Tony was a fantastic composer, ahead of his time in some ways.

The Outfield’s ‘Burning Blue’ is one of my all-time favourite rock-songs, and I count it as one of the top ten underrated should-have-been pop-rock hits of all time. I connect it closely to a certain relationship in the past, so it will always have a place in my heart. This band were so much more than just ‘Your Love’, excellent as that song was.

I was a big fan of The Outfield. I especially liked a little known song of theirs called My Paradise.

Call me when the 867-5309 singer dies, I’m hoping to eventually rid my brian of the real estate that that number takes up.

I bought their debut LP album because of "Your Love."

Still have it --and all my albums -- somewhere in this house.
