Who was it?
Charlie Carver said a gay colleague slapped him for being "too effeminate"
by Anonymous | reply 113 | October 3, 2020 9:19 PM |
HUGE penis!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 1, 2020 7:03 PM |
Richard Simmons. He has since gone in to hiding.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 1, 2020 7:05 PM |
Wonder if his twin also has a huge cock
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 1, 2020 7:09 PM |
Verifcatia of huge cock?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 1, 2020 7:10 PM |
Whoever did needs to drop dead.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 1, 2020 7:11 PM |
If some stupid piece of shit EVER slapped me, I would be going to jail because I would slice their fucking throat.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 1, 2020 7:11 PM |
Miss Jim Parsons, who loathes men who aren't butch.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 1, 2020 7:11 PM |
I’m picturing Leslie Jordan slapping him and saying “Butch it up queen”.
Heh heh
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 1, 2020 7:11 PM |
Colton and he would have been costars around this time...
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 1, 2020 7:17 PM |
Man up you big Mary !
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 1, 2020 7:17 PM |
Colton and he would have been costars around this time...
Watch what you say. Watch. What. You. Muthafuckin'. Say.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 1, 2020 7:19 PM |
I know it would be a big stretch for colleague and the time but given what transpired with Nicolette Sheridan my guess would be Marc Cherry during Desperate Housewives.
Or if it's Teen Wolf then JR Bourne.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 1, 2020 7:27 PM |
"Miss Jim Parsons, who loathes men who aren't butch."
If this is true (which I don't think it is), then Miss Parsons is certainly lacking self-awareness.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 1, 2020 7:32 PM |
So THAT’s the bad blood between Charlie Carver and Shawn Pyfrom!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 1, 2020 7:33 PM |
His Insta:
When we endeavored ourselves to The Boys in the Band in 2017, I anticipated the hard work, good times, and a shared sense of purpose.
Endeavored doesn't mean what he thinks it means. He may have been playing himself in Boys.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 1, 2020 8:10 PM |
Where's the cock?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 1, 2020 8:17 PM |
I remember his coming out caption was a little "I'm studying English literature but I've yet to master the basics of the English language."
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 1, 2020 8:18 PM |
He seems like a sweet simpleton. I don’t find him hot at all.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 1, 2020 8:18 PM |
He's a Rhodes Scholar!
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 1, 2020 8:36 PM |
He is not particularly effeminate, but when you are a self loathing gay you probably see in everybody what you try to hide
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 1, 2020 8:39 PM |
He was grabbing packages at the Emmys. He DID need to tone it down.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 1, 2020 8:42 PM |
I've heard that Jim Parsons is a decent guy, I don't think it's him
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 1, 2020 8:45 PM |
I wouldn't think it was Tuc.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 1, 2020 8:46 PM |
It was Robin.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 1, 2020 8:47 PM |
Super butch Andrew Rannells, that cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 1, 2020 8:52 PM |
That was several years ago (i think Carver was not even out), so it's clear that it was not any of his current show colleagues
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 1, 2020 8:52 PM |
Ahem, forgotten me? I slapped that little ginger weasal into the middle of the lane
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 1, 2020 9:01 PM |
Then it's fitting that M got anal cancer.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 1, 2020 9:46 PM |
JR Bourne is a good guess if it is one of his Teen Wolf costars.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 1, 2020 9:49 PM |
If Bourne is on the left, I don't think it's him. He's very fond of Marys.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 1, 2020 9:50 PM |
I will never get the need to protect people like this. Fuck 'em. Name Names!!!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 1, 2020 9:56 PM |
I will never get the need to protect people like this. Fuck 'em. Name Names!!!
You realize he is saying this for publicity, right?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 1, 2020 9:57 PM |
R32, it's not getting that much publicity. Try again.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 1, 2020 10:19 PM |
Doug Savant
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 1, 2020 10:25 PM |
I don't know who Charlie Carver is.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 1, 2020 10:33 PM |
Imagine trying to prove your point about someone being too effeminate by slapping them.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 1, 2020 10:33 PM |
I bet it was Keahu Kahuanui. They had all those sex scenes together but they don't seem to follow each other or stay in touch like the rest of the Teen Wolf fandom. I don't think it was Colton. They're quite friendly on Instagram.
Also Keahu still seems closeted to this day. I wonder who he thinks he is deceiving
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 1, 2020 10:46 PM |
Charlie we know you're here. Just tell us this guy's name and sign your post Loretta.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 1, 2020 11:00 PM |
Keanu.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 1, 2020 11:00 PM |
It says at the end of the article that the person that slapped him wasn't another actor.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 1, 2020 11:36 PM |
Jeff Davis is not an actor.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 1, 2020 11:41 PM |
^ Maybe someone like Andy Cohen?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 1, 2020 11:42 PM |
I would give him such a blow job his eyes will roll back in his head. I'd keep him busy for days.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 1, 2020 11:53 PM |
I want to see this big dong
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 1, 2020 11:57 PM |
Keahu's career hasn't exactly been on fire lately.
