Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a Selfish Disgrace
There I said it.
This woman knew full well that she could end up dying while a Republican was in office, but put her own desire for power and control over ensuring that Obama had the chance to appoint a liberal Justice.
Now, Trump is likely going to appoint yet ANOTHER conservative Justice to the bench, and this time it will have long lasting implications on the direction of this country.
Ruth is responsible for this. While I commend her service and unrelenting passion for advancing gender equality, her legacy has been tarnished by her self-serving refusal to step down and retire when she should have.

Um, okay.
McConnell ruthlessly blocked Obama's first SC choice in the winter of 2016.
You seriously think McConnell wouldn't have blocked a second Obama SC nomination?
If so I've got a bridge I'd like to sell you.

Being labeled the savior of women's rights went to a her head and gave her an ego. She became a superstar of sorts for what she did for feminism and developed the narcissism of a superstar. She was gonna cling to the fame until her last dying breath, and she did.

They should have done this while the Dems had the WH and the Senate, but they were too busy doing something, exactly? Can't remember what. Definitely not helping people with underwater mortgages.

R3 if Trump is doing it and he's a cancer why not Ruth

This is absolutely true, she should have retired no later than the first half of Obama's second term, when the Democrats still controlled the Senate. She was already in her early 80s and had health problems.

She had a vagina and lots of clerks, but she couldn't live forever.

I blame Bernie Sanders for all this shit. Had he been more definite with supporting Hillary she'd be president and the Supreme Court would be 6-3 our way. Ugh, but the past cannot be changed. We gotta pack the court when the Republicans are defeated at the ballot box.

R2, Obama had a Dem Senate until 2014. That's how he got Kagan & Sotomayor onto the Supreme Court.
So if Ginsburg had stepped down during Obama's first term, he could have gotten a 3rd Justice onto the Court.

R9, there were a confluence of factors that led to Hillary’s demise, Bernie being one of MANY. I wouldn’t pin her loss on him alone. She was a terrible candidate, horribly condescending, and behaved as though she was entitled to the Presidency.
For many, a vote for Trump was a vote AGAINST Hillary and Bill. The Democrats seriously underestimated how unlikeable Hillary was, but we’ll never know if another Democratic candidate could have defeated Trump in 2016.

[quote] There I said it.
Quit trying to make this your "thing".
It's a limp stab of a catchphrase that won't catch on or endear you to others.
