Revisiting The Behind The Scenes Drama Of Desperate Housewives

Why was Teri Hatcher such a cunt? Her character was clearly a Mary Sue, so why did she think she was the STAH? What drove this ego? Also, was Felicity really as nice as this article makes her out to be? Who else was feuding behind the scenes of Wisteria Lane, besides Nicolette and Marc Cherry?

I understand it had a large following in its time, but I must be the only one who not only didn't watch it, but couldn't care less about it now.

They’re talking about Snatcher. She was a pain in the ass. The only one that hated Nicolette was Marc Cherry

by Anonymousreply 2August 17, 2020 3:41 AM

Hatcher was toxic, angry, and mental and caused endless problems. Everything issue lead back to her.

Apparently Teri was the source of most of the drama, sounds like she has BPD. It got so bad between Teri and the others that they had to shoot her scenes with stand-ins for the other actresses and they even moved her character out of the neighborhood for a season. She held her own wrap party for the crew, separate from the rest of the cast.

Nicolette was late all the time, sometimes several hours late while the rest of the cast and crew waited on her. She also didn't know her lines and would require several takes. She tried to organize all the leads to go on strike so they could all get paid the same amount. Whoops. She said Cherry struck her, but years later admitted she lied, that it was a light tap on the head. She hardly worked after leaving DH until she got a job on the Dynasty reboot but they fired her after 15 episodes.

Nicollette Sheridan should be on Real Housewives--Beverly Hills. She'd beat the shit out of Lisa Rinna.

It's because I grew up in a van down by the side of the river.

by Anonymousreply 6August 17, 2020 4:07 AM

Not to mention that Denise Richards’ husband is Nicollette’s ex husband, he married Denise as soon as the divorce was final.

by Anonymousreply 7August 17, 2020 4:17 AM

R7, that would be REALLY interesting. I like Densie though.

Ask Kathryn Joosten.

Why does it seem there is always huge behind the scenes drama with TV shows featuring mainly female cast? This, Sex and the City, what else?

It's a shame that this is the example being set. Can anyone name some shows with mainly female cast where they all got on and continue to get on?

I think it's more that female drama helps bring attention to the show. Whereas you just don't hear about it when guys are involved.

Sabrina, The Secret Circle, The L Word. I don't think there was drama on Mistresses or Girls either 🤔

Straight guys are simple creatures. There can be competitiveness, but not a lot of the other types of drama and passive aggressiveness that you find in female dominated places.

by Anonymousreply 12August 17, 2020 12:42 PM

Straight men don't have drama in the way that women and gay men do. If straight coworkers, especially actors, have a problem with one another they'll just beat the shit out of each other outside their trailers and then work professionally.

by Anonymousreply 13August 17, 2020 12:45 PM

Straight men don't have drama?!?!?!?!

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

This is the final proof to me that all of you are either trolls, or lifelong recluses who get their life knowledge from Hollywood movies.

I've worked in both environments and seen this for myself, plus others have backed me up over the years R14.

by Anonymousreply 15August 17, 2020 12:50 PM

R13 Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington would like a word with you.

by Anonymousreply 16August 17, 2020 12:52 PM

R15, what are "both environments" and what have you seen for yourself that others have backed up over the years?

by Anonymousreply 17August 17, 2020 1:12 PM

Nicolette was married to the husbands of two Housewives of Beverly Hills, so she absolutely needs to join the cast.

by Anonymousreply 18August 17, 2020 2:03 PM

R13 so would Damon Wayans and that hillbilly idiot who got fired from Lethal Weapon the series.

by Anonymousreply 19August 17, 2020 3:42 PM

Basic show with a few basic bitches who thought they were bigger stars than they actually were. Felicity was the best actor among them and Eva was the bombshell. The others were their backup dancers.
