This is starting to be an All Star cast!
Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep star in Adam McKay’s ‘Don’t Look Up’

Poor Meryl has been reduced to supporting roles I see.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 14, 2020 8:17 PM |
Timmy just joined the cast too

[Quote] Lawrence and DiCaprio will play the two scientists.
DiCaprio as a scientist?? Good luck. And eww at Jonah Hill.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 15, 2020 10:28 AM |
Can't wait to miss it!
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 15, 2020 12:36 PM |
Adam McKay = hack
And the dumb dick thinks he is making 'art'.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 15, 2020 12:41 PM |
DiCaprio and JLaw as scientists. Oh God write the obituaries for this now.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 17, 2020 1:16 PM |
R2: Unfortunately
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 17, 2020 1:17 PM |
Is there something for Colton?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 17, 2020 2:59 PM |
I'm more interested in Glenn and Olivia going for Round 2 in Supporting Actress this year.
With Ellen Burstyn, Mary J. Blige, and Toni Collette as possible contenders!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 17, 2020 3:04 PM |
Too many stars collide, they will become a supernova and fizzle out into a white dwarf, a flop.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 17, 2020 3:06 PM |
R10 he's busy with his YouTube career.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 18, 2020 3:06 AM |
Colton has a YouTube career?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 18, 2020 3:09 AM |
A lot of these actors will never share scenes together or be on set at the same time r13. Short filming commitments that work around their schedules is how you can fit in so many names.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 18, 2020 3:12 AM |
Jesus Christ! Can that fugly Jonah Hill do ANYTHING without Leonardo?!
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 18, 2020 3:26 AM |
Jonah’s first Oscar nomination was in a Brad Pitt film. His second was in a Leo film.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 18, 2020 3:33 AM |
The world is in love with Timmy.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 18, 2020 3:36 AM |
Middle school dropout JLaw as a scientist?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 18, 2020 4:14 AM |
R21 Her superb acting skills will persuade us otherwise.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 18, 2020 4:22 AM |
R21 it’s called acting.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 18, 2020 8:51 AM |
R23 And in JLaw's case it is always BAD acting.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 18, 2020 9:23 AM |
Yeah, not interested. Meryl must be looking for an easy buck to support her recently divorced daughters and pay for the other one's "modelling" career.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 18, 2020 9:46 AM |
R24 she was good in Winter's Bone and Mother.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 18, 2020 12:21 PM |
Yeah and overrated in most of her other work.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 18, 2020 12:31 PM |
R27 she was, but the main problem was she got cast in roles better suited for an older actress.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 18, 2020 12:37 PM |
Isn't JLaw still a bit too young to play a scientist? It's odd how she's always getting roles that would be more befitting for older actresses
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 18, 2020 12:38 PM |
It’s Hollywood. They cast 22 year olds in roles meant for 30 year olds and 30 year olds as moms.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 18, 2020 12:50 PM |
Yeah, too young for SLP, Joy, Anerican Hustle.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 18, 2020 2:10 PM |
I really like Jonas Hill. Why shouldn't he work with LD?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 18, 2020 2:36 PM |
She was definitely too young for American Hustle. She was playing a woman in her 40s 🙄🙄🙄
At least in Joy we watch her age, so it was fine.
SLP she was too young but most wouldn’t know that because the screenplay and script do not make her seem older.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 18, 2020 2:42 PM |
She was definitely far too young for her character in American Hustle...but she was still good in the movie.
I know everyone wants to hate her, but she is a good actress. Secretly you know that.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 18, 2020 2:44 PM |
She CAN BE a good actress. She can also be a BAD actress.
She was fantastic in Winters Bone, Mother and even the first two Hunger Games movies. She didn’t seem to even wanna be there for the third and fourth HG movies.
She was good in SLP, but not deserving of that Oscar win, although it wasn’t super offensive either.
Sorry, but I found her performances in Hustle and Joy laughable. Joy was a big joke and she was ridiculous in it, and she gave a HS production performance in Hustle. That performance was very uneven.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 18, 2020 2:49 PM |
Emmanuel Riva wasn't just robbed at The Oscars, she was beaten, feathers stuck up her orifices and her false teeth knocked down her throat. Shameful.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 18, 2020 4:17 PM |
[quote]I really like Jonas Hill.
You like a grown man that runs around calling people fag when they’re upset?
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 18, 2020 5:15 PM |
Jennifer Lawrence’s presence in a movie indicates to me that the director and producers don’t give a damn about the quality and just want to cash in on her name recognition. A scientist?!
It’s not just that she’s dumb in interviews, she *looks* dumb—dead eyes 24/7 on that one. I find her neither likable nor pretty and 3/4 of her Oscar nominations (plus her win for the nothing special ‘Silver Linings Playbook’) were completely undeserved. She’s also a spoiled, entitled, mean girl whose idea of wit is talking about shitting her pants and peeing in sinks.

R38: I couldn't have said it better. Does Netflix not realize she's fucking nuts and box office poison?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 18, 2020 5:34 PM |
Ummm I am the Millennial version of Meryl, haven’t you heard?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 18, 2020 7:04 PM |
Why did Leo’s voice never drop? Does he still have a little boy’s package, too? What do they do to all those child actors to keep them stunted?
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 18, 2020 7:18 PM |
Good luck to the cinematographer who has to try to make Jennifer Lawrence's mug look decent onscreen. I've seen better faces on iodine bottles!
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 18, 2020 7:27 PM |
Agree with R38
She actually won a Golden Globe for "Joy" over Maggie Smith and Lily Tomlin.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 18, 2020 7:46 PM |
And that was the Golden Globe Q&A where she purposely humiliated the foreign reporter, just to appear cool and funny.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 18, 2020 7:47 PM |
[Quote] Does Netflix not realize she's fucking nuts and box office poison?
Why would they care? Lots of actors fit that profile and still get work. Most of the stories about her (that I've heard) on set are positive.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 19, 2020 3:21 AM |
Talk about a cast of pretentious people. I’ll pass on this one.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 19, 2020 3:24 AM |
R23 intelligence and education are one of those things that really can't be faked.
Haven't you seen those porn films where a college professor or CEO or whatever is being played by a trailer park methhead? It's ALWAYS obvious.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 19, 2020 3:43 AM |
This sounds really stupid
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 19, 2020 3:59 AM |
[Quote] intelligence and education are one of those things that really can't be faked.
Hence why it's called acting.
[Quote] Haven't you seen those porn films where a college professor or CEO or whatever is being played by a trailer park methhead? It's ALWAYS obvious.
This isn't a porno.....
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 19, 2020 4:32 AM |
R45: Netflix will realize it was a mistake to film with her when the film bombs.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 19, 2020 2:13 PM |
this is gonna be a stinker. can't wait!
