Whether it is on your front lawn, your apartment window or a bumper sticker
You are voting for Biden, will you display a Biden-Harris sign
If you won't, why not?

Political signs are tacky. Look at the deplorables. Enough said.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | September 1, 2020 11:22 PM |
No need. It would be just another raindrop into the ocean where I live.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | September 1, 2020 11:23 PM |
I ordered mine 8/13 and my order is still processing. When I put it out I will spread hair gel and pink glitter on back so any Trumper that fucks with it gets glitter bombed. I am tempted to rub poison ivy leaves all over the sign too..

by Anonymous | reply 4 | September 1, 2020 11:25 PM |

There are no political signs in yards around me at all, and I’m in the suburbs of a battleground state. In fact THEE battleground state. I don’t want to antagonize my neighbors by being the only asshole with a sign out.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | September 1, 2020 11:27 PM |
Не́которые иностра́нцы ду́мают, что в Росси́и медве́ди хо́дят по у́лицам. Коне́чно, э́то непра́вда! Медве́ди живу́т в лесу́ и не лю́бят люде́й.

Mine is up and many neighbors have commented that they are so glad to see it!
by Anonymous | reply 8 | September 1, 2020 11:28 PM |
r6, grow some god damn balls.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | September 1, 2020 11:30 PM |
There is a legitimate threat of violence from Dumpsters and Boogalosers, they are *nuts*. I don't want my car keyed or rock thrown through my window.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 1, 2020 11:35 PM |
Yard signs are tacky, and my Mercedes has a no sticker rule. But I’m still voting Biden Harris if I have to CRAWL to the post office with my mail-in ballot.
Btw, fellow PA DL-ers, today I got an email that my ballot application is approved, as did my co worker, and next step is receiving the ballot. Time to VOTE.

[QUOTE] grow some god damn balls.
I have a pair. I also have something called taste.

R11 how about wearing a Biden-Harris button
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 1, 2020 11:39 PM |
r12, Yes, fighting for democracy is distasteful, wouldn't want to offend anyone.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | September 1, 2020 11:42 PM |
There are myriad ways to fight for democracy, R14.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 1, 2020 11:44 PM |
Yes, and I'm going to have to coat it in piss and glitter to deter Deplorables from stealing it.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | September 1, 2020 11:45 PM |
I think political signs, bumper stickers, and t-shirts of any kind are tacky.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 1, 2020 11:46 PM |
I've got a B/H bumper sticker, Biden mask & I am awaiting my yard sign (Biden gear is slow!). The Yard Sign Troll convinced me that candidate enthusiasm is measured by the amount of candidate gear one displays. Unfortunately, I don't live in a battleground state so my enthusiasm doesn't really count to YST.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | September 1, 2020 11:48 PM |
Biden just raked in $300,000,000 in August. He is welcome to pay me a chunk of that to rent space in my yard for his sign.

[QUOTE] how about wearing a Biden-Harris button
Why on earth would I walk around with a garish campaign button pinned to my clothes? What do I look like, some bedlamite? Maybe if I attended a rally, but certainly not in my daily travels.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 1, 2020 11:48 PM |
Fuck no.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | September 2, 2020 12:01 AM |
I have one and proudly display it!
by Anonymous | reply 23 | September 2, 2020 12:38 AM |
Mine too, r11. Actually, I had Obama bumper stickers in both 2008 and 2012, but not since (for Hillary). As someone upthread said, Dump supporters are mean and batty.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | September 2, 2020 12:42 AM |
R10, same boat here!
Many of the people in my town have the Trump signs. A couple of people who live near us have them. My husband and I have flown under the radar mostly since moving in, I don’t want my dog to get poisoned or house to be egged.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 2, 2020 12:43 AM |
I just put my bumper sticker on my car this weekend
by Anonymous | reply 26 | September 2, 2020 12:50 AM |
R11 here. I’m working from home, since March. No one except my cats would see my button, and I’m pretty sure they know who I’m voting for. Would it influence them when it comes time for them to complete their mail-in ballot? Hard to say.
Just effing with you, Deplorables.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | September 2, 2020 1:25 AM |
No, I'm in a loft apartment with a view of the windowless upper stories of a commercial building across the street. As pigeons can't vote, there would be no point.
If my mother chooses to replace her stolen Biden sign, I'll be booby trapping her yard to make the next deplorable who tries vandalizing it pay in blood.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 2, 2020 1:34 AM |
There are confederate flags displayed in my neighborhood plus a slew of confederate flags in effect (American Flag + Trump). Thus, I do not feel safe displaying pro-Biden paraphernalia.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | September 2, 2020 1:53 AM |
anyone else?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 2, 2020 10:26 PM |
I had a Mayor Pete sign on my car. I’m voting for Biden but he doesn’t inspire me enough for a bumper sticker. I’m surrounded by Black Lives Matter signs, so you all know I live in a wealthy enclave. Jealous, bitches?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | September 2, 2020 10:48 PM |
Because I live in another country.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | September 2, 2020 10:59 PM |
Yes. As someone who has run for office, I can tell you that signs are a necessary evil and all candidates hate dealing with them ESPECIALLY finding people willing to take one and actually put it up. I wish they would all be banned, 1st Amendment be damned!
by Anonymous | reply 33 | September 2, 2020 11:07 PM |
Those signs are tacky. They are all over my street for Trump, but that’s because they are tacky people with no self awareness. I never put up a political sign, my parents never did, in my opinion normal people really don’t.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | September 2, 2020 11:08 PM |
[quote] Because I live in another country.
That didn't stop people in other country's to have an Obama Bumper Sticker
by Anonymous | reply 35 | September 2, 2020 11:08 PM |
R35, that was years ago. No mouth-breathing Dump supporters to scratch your car.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | September 2, 2020 11:30 PM |
If Biden gave me a sign I would put it up but so few people drive by my house, I live on a dead end it would be better at another house.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | September 3, 2020 1:46 AM |
Susan Sarandon still wears her Bernie Button
So if she could keep wearing her Bernie Button, what can't you put on a Biden/Harris Button?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | September 3, 2020 1:48 AM |
Because I never post signs. I don’t see the point, to be honest. Who’s going to make up (or change) their mind based on a sign in my yard? I always vote, usually as early as possible during early voting.

No need in my neighborhood, my county is one of the bluest in a blue state. I send money regularly to the presidential, senatorial, and congressional campaigns and I have a vote Biden sign on my fridge.
I only knew one trumpnut and banished him from my life. Everyone else I know disdains and scoffs at repukes except with the cheating and violence, things are getting scary.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | September 3, 2020 1:53 AM |
Smell you 41
by Anonymous | reply 42 | September 3, 2020 1:56 AM |
Sweet, huh?
by Anonymous | reply 43 | September 3, 2020 1:56 AM |
The NYTimes needs to do an article about people who are Biden supporters, but refuse to put up signs, hence creating the impression that everyone in the neighborhood is a Dump supporter.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | September 3, 2020 3:16 PM |
I donated and ordered a bumper sticker. I’ ll probably put it in my window instead of my car though.
