A tribute to a longstanding partner ("I wouldn't have my career without her") is OK, but info on who you're dating - classless. Pictures of your kids, or often even their names - just no.

In fact, the time you hear about straight actors' love lives the most is when they leave their 45-year-old wife (whose name you didn't know beforehand) for a 20 year-old. The exceptions are the international superstar types.

Now that there's gay marriage it's most common to hear someone drop "my husband" or "my wife" in the context of an interview, which is equivalent to what a straight actor would do, and I've never seen the interviewer make a headline of that.
