It wasn't the notion of bringing her up to Boseman's salary, he wanted her in the film, she had a quote that the studio wouldn't give her. Studios always have arbitrary reasons on why not to pay actors what they want. This isn't a Terrence Howard wanting to makes as much as Robert Downey Jr. situation. Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence were paid less than Christian Bale, Jeremy Renner and Bradley Cooper for "American Hustle". Adams tried to negotiate to get the same amounts, but the studio wouldn't relent. By that time Adams already had more Oscar nominations than any of the men and Lawrence. I don't see how it can be justified that she didn't deserve parity.

For the first "Bad Moms" film Mila Kunis Kristen Bell, Jada Pinkett Smith and Christina Applegate were going to be paid more than third Bad Mom Kathryn Hahn, so they donated a portion of their salaries to bring her up to their salaries.

Sienna Miller’s biggest role was taking on Rupert Murdoch and her bringing down The News Of The World over phone hacking charges.

21 Bridges was actually good. A great action movie. Never a boring moment.

It’s about bankability or how much weight your name holds. Chris Evans name holds a lot because he is Captain America. Chris Hemsworth also has mostly flops outside of Thor but he still gets many roles and paid millions because of his name.

Christian Bale SHOULD have made the most on Hustle, and he did. Lawrence has no business crying about how much she was paid for Hustle. She has like 17 minutes of screen time in a 2 and half hour film.

OP, other actors don't do this because they didn't come to Holywood to be a charity. This is nice and all but really not the actor's responsibility. The studios should be pushing of this. You also have the issue of popularity. No one really cares if Sienna Miller is in a movie or not. People may notice if Chadwick or another Marvel hero was in one. That is their value. The NBA isn't taking pay cuts for the WNBA. Separate companies but somewhat the same premise. You are paid based on popularity.

I think the pay should be close to equal based on popularity, status in the film, and career longevity.
