This was obviously a political decision to try to make trump look like he “saved” football. The same people screaming that they miss when “sports were sports and not political” pushed for this. Will be interesting to see the mental gymnastics these people do when they players all wear black lives matter stuff on their equipment.
We have a very sick country. Damaged beyond repair, IMO.

It’s obviously a decision to make Trump look good in critical swing states. the problem is there is no real way to fight back against this type of crude political calculation
