OP here. I majorly fucked up with the body of the original post. It is very badly worded. What I meant was obviously not that he gave birth but rather that he looks good for his age considering what can be the rigors of being a father. I like the idea of his having 37 children though. He must be exhausted!

He’s an actor whose livelihood requires those pecs and abs, even more than your standard hunk. So it’s not as impressive as it would be for an accountant in his late thirties with a couple kids he has to shuffle to and from daycare. That body pays the mortgage, and so he has it and will try to keep it as long as he can.

Plus, adding on to what r8 said, he has access to the best trainers, nutritionists etc. something most of us don’t.

His character Thad is weirdly nuanced, he acts like a douchebag bully in front of his teammates but is really insecure, vulnerable and fragile on the inside. He is really attached to Alex and sometimes seems to want to be more than friends with him.
