Shawn Mendes rips off Harry Styles style for upcoming album

Given the number of people Styles has ripped off, from Bowie to Prince, this seems fair.

Well, that's pop music for you.

Artists always biting and copying each other.

You know, if he had more talent, he wouldn’t need to release so many thirst traps.

More importantly, he's ripped off Harry's sound. The video teaser for his new song sounds EXACTLY like Harry's music style. He knew he couldn't release another one of his tired guitar songs, so he decided to steal from Styles.

It's amusing to see that some people believe that not only does Harry Styles have an original musical style but that he's responsible for the music that comes out under his name.

The new song feels unfinished, but there’s a decent melody in there somewhere. His voice just gets more grating as he gets older.

He looks ridiculous

He's completely bland and sexless. I don't get how anyone would be attracted to him and his songs are mediocre at best.

As an eldergay, I vividly remember the old Make-It-Or Break-It segments on American Bandstand. Inevitably, the song's fate was determined by its "danceability."

Sean Mendes has yet to make a danceable record. He needs to drop the constant teen angst bullshit and make a record that isn't about the heartbreak of love lost.

Leave the drama queen lyrics behind and make a decent record, for God's sake. If necessary, contact Harry's writers for "Adore You" and "Watermelon Sugar" to see how it's done.
