Cindy Walsh on 90210 was a WHORE!!!
I am rewatching season 1 (which is actually terrific, rewatch it if you haven't in years) and there is an episode where her ex boyfriend and her become acquainted again, and she has a make out session with him, and later holds him etc. That bitch is a cheat!!!
And to make matters worse, she never ever tells Jim that she cheated on him, and later they become good again and he surprises her with a weekend getaway or something.
WTF.
That Midwestern small town chick went full on whore!

Cindy would ask me to sleep over constantly, but I chose not to.

Oh, Jim too. But asked me not to tell Cindy.

Is that the season where the truck magically drove through the bus?

That bitch! I would have been more than happy to console Jim with some sexy man-times....

R3 no, that was season 3.

As a gayling during the BH90210 heyday, I had a thing for Jim. The bald spot didn't bother me at all and he had a nice, hairy chest and a cute smile.

There was a short-lived spin-off series, in which Cindy left Jim and opened an exclusive Beverly Hills escort agency whose niche was importing naive, corn-fed Midwestern girls and pimping them out for top dollar to kinky clients. It was called "Madame $indy".

R7 that sounds even better than Models Inc.

Oh yes, Daddy Jim was a hot piece of furry mansex. If he was my high school friend's dad, I would have let him take my virgin hole.

Cindy was a sexless, frigid bitch. Daddy Jim Walsh should have banged Jackie Taylor.
Now she was a WHORE!
And a drunken whore to boot.
Imagine the drama between Brenda and Kelly if that happened? Meow!

What can you rewatch it on?
There are some Halloween episodes on Pop tonight but it’s whetting my appetite to rewatch the entire series.
Men looked so much better in early 90s jeans (though not late 90s baggy nightmare jeans.)

I fully support those of you perving on Jim. God help me, I did the same...

I wasn't kidding, R6--bald spots really do turn me on. And I've got dibs on Jim over all you other bitches!

Some men look good bald.
R13 PlutoTV has a 90210 channel. 24/7 90210
They air it in blocks. A few episodes on BH90210, then a few episodes of the 2008 reboot, then back to a few episodes of the original, then a few of the reboot, then lastly back to the original, then overnight (around midnight) they show a few episodes of the original Melrose Place.

I love the first season of 90210. Preachy yes, but there were some great episodes. Kelly'd drunk mom, the slumber party, Palm Springs weekend.

She told Donna about it when she caught her whoring mother in Color Me Badd's hotel so she didn't take it to the grave. Jim got his revenge with his secretary Dottie.

Cindy Walsh is epitome of mom jeans.

She was about the only redeeming character on that show. The rest were all preachy and annoying as hell.

Cindy was from the Twin Cities, not a "small town."

I would've love to have seen a drunk Jackie Taylor go head to head with Kelly's diet pill popping friend Amanda Peyser after she hadn't eaten in 4 days.

The actress who played Dottie was great as Taylor's bitchy mother on The OC.
[Quote] She was about the only redeeming character on that show. The rest were all preachy and annoying as hell.
Cindy was a bit feisty in the Pilot. I love the scene where she just dumps all of their shit out on the kitchen floor. I wanted to see more of that.

Didn’t season 1 flop in ratings? So they started season 2 during summer and that’s when it took off?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 25, 2020 1:09 AM

Yes. There were a lot of teen shows that season and 90210 kind of got lost in the shuffle. It started to gain a little steam about halfway through. Part of the problem was Babes was shitty lead in. Too bad because The Simpsons was huge.

Season 1 ranked #88 for its first year. It flopped, but was a hit in Europe.
It started picking up steam during reruns, which led the producers to plan an unusual second-season premiere for early July, 1991, vs the usual September or October season premieres, showing what the Beverly Hills kids were doing during the summer months

Yeah, I remember watching 90210 during the summer of 1991. It was so rare to see new episodes during the summer. Long before the days of Netflix and streaming.
It was a smart move on Fox's part and it sealed 90210's fate/success.

Yeah, season 1 finished 88th and season 2 finished #44
The show did much better during season 2 and became a hit.

It was a really smart move to air the summer episodes and have something to watch besides The Gulf War.

The Walshes seemed like distant parents. The owner of the Peach Pit appeared to have a closer relationship with Brandon than Jim did.
And they definitely put Brandon on a pedestal compared to Brenda. Even when Brandon had his car wrecked because he was too high on drugs to drive and take it home, it was like it was no big deal.

Tori and Gabrielle were the poster children for progeria.

R36 Brandon was definitely the favorite child.
He was always on point and never disappointing them. Always very driven, strong, athletic, handsome, hard working and intelligent. He also stood up for what he believed in. He was a good egg, so when he did fuck up finally they almost didn’t believe it, and when it sunk in they weren’t too hard because this was out of the ordinary for him.
With Brenda, she was always fucking it and pissing them off so they felt they had to be harder on her.

Brandon says that to Jimbo and never gets any shit for it. The episode ends with Brenda telling Brandon how proud their dad is of him because he reminds him of his grandfather 🙄
[Quote] With Brenda, she was always fucking it and pissing them off so they felt they had to be harder on her.
Some of it was sexism. Jim practically puts a condom in Brandon's hand when his first gf comes to visit. No way that would happen with Brenda.

I'm surprised no one ever reruns the episode where Jim comes home early for work, only to catch Brandon and Dylan in flagrante. "Don't worry, many guys at your age are *curious*".

R36, distant parents? They were the Mike and Carol Brady of the 90s. They were always waiting up for them reading a book and gave guidance and support, especially in season one. All of their friends had distant parents.

R45 is correct. All of their friends even comment on how their relationship with their parents is so good and how lucky they are for it because their parents are absent or the worst.