Well, there are slaps and there are slaps, and coke and pills don't bring out the best in closeted little-dicked self-haters.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 2, 2020 12:02 AM |
Snagglepuss.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 2, 2020 12:06 AM |
I’m thinking the other actor was Ian Harding.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 2, 2020 12:18 AM |
Or, Ben Barnes
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 2, 2020 12:23 AM |
Yet he doesn't mention that Doug Savant slapped him for not being effeminate enough.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 2, 2020 12:25 AM |
I’m thinking the other actor was Ian Harding.
As was previously stated the person who slapped him was not an actor. 🙄
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 2, 2020 12:54 AM |
He stated it was a coworker. He did say the guy was or was not an actor.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 2, 2020 1:01 AM |
Haven't seen the film, but today on Tamron Hall he didn't come across anywhere near butch.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 2, 2020 1:07 AM |
He did say the guy was or was not an actor.
So he admitted that it was "anyone".
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 2, 2020 1:18 AM |
But was he VICIOUSLY slapped?
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 2, 2020 1:37 AM |
Update: 10/1/20: Charlie Carver reached out to us to clarify that the person involved was not an actor or co-star, but was someone he’d worked with prior
Jeff Davis? He looks like he could throw a mean slap.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 2, 2020 1:39 AM |
Or if it's Teen Wolf then JR Bourne.
JR was my first thought too.
I bet it was Keahu Kahuanui. They had all those sex scenes together but they don't seem to follow each other or stay in touch like the rest of the Teen Wolf fandom
Keahu got a raw deal from the show and it's fans. I don't really blame him for being bitter.
Jeff Davis? He looks like he could throw a mean slap.
If he still looks like this....👇🏼
by Anonymous | reply 57 | October 2, 2020 2:55 AM |
Could've also been a high-as-a-kite Tyler Posey angry at himself for being in the closet and dealing with it by lashing out at others.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 2, 2020 3:19 AM |
No. Tyler Posey is never less than frisky.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | October 2, 2020 3:20 AM |
R58 Posey was never subtle about being bi.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 2, 2020 3:21 AM |
To repeat- Update: 10/1/20: Charlie Carver reached out to us to clarify that the person involved was not an actor or co-star, but was someone he’d worked with prior.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 2, 2020 4:21 AM |
R61 then i'd guess Marc Cherry.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 2, 2020 4:25 AM |
Maybe it was Dylan Sprayberry. He looks like a slapper.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | October 2, 2020 4:25 AM |
R63 more than Cody???
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 2, 2020 4:46 AM |
R61, I could see Marc Cherry.
Whoever it was, he didn't immediately get into a fight or knock them out so I'd guess the person was someone who was more powerful than he was so he just "took" the slap. Saying he would name him was his only defense.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 2, 2020 4:53 AM |
I would think it would be good practice to not go after a twin, if anyone’s going to have a built in alley and someone who’s always going to back them up it’s a twin. I hope his brother went after the slapper with him and fucked them up.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | October 2, 2020 5:11 AM |
God, these posts are now proof that not only do DLers not read the article, they don't even read other posts which summarise the article. Thanks for trying, R41/R51/R56/R61
by Anonymous | reply 67 | October 2, 2020 8:38 AM |
Marc Cherry likes to lay his unwanted fat hands on others. It wouldn't surprise me at all were it him.
Marc Cherry likes to lay his unwanted fat hands on others.
Here here!
by Anonymous | reply 69 | October 2, 2020 10:58 AM |
Don't they realize when they make statements like this, it throws a shadow over everyone they worked with ? Either name names or shut the fuck up.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | October 2, 2020 11:32 AM |
From the article;
Recalling the night, he says the other person, who Carver had worked with (albeit not on screen), told him three times that his acting was effeminate
It wasnt an actor and so likely isnt someone with any sort of public profile, so probably not a lot of point in naming him as nobody will know who it is
by Anonymous | reply 71 | October 2, 2020 12:33 PM |
Of course people will know. For a co-worker (who is not an actor) to critique his acting, it has to be a director/showrunner/exec producer. It's not likely to be a director if it was a TV gig (they don't have time to coach actors).
by Anonymous | reply 72 | October 2, 2020 4:21 PM |
Somebody should spank Charlie’s bare ass.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | October 2, 2020 4:22 PM |
I'm listening to Charlie and Zach on this video. Two things are immediately apparent: Charlie is not "too effeminate." He is just effeminate enough. And Zach is even more effeminate, gayvoicewise.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | October 2, 2020 4:30 PM |
He has such a sweet innocent face, I can't understand someone wanting to slap him. His buttcheeks, playfully, I can understand.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | October 2, 2020 4:43 PM |
I would squeeze his cheeks. His ass cheeks to be precise.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 2, 2020 4:56 PM |
Charlie who?
by Anonymous | reply 77 | October 2, 2020 5:01 PM |
Was it a bitch slap?
👋
by Anonymous | reply 78 | October 2, 2020 5:22 PM |
Am I the only one who don't find him hot at all? He's average at best.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | October 2, 2020 5:53 PM |
R79 Everyone doesn't necessarily need to be smouldering to be attractive to me. I think he's young, cute, and quite wholesome looking. This can be very appealing on its own for me. I suspect some bottoms may not find him butch enough, but I think tops appreciate him especially.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | October 2, 2020 6:12 PM |
Marc Cherry likes to lay his unwanted fat hands on others.
