His name is Doug DeMuro. He is an automotive writer/vlogger. He currently works for Auto Trader but he used to work for Jalopnik, the car website previously owned by Gawker Media.

He seems to be loaded, he lives in La Jolla and owns expensive cars. That said he dresses like shit.

He’s married but odd and gay adjacent , I remember him saying his favorite show is The Gilmore Girls. I can’t watch him because I find him incredibly annoying and he’s aging like milk.

No love for Doug here? He has a most unusual manner of speech, which I've come to appreciate. Though the "Doug Score" is a bit odd, I do enjoy his enthusiasm. The comments after his vids are priceless.

R57 I do enjoy a Doug video, his huge enthusiasm and general uber-nerdiness about the cars he's reviewing are appealing and the range of cars he has access to is limitless and very often interesting to a fellow car-nerd, such as myself. His overgrown-kid manner is also a great contrast to the faux-macho bores who generally present these type of YouTube reviews.

What R45 said. Yes, he’s the insufferable, gay-adjacent Doug DeMuro. I love watching car videos on YouTube. Especially Porsches. I can’t watch this guy. His steroidal, off the wall delivery is insufferable. Sad, because of the few reviews I’ve watched, his are detailed and comprehensive.
