I remember the early days of the media saying”Let Trump be Trump” and “he just became president today” after he made some public address where I didn’t shit on the floor or grab someone’s pussy. I suspect if he comports himself relatively well they’ll crank that shit up again.

I predict there will be stark contrasts. Trump is likely to take his uninterrupted time to ramble, air grievances, chest pound and lie. Biden will likely take every opportunity to talk directly to the American people.

According to a WH official, Trump's strategy for tonight will be to answer only the questions he wants to answer, and to rant constantly about Hunter Biden.

Trump carried though on his threat to post the footage from the '60 Minutes' interview he abruptly walked out of. It's an odd decision, not only because the footage makes him look bad (what doesn't?) but because it gives the Biden team a preview of what he's likely to say during the debate. Spoiler: He insists that he doesn't want tough questions, and lies about having healthcare program to replace the ACA.

I won’t be watching. I’ve had enough of this circus. Makes me so ashamed to be an American. I don’t want to hear Trump yell about Hunter Biden for 90 minutes and try to get Joe to stutter. I’ll watch the recap show on MSNBC.

Biden's numbers have shown a little sinking the last couple of days, and I would hope the debate would give him a little boost. Number one, he got boosts from the last two debates, as he always does when Trump gets in front of a national audience for whatever reason. Number two, Biden's been out of the spotlight the last few days, and especially coming off of Obama's speech yesterday, his reappearance could remind a lot of people why they like him better than Trump. Trump aides have been telling people that the big surprise in store for tonight's debate is he's bringing Tony Bobulinski, the former Hunter Biden business associate, as a guest tonight.

They're hoping to spring this on Biden, the way he brought Bill Clinton accusers in 2016.

Bobulinski was the subject of a Breitbart article yesterday portrayed as a "bombshell" in which he says that he read Ron Johnson's report on the Bidens and got mad that he "connected the dots" to think they were making money behind his back.

The Breitbart article about Bobulinski also mentions that he was the subject of the Wall Street Journal article which Trump mentioned at the beginning of the week and said would be a huge problem for the Biden campaign -- but which so far, hasn't run.

Why would that even matter, r23? Would Joe even know him, especially with a mask on? On another note, I can’t believe how much I hate that rotting piece of human garbage that is Dump.
