As a sixty-two-year-old female (who, as per DL rules, looks twenty-five) let me school some of you youngsters about age-ravaged arms. Let this be a call to ("flabby" ) arms! While I'm no Madonna fan, I feel I must defend her right to bare arms (okay, enough arm puns). When a woman enters her sixties, no matter how great of shape she's in, the arms begin to go. Crepey skin, age spots, etc. all take their toll. I imagine black women fare better in this regard but women of pallor, like myself and Madonna, struggle when sleeveless. That's why many mee-maws opt for three-quarter or long sleeves. Unfortunately, aged arms, be they beefy or bony, are not exactly attractive. I can testify because I have a pair!
