I don't see the point in resurrecting long extinct animals when we're still allowing modern day species to become extinct. And, as mentioned, birds are the last remaining branch of the dinosaur family tree, and we should appreciate them now.

Forget dinosaurs, bring back Neolithic charismatic megafauna: mastodons, mammoths, saber tooth tigers, cave bears, etc.
