 PM |
Let me add the cashier or store clerk saying: "Have a nice day." My response: "It's 10 pm."
by Anonymous | reply 90 | October 26, 2020 12:20 AM |
From my days as a reference librarian (and pre-Internet):
Patron : "I just have a quick question ..." Half an hour later ...
by Anonymous | reply 91 | October 26, 2020 7:42 PM |
R91 anyone who has a “quick” anything query is going to waste a lot of your time. I learned this in sales. Quick = RUN AWAY. Make an excuse if you have to.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | October 26, 2020 8:37 PM |
[quote] anyone who has a “quick” anything query
You could’ve made your point without resorting to slurs.
I mean, really, to call him query is just rude.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | October 26, 2020 8:40 PM |
Why are these all work related?
by Anonymous | reply 94 | October 26, 2020 8:42 PM |
"Might I suggest..."
by Anonymous | reply 95 | October 26, 2020 8:50 PM |
Just wanting to provide some constructive feedback...
by Anonymous | reply 96 | October 26, 2020 8:51 PM |
Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to your relply.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | October 26, 2020 8:53 PM |
Thoughts and prayers.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | October 26, 2020 8:53 PM |
Be blessed...
by Anonymous | reply 99 | October 26, 2020 8:54 PM |
Aw, ain’t you sweet.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | October 26, 2020 8:57 PM |
R93 Kindly do they needful and go fuck yourself.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | October 26, 2020 9:12 PM |
Bless your heart, r101.
Just. Bless it.
🙄
by Anonymous | reply 102 | October 26, 2020 9:27 PM |
Own it!
by Anonymous | reply 103 | October 26, 2020 9:44 PM |
Kindly omit flowers.
