I'm watching the Strike tv series, based on the books she wrote under a nom de plume. I feel so dirty that I'm supporting her and hope nobody breaks my door down while I'm watching them, but I just couldn't resist.

Love it!

by Anonymousreply 2September 13, 2020 12:03 AM

LOVE this! Not on twitter so I can only read so far, but the response seems very favorable.

LITERAL VIOLENCE!

anti-Trans activists have erected the billboard

by Anonymousreply 5September 13, 2020 12:05 AM

Pro- women activists have erected it. When they did this in a train station in Edinburgh it was taken down. The transport authority lied and said there had been complaints but there hadn't been any. Though there were hundreds of complaints when it was taken down.

Can you imagine trying to silence this? Un-be-fucking-lievable. How did we get to the point that we find this fascist behavior acceptable?

R6 after one complaint, the sign is coming down.

But what about the rights of the muggles? Or should that be Muggles?

by Anonymousreply 8September 13, 2020 12:21 AM

He should join a reality show with Kevin Spacey and Anthony Rapp. They all have to live in a house for a week.

One complaint can shut down free speech in Canada? Remember when it was the right who wanted that?

by Anonymousreply 10September 13, 2020 12:25 AM

I've never seen a group of people appropriate oppression so willingly and gladly.

by Anonymousreply 11September 13, 2020 12:25 AM

R11 it's insane, right? It's like up-is-down land in their brains.

by Anonymousreply 12September 13, 2020 12:35 AM

R3 there's a lot of positive response and scattered throughout are enraged and "exhausted" posts from various stupid people repeating slogans and memes.

by Anonymousreply 13September 13, 2020 12:41 AM

Gasp!

by Anonymousreply 14September 13, 2020 10:18 PM

Right wing troll thread.

by Anonymousreply 15September 13, 2020 10:37 PM

That’s sad that any adult loves a children’s author enough to do this. I’m sick of people not reading real books.

by Anonymousreply 16September 13, 2020 10:38 PM

R15 hardly.
