Very from PSB never gets old for me. Great from top to bottom.

R1 - snicker - I see what you did there. Clever.

Very is a fantastic album.

Go West is one of the best cover versions ever.

I never understood why they had such a long/successful career?

Neil can't sing and the music is bland, bordering on monotonous.

That song never fails to make me happy.

I really loved the last 15 - 20 seconds of the music. Best part of the song.

R4 - bland? Their remix of Where the Streets Have No Name is perfection.

They had a lot of great songs. Bland they are not. Can he belt out a tune? Not really.

But bland has been given a whole new definition with Drake and his ilk.

There’s “smart campy” (“Where the Streets Have No Name”) and there’s “dumb campy” which is PSB’s “Go West.”

R8 - PSB made bland a brand.

Great songs? YES! But they were bland as fuck and that's what many liked about them. Also Tennant had a very average voice at best - similar to Janet Jackson.

Many Post Rock and New Wave bands weren't known for their vocals. The Cars, Gary Numan, Talking Heads, Devo, Oingo Boingo and more. However, they were all great in their own ways.
