They air it in blocks. A few episodes on BH90210, then a few episodes of the 2008 reboot, then back to a few episodes of the original, then a few of the reboot, then lastly back to the original, then overnight (around midnight) they show a few episodes of the original Melrose Place.

I love the first season of 90210. Preachy yes, but there were some great episodes. Kelly'd drunk mom, the slumber party, Palm Springs weekend.

She told Donna about it when she caught her whoring mother in Color Me Badd's hotel so she didn't take it to the grave. Jim got his revenge with his secretary Dottie.

Yes. There were a lot of teen shows that season and 90210 kind of got lost in the shuffle. It started to gain a little steam about halfway through. Part of the problem was Babes was shitty lead in. Too bad because The Simpsons was huge.

Season 1 ranked #88 for its first year. It flopped, but was a hit in Europe.

It started picking up steam during reruns, which led the producers to plan an unusual second-season premiere for early July, 1991, vs the usual September or October season premieres, showing what the Beverly Hills kids were doing during the summer months

Yeah, I remember watching 90210 during the summer of 1991. It was so rare to see new episodes during the summer. Long before the days of Netflix and streaming.

It was a smart move on Fox's part and it sealed 90210's fate/success.

The show did much better during season 2 and became a hit.

It was a really smart move to air the summer episodes and have something to watch besides The Gulf War.

The Walshes seemed like distant parents. The owner of the Peach Pit appeared to have a closer relationship with Brandon than Jim did.

And they definitely put Brandon on a pedestal compared to Brenda. Even when Brandon had his car wrecked because he was too high on drugs to drive and take it home, it was like it was no big deal.

Tori and Gabrielle were the poster children for progeria.

R36 Brandon was definitely the favorite child.

He was always on point and never disappointing them. Always very driven, strong, athletic, handsome, hard working and intelligent. He also stood up for what he believed in.
