HHS Communications Official Pushes Bizarre Conspiracies and Warns of Armed Revolt

I read about this yesterday in the WP; it just goes to show how tits up we are at the moment that this guy goes in this just bizarre rant & it barely makes the news

yes, but he did this on Sunday - a typically slow day - on social media. It initially showed up in the WP as a column on Monday. Back in the quaint old pre-Dump days, a a high level government official have a mental break on social media and threatening violence would've trended immediately.

Knowing that there is no chance he will be forced to resign is a given.

CNN used to have him on regularly as a Trump defender, it was obvious he was nuts then. He's a Roger Stone crony, so that's really all you need to know.

Top HHS spokesperson Michael Caputo called an emergency staff meeting on Tuesday to apologize for leveling a series of false accusations on Facebook Live over the weekend, according to three people with knowledge of the meeting.

Caputo told staffers that his remarks — which included unfounded allegations the Centers for Disease Control was harboring a “resistance unit” — reflected poorly on HHS’ communications office. He also blamed his recent behavior on a combination of physical health issues and the toll of fielding death threats against his family.

Voting or supporting trump is essentially like hiring a mobster to do your dirty work. He and his corrupt bully cohorts are using dictator tactics to force a rogue agenda that does not represent the beliefs of the majority of Americans. Trump rules over a gang of incompetent thugs who lie and threaten to get their way, enabled by a poorly educated duped base that cheers on the underhanded tactics. NY Senator Schumer and others called for HHS Secretary Alex Azar to resign if he continues to support this kind of behavior among his staff.

Wasn't Alex Azar another religious kook? I remember some comments on his weird looking Children of the Corn daughters.

All these foolish yes men are just sucking up to sleazy trump. They say what he wants them to say, whether they believe it or not. Then they come to believe it because they're in the cult.

I believe Caputo will now take a leave of absence from HHS. He apologized to his staff and claimed none of what he said was true (yet it somehow seems to align exactly with Trump's message.

Those comments are Qanon Talking points. I wouldn't be surprised if he has dipped his toes into Qanon sites and thought that dog whistling to them would help Trump.
