Of note, one of the authors of this NYT article is also someone who was infected with Covid recently thanks to the WH.
Oh, and he passed it on to his wife.

Rod Rosenstein, then the deputy attorney general, went even further, telling prosecutors that it did not matter how young the children were.
He said that government lawyers should not have refused to prosecute two cases simply because the children were barely more than infants.

[quote] One takeaway from this horrifying story is to remember that it’s not just Trump. ALL of these people are accountable to history for their role in enabling this.

I'm so angry and upset by this. Especially the infants. I very rarely care about the BS of politics, having worked in DC for my career. But this enrages me. I want instant karma to hit the Trump voters. I want cosmic retribution for what they've done to the children seeking freedom in my country. I want to scream in their faces.

Like a lot of the early Trump appointees I was starting to think of Sessions and Rex Tillerson as not that bad compared to maniacal zealots like Barr and Pompeo. Of course “not that bad” being relative. This slaps me upside the head as a reminder of how rotten and evil ALL of them are.

Fuck you, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions

White suburban women really aren't going to like this, which means even more of them will turn on Trump.

Sessions was always evil. Isn’t he a card carrying Klan/John Bircher?

Yes, he was blocked from a federal judgeship (under Reagan, I think) because he was a tiny racist elf. So of course Trump ran out and hired him as AG.

Also Sessions was cozying up to the Russians as well. Remember it was Al Franken who got him to admit it, resulting in his recusal from the Russia investigation and is why Trump now hates him.
