When she was a teen model she came to Australian Fashion Week. I was doing work-experience as an events planner and everyone said Ivanka was very nice. She hung with the other teens and had no airs and graces.

From a purely aesthetic sense as it relates to beauty/ modeling, Ivanka would be quite uniquely beautiful if she had a chin. The other thing wrong with her face and how odd it looks is her awful nose job. It’s whittled down too small in proportion to her facial features. What she should have gone for under the knife was a chin implant instead and kept her original nose. Her original nose actually worked with her wide-set eyes and her height. The smaller nose belongs on a face with delicate features and more petite and small-boned woman, not a 6-foot Brunhilda.

Editorially scary aside, the photo in R1 actually shows a symmetric, oval-shaped face with photogenic, wide-set eyes and uniquely beautiful, full lips (in width but not length). But like I say the only thing that’s off is the lack of a chin to balance out the face.

Any intelligence, reasonable thinking and self-awareness which may have once been there is long gone now R2.

I actually don’t find pre-surgery Ivanka to be ugly aside from undersized chin for her face. In fact she had that society girl-model face that’s not cookie cutter beautiful but has a bit of photogenic quality to it. Sort of like a Sophie Dahl, models who weren’t really stunningly gorgeous but had interesting faces. Stella Tennant was another society girl who became successful for her unique look.

R26 - I hate get but disagree. Had she not had that dour look and taken better care of her teeth and eschewed the implants she had the bone structure and regular features of a supermodel. She needed professional agency guidance but at that height and build and with her chiseled features, which she neglected in favor of a cheaper look, she had potential. This is the reason Vairst Laidee is insufferable but easier on the eyes than other Rebupe women. Compare pre-facial surgery Ivanka to surgeried-up Ivanka, and you can tell she had a subtle chin implant. It makes a big difference in balancing out her face, except it made it more obvious that her nose is woefully small for her face.

You can see in her before and after surgery photos on the linked site that her receding chin made it impossible for her to be photographed well from the side. But she had some nice frontal shots.

I read an article about Ivanka's modeling career years ago--long before her father was President--and an agent interviewed for the article said that if it weren't for her father's name, Ivanka would have been a third-tier model living in Miami and hustling to get catalog work. That description always stuck with me.
