With whom will he “negotiate” this?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 14, 2020 1:45 PM |
Satan? Putin?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | September 14, 2020 1:45 PM |
Aside from this not being possible - the friggin’ guy forgets he lost by more than 3M votes the last time and he certainly has not won of any more people. This whole lot of idiots needs to go away NOW!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 14, 2020 1:51 PM |
It’s fascinating how Trump has never heard of a single thing in the Constitution. Maybe he thinks he can get the Supreme Court to rule that the Constitution is invalid? Or Congress?
He must be really terrified. What does he think will be done to him if he’s out of office? Just go live somewhere with no extradition treaty. Is he aware he’s out of money and can’t do that?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | September 14, 2020 1:52 PM |
He knows he can't, but it's what he wants. Not because he wants to do any work but because he's terrified that they'll prosecute him and his whole family after his term is done.

Biden Creates Legal War Room, Preparing for a Big Fight Over Voting
With two former solicitors general and hundreds of lawyers, the Biden campaign is bracing for an extended legal battle and hoping to maintain trust in the electoral process.

I think he's just trolling the media to get them spun up over *this* rather than talking about more serious consequential issues like, the pandemic, the economy, the fires out west....have I left anything out?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 14, 2020 2:01 PM |
Yes, he’s trolling. It’s so his supporters can laugh about “libtards” getting all upset over mere constitutional violations. They like to feel superior that way.
I agree he will cry foul, fake, rigged elections when he loses because he likes to create chaos. I’m glad Biden is preparing for this. We can’t risk another bs Florida/Supreme Court scenario.

In the words of Will Smith in his role as Hancock: Bitch can try.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 14, 2020 2:11 PM |
Is he going to govern from Hell? Because I really don't see that fat fuck lasting 2 more years and that's if, a big if, the 'rona doesn't get him before then.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | September 14, 2020 2:15 PM |

I think *everyone* is preparing for this, which in one way seems mind boggling that everyone is girding their loins against the President trying to subvert democracy - but here we are - but it's good that they are trying to prepare people so Dump & Barr aren't in a position to capitalize on the confusion & chaos

Ooh, JESUS PETE. Just throw that fat fuck down the basement stairs and then turn a flamethrower on him for good measure. Sick of his baloney-like face, his monotonous voice, his stupidity, his sippy-cup lips. And his rampant mental illness. He has NO BUSINESS BEING WHERE HE IS RIGHT NOW.

"With two former solicitors general and hundreds of lawyers, the Biden campaign is bracing for an extended legal battle and hoping to maintain trust in the electoral process."
Are these the same legal "experts" MSNBC uses all the time, the same idiots who have been predicting Donald Trump's imminent demise since January of 2017. Malcolm Nance comes to mind.

He did it to piss off everyone and create outrage. Judging by this thread it worked.

To R17's point...I'm still here - eight years of Obama and almost four years of tRump!

Didn’t Cheney get a new heart? He’ll live to be 120.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 14, 2020 2:39 PM |
R8, have you left anything out? I’m sure you have. Like the thousand million billion other laws he’s broken, including some we haven’t even heard of yet.
Seriously, has anyone ever broken as many laws as this guy? Even mobsters don’t flaunt everyone and everything because they don’t want attention. He never pays anyone and has thousands of lawsuits against him. His arrogance is breathtaking. He breaks laws like he breathes.
How much you want to bet he’s had a bunch of people beaten up, threatened and frightened to within an inch of their lives, everyone from Ivanka’s teenage boyfriends to ex-girlfriends and hookers, to contractors that want to get paid. He’s like Satan in a red tie.
Michael Cohen probably wasn’t the guy who did the dirty work. They probably had hot and cold running gangsters. That won’t come out until he’s out of office or maybe dead.
One of his problems now is he hasn’t got the brains to run an operation like that himself. Michael Cohen is out, Jeffrey Epstein is dead, Ghislane Maxwells is out of commission. Paul Manafort is out, at least for now.
If he ever tries to handle it himself, it will backfire. He’s not smart enough. If Putin is helping, the minute he’s out of power, it’s over. He may only be helping Trump directly with cash, not personnel. He pulled out of the NRA and they collapsed. How long will he continue to fund a losing proposition?
Trump’s campaign’s estimated haul last month was $90 million at the end of the month, but the final official number was over $200 million. Where did that last minute money come from? Not Trump. And he’s pulling it in hand over fist, so why doesn’t he have any money? Blackmail payments?

