"Cheer" actor solicited 13 year old twins boys
Just found this in NY Magazine. If this has already dropped, blame it on the shitty SEARCH function, which found nothing.
I've never watched this show, but it revolves around a cheerleading team - not sure if it's high school or college. I only skimmed the article but the guy, Jerry Harris, zeroed in on these twins when they were about 12 after meeting them at a real cheer competition. Before you can say PEDO, he's grooming them online - wanting dick and "booty" pics. There is much more sordid and creepy behavior, involving arranging meetups, blackmail threats, attempted forced BJ's, etc. It was all secret until Mom found the messages to her sons. Dun dun dun!

This is pretty predatory:
When the boys were around 13 or 14 years old, Harris “would repeatedly hug” them at cheer competitions. Harris’s misconduct progressed further, as he “exploited the fact that Plaintiffs were openly gay,” the suit further claimed. When they were around 13 or 14, Harris messaged them demanding that they “‘send nudes,’ expressly demand that these young boys send Harris child pornography, including pictures of their naked bodies, penises and buttocks.”

I've NEVER heard of that show or the actor. I thought you were talking about CHEERS (1982-1993).

USA Today dropped more info from this case:
According to federal records, Harris admitted he solicited and received explicit messages from at least 10-15 individuals he knew were minors, had sex with a 15-year-old at a competition in 2019 and offered a 17-year-old money in exchange for nude photos.- The FBI arrested him and the U.S. attorney's office charged with producing child pornography.
- The investigation started when the mother of underaged twin boys contacted authorities about Harris contacting the boys on snapchat and asking for nude videos and asking for oral sex in person at a cheerleading event
- The family is suing their cheer organizations for negligence and failures to protect the boys from abuse
- While investigating that authorities found more cases of Harris asking minors on Snapchat for nude pictures and approaching minors for sex at cheerleading events
- He paid a minor for nude pictures
- Five minors say they had sexual contact with Harris
