Just rewatched FEATHER BOY (2004). His acting is at the same level there as it is now, tics and all, meaning he has not technically or artistically advanced a lick from the age of 13 to 30. Wonder whether his blessed looks and his hustle have made him creatively lazy, or he just has no real ability?

That said, I really enjoy him in the role and think he was well-cast in the project (he plays a cowardly, two-faced, chavvy playground bully). Though when I first watched the show as a kid I remember thinking he was a tomboy/soft-butch little 12-year old girl, due to the long lob with ponytail and the soft high-pitched voice and the perfectly smooth pretty feminine face.

I highly recommend seeing it if you haven’t; it’s a moving, deep, well-written childrens’ drama of the mystical type they sadly don’t really produce or air anymore in the U.K.. Aaron has quite a large role to play in it, even though he’s the antagonist and not the focus of the story. If nothing else watch for Sheila Hancock, she’s sublime.
