Sarah Haines to return to The View

I get that Whoopi does The View to keep her foot in the industry and to pay for the lifestyle of a movie star when acting roles have all but dried up, fine.

But Joy Behar? She must do it out of boredom.

R1 She only has like, this season or this + next season left in her contract. She's ready to go. I think it's just the volatility of the panel changes once Rosie O quit again that they begged Joy with a lucrative offer she couldn't refuse.

Anyway, this is great news. Sara and Sunny are the BEST additions to the panel, honestly, ever? They are perfect for the show.

Let’s reinvent The View...except with men! Both gay and str8. No sports unless we’re talking about bulges and exposed jockstrap bands. Who would be part of that group, I wonder?

I knew it, I knew she was going to end up returning to The View. She'll balance out the panel and help bring back a more even toned perspective to the show.

Which, I believe filled the Sara (no h) Haines vacancy.

I don't think joy gives a shit anymore. She's just there for the $ at this point just like Whoopi. It's all about the $.

Joy probably wants to leave a nice nest egg for her daughter and grandson, and Whoopi wants to be able to maintain her lifestyle and like an earlier poster mentioned, a foot in the industry for access to other job opportunities in entertainment, which I don't blame her.

Whoopi seems happier doing the show from her home and more engaged with the topics of the show. Joy just looks like she doesn't give a fuck anymore and is waiting out her contract, LOL.

I think Joy loves being on the show to bash Trump. Since they've been doing it from home though she seems a little low energy. She's a comic and needs the audience. She also complains a lot about how hard the lockdown has been.

I disagree. I like the Democratic perspective brought to the discussions by Whoopi and Joy. A Bernie person would spend half their time bitching more about the Democrats who don't pass their "purity" tests than they would the Rethugs who pose far more harm.

The panel is completely biased. The fact that they have no real progressive/Democratic Socialist is sad because they are missing representation from that important side of the country.

If Sara is the midwest conseervative then there might be a progressive on the show.
