Could this even get made today?
No, even though it was hilarious back in the day.

It was so ridiculous, it was funny for me. It wouldn't be made now. I hate this trend of every now self-defining minorities equating their historical struggle with that of women, gay men and black people.

I don't think so, OP.

Since its black dressing up as white ditzes, yes. But it would be a cable program skit.

It was so ridiculous and in such poor taste one just had to laugh.

Yes. Blacks can do whatever they want, in entertainment.

I love this movie. Terry Crews is so hilarious in it.

Why not? The other way around would be unacceptable but this is falls within the boundaries of pc.

I ain't trusting #metoo social media allegations without evidence.

Yes, it absolutely could be made today. White women do not have the same history as black people or black women. They aren't minorities in the least bit. White women are the most privileged women on the face of the earth.
So yes, this film absolutely could have a part 2 today. The only "outrage" would be from white racist right wing media and it would be false fake "outrage" which people would see it for what it is.
White women are not marginalized in anyway shape or form. Especially not with all of these Karens running around, and getting away with the bullshit they've been pulling.
I say make a part 2. I'd watch it.

I saw this film many, many years after it came out. I bought the dvd from a $5 bin at WalMart because I thought it would be funny to watch sometime. It sat on my shelf for several more years.
One night after coming home from a party where I got really stoned and did mushrooms, my partner went to bed and I decided I was too wired to sleep. I pulled this out and watched it until the sun came up. It blew my mind!

It’s a film made by black men making fun of white women. Not only would it get made today, it would win best picture at the Oscars!

LOL R11, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

as are white gay men

Absolutely this could get made in 2020. There's a new "Karen" movie about to go into production. So yes, white chicks could definitely get made today.
White people would at the theaters like gang busters to see this film.

Soul Man is the better example of a film that would not get made today. It wouldn’t have been able to come out in 2004 when White Chicks did either.

Busy Phillips and most of the cast recreated the film's iconic dance off scene on her show a while ago. Of course Jennifer Carpenter wasn't there, because she must think she's too big of a star now to be doing shit like this. Jaime King was injured or something so she's seen sitting on the chair in the background.
