The 80s had some pretty awesome songs from girls bands. It’s probability why the 90s had so many good girl bands. I recently saw this gender-bending Pointer Sisters video from 85 which is a really fun video for a really cool song.

Freestyle had a lot of girl groups in the mid to late 80s like Expose, Sweet Sensation, The Cover Girls, Company B. IN the 90s many of the girl groups were R and B like En Vogue, Jade, SWV, Brownstone, and TLC.