He's riling up his voters to still bother to go vote in November. This is what they may be responsive to. Then if he squeaks a win*, and we get out 'fake win' narrative because of mail-in ballots, he spends years growing American division even more. If he can create even the mirage of even a sort of cold civil war, that's arguably plenty of distraction enough to keep opponents distracted or wary enough to not flatly arrest and jail him. Only then in 2023-24 would he hold the country hostage to face the most amenable of Democratic leaders and tell them that they need to permit (however the method) him another 4 years, then he pushes harder for an increasingly totalitarian dynasty etc. Does it have to go that far? Is there any good chance of it going that far? No, but he shows himself narcissistically willing to push as far as he can get, and either he buckles but ignores that he did, or opponents buckle and Trump's cult crows, mutates, and solidifies.
*seemingly only possible through (disregarding anything illicit) depressed Democratic vote turnout, keeping his base, and largely keeping his 2016 contented states; its almost impossible for him to win popular vote and the losing gap may be larger than 2016
He's mostly a moron with just enough intelligence to keep basically operational and match together basic concepts, but he happily allows a crowd around him that is willing to take things a next step into fascism of whatever sorts. Now there's more around us that are willing to go there than we'd ever guess, but where past Republican tactics planted the seed and began to water it, Trump is giving it fine soil and letting it start to sprout. I don't care about your opinion on Biden for ("He'll save America's soul!") or against ("He is a Republican in all but title.") him, but make sure that you emphasize supporting people that are not just anti-Trump or pro-decency or anti-Trump-family, but anti-fascism, even to being aware of and against the coded signs of it. Even in the most anti-Trump outcome this year - both a clear popular and electoral vote against him as the party heads get him to shut up and leave - there's now a large cohort of citizens that have become more radical than even the Tea Party.

Except it shows how inferior and childish they are.

Trump clearly thinks he is winning a second term if he is already talking about a third term.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 14, 2020 3:56 PM |
Obviously they have an agenda or they wouldn't be floating this idea out there over and over.

Precisely.
The 'immunity' of the President is the only reason he is fighting to get re-elected. The fact that America is currently a dumpster fire is irrelevant to him.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 14, 2020 4:22 PM |
Maybe spend more time thinking about negotiating a plea agreement, you fat fuck.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 14, 2020 8:21 PM |
You have to wonder about the dopes and babies, or what he calls the military brass. Don't they too take an oath to defend the Constitution of United States too. And I'd say it's within the purview of the National Guard to see that he doesn't get a third term.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 14, 2020 8:53 PM |
I refuse to believe this story because I refuse to believe Trump used a four-syllable word in front of a crowd of deplorables.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 15, 2020 7:44 PM |
R29, they're supposed to fight enemies both foreign and domestic. It isn't hyperbole: Trump does in fact threaten the survival of this country. He is an enemy of the state - clearly. He has no respect for the constitution or institutions that have stood for over 200 years. He and his garbage cockroach supporters can go find an island where they can live in the filth created by an orange, corrupt Neo-Nazi who thinks anyone who criticizes him should be jailed or killed.

This is his way of pushing back against the growing likelihood that he’ll be a one term president. It’s classic trump.
“One term president? How about a THREE term president?” It’s just part of his MO that he doubles down boastfully when things are looking grim.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 16, 2020 1:13 AM |
His feeling "owed" an additional term exposes his narcissism nicely. Donny two scoops is entitled to three terms, but everyone else only get two.

He must really be afraid of the lawsuits that await him. He hates the White House. He wants outta there to trade Melania in for another tit job beauty contest winner, make some millions. But he can't leave now.
He sort of already in prison.

A loser like Trump wouldn't be able to negotiate his way to the bathroom.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | September 19, 2020 6:27 AM |
Let's oust Trump and create a whole division of the DOJ dedicated to investigating and prosecuting the shit he and his cronies have pulled. Also, let's get rid of McConnell and give the GOP enough of a bloody nose that they think twice about enabling the next nutjob.