He can slide his greasy little sausage fingers up my miniskirt any time he wants. As long as we talk about me.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | October 2, 2020 6:20 PM |
Cherry would fit (it's clear that the guy was in a power position because if not the reaction would be very different) but Cherry is out not a closet case.
I don't think i'ts keahu neither, he seems a nice guy and he even used humour to deal with the fact that Davis and the show treated him like shit
by Anonymous | reply 82 | October 2, 2020 6:23 PM |
Nowhere in the article it says the slapper was closeted.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | October 2, 2020 6:40 PM |
From the Variety Article:
Five years ago, Charlie Carver, who appears in the upcoming Netflix film “The Boys in the Band,” was at an Emmy party when a gay man he worked with chastised him three separate times for acting too effeminate.
“I was told that I needed to ‘get it under control’ around people in the business,” Carver says, sharing the story for the first time with Variety.
Later, while Carver was waiting at the valet, he ran into his co-worker again and asked him for clarification. Instead, the man slapped Carver across the face. “It wasn’t playful but intentional, pointed and meant to be instructive. A slap,” says the actor. “I told him that if he ever touched me again, I would name him.”
As upsetting as the night was, Carver, now 32, says, “That was the moment when I said to myself, ‘I can’t do this. I cannot police myself in that way.’”
A few months later, in January 2016, he came out publicly in a series of Instagram posts.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | October 2, 2020 6:42 PM |
I would have slapped him for his awful acting.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | October 2, 2020 6:43 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 86 | October 2, 2020 7:16 PM |
The colleague was right to slap him.
by Anonymous | reply 87 | October 2, 2020 7:20 PM |
R87 And YOU deserve to be punched, Sir.
by Anonymous | reply 88 | October 2, 2020 7:40 PM |
The colleague meant well.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | October 2, 2020 7:43 PM |
Slapping is effeminate. The colleague should have punched him if he wanted to make his obnoxious point.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | October 2, 2020 7:57 PM |
You don't damage the goods, fool.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | October 2, 2020 8:04 PM |
Well at least it wasn’t a sock full of oranges.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | October 2, 2020 8:11 PM |
Seems like something I could well imagine happening, especially from an uptight closet case. It's terribly disrespectful, and unprofessional, and even more egregious against a minor. If it happened on set at [italic] Desperate Housewives [/italic] I'm assuming Carver was quite young.
Whether the Bitch who slapped him "meant well", it's an unnatural demand of a young gayling, and reeks of the 50s mindset. I'm glad he came out shortly thereafter. I would have named that cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | October 2, 2020 8:14 PM |
I would have cut that cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | October 2, 2020 8:18 PM |
Not naming the slapper could mean he (still?) has some power in the industry and Carver is afraid of being blacklisted.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | October 2, 2020 8:19 PM |
R95 Fair enough, and I get that.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | October 2, 2020 8:20 PM |
Slapping is effeminate. Men punch.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | October 2, 2020 8:23 PM |
Gotta love the oh-so-macho dudes saying he should be punched for being "effeminate"
Who needs homophobic bully straight guys when we have self-hating gays?

Just one queen trying to bully another.

There would have been backlash if he dealt with it badly. And he ended up working bts making costumes for Teen Wolf.

by Anonymous | reply 104 | October 3, 2020 4:31 PM |
No, r104, he does not.
by Anonymous | reply 105 | October 3, 2020 4:33 PM |
Why slap him? Just replace him with the straight Carver twin and voila! problem solved
by Anonymous | reply 106 | October 3, 2020 4:35 PM |
Anyone who bothered to read the synopsis posted above would see that the alleged bitch slap was from a non-actor after a prolonged confrontation that Carver had at an Emmys after-party in 2016. Between the alcohol involved in the confrontation and the setting, I would say it was probably some no-name showrunner from 'Teen Wolf'. Case closed...let's move on.
by Anonymous | reply 107 | October 3, 2020 4:57 PM |
I would say it was probably some no-name showrunner from 'Teen Wolf'. Case closed...let's move on.
I don't think Charlie would come back to Teen Wolf with Colton if it was Jeff.
by Anonymous | reply 108 | October 3, 2020 5:04 PM |
Just because it wasn't an actor doesn't mean it was a "no name"
by Anonymous | reply 109 | October 3, 2020 6:12 PM |
Not a "screen actor". Could be stage actor. But its more likely a producer or director.
by Anonymous | reply 110 | October 3, 2020 6:28 PM |
Copying from upthread.
To repeat- Update: 10/1/20: Charlie Carver reached out to us to clarify that the person involved was not an actor or co-star, but was someone he’d worked with prior.
Not an actor - TV, stage or otherwise.
by Anonymous | reply 111 | October 3, 2020 8:54 PM |
The person who slapped him obviously saw potential in Charlie as an actor. I wonder if the slapper was fucking Charlie as well, maybe squiring him around town to various parties...

Jack McBrayer from "30 Rock"
