File under Dems flipping the narrative: Dear DL Cunnies (speaking softly & gently while stroking the back of your heads as I ease this in real deep) after watching political narrative engineering for years, this C-19 attempt was predictable. This is the reason why many sites like CTH maintain a “pinned thread” on the White House COVID-19 response. This creates an disputable documented timeline to use to counter the lies. The time line was specifically created because we ALL knew the narrative engineers would attempt to weaponize the politics of the virus later in the election year. We also knew that the narrative engineers could count on the utter lack of institutional memory on liberal biased group-think websites like the DL. Since the narrative framers knew the psychology of their supporters they knew they could flip the script at a predetermined time and that's what they did! The "Trump Downplayed the C-19 Pandemic Threat" Is Just Another Dem Canard

So within hours of President Trump’s decision to restrict travel from China on Jan. 31, top Democrats and media figures immediately derided the move as unnecessary and xenophobic. So in January, February and March, 2020, the best political attack position was to say that President Trump was overreacting and hyping panic. Now in September 2020 the best political attack position is to say he down-played the danger. This was as predictable as the sunrise. The media hype around COVID-19 was/is a political weapon first and foremost. The leftists and their media scribes had a long-term plan to use the virus as a political weapon based on any position that President Trump would have taken. The Bob Woodward book is simply an exhibition in this type of purposeful narrative engineering. However, the American electorate are not stupid. Weeping and gnashing of liberal teeth and liberal tear baths start here:

Within hours of President Trump’s decision to restrict travel from China on Jan. 31, top Democrats and media figures immediately derided the move as unnecessary and xenophobic.
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden led the way, quickly attacking what he called Trump’s “record of hysteria, xenophobia and fear-mongering” after the travel restrictions were announced. A Jan. 31 article in The New York Times quoted epidemiologist Dr. Michael Osterholm as saying that Trump’s decision to restrict travel from China was “more of an emotional or political reaction.”
In March, another Democratic presidential candidate, Sen. Bernie Sanders, conspicuously insisted at a Fox News town hall that he wouldn’t consider closing the U.S. border to prevent the spread of coronavirus, before condemning what he called the president’s xenophobia. The overwhelming narrative was that President Trump’s proactive measures were fear-mongering and intended to produce panic.

Back in February, Trump could’ve addressed the nation on TV calmly explaining the virus and how we can fight it by wearing masks and social distancing. It could’ve been a great moment for him. It’s what Obama, Hillary, and Joe would’ve done. It could’ve gotten him re-elected too.
