Businesses opening an hour later due to Covid

What exactly is that going to accomplish with regard to Covid?

Let's see...time to wipe everything down. Or time to test the employees. Or not enough business to justify the danger of being open.

I presume it's because business is down and they're trying to reduce payroll hours.

As we get towards Christmas, we'll probably see a return to more traditional hours.

Having worked in retail for too many years, there really isn't a lot of business between 10 and 11 in the morning and things drop off after 7:30 or 8 in the evening.
