What's a good liver and onions recipe?

One that includes Worcestershire sauce. I haven't had it in years... maybe decades. My mum would make it occasionally when I was a kid and I suddenly got a craving out of nowhere. I know it's an acquired taste, but for those of you who like it... any favorite at home recipes?

None of them.

Just coat it in flour, add some pepper, and fry it.

Should involve bacon.

R3 and r4 are both correct.

Liver is full of toxins so don’t eat it that regularly but there’s something very feral and naughty and raw about eating it. I love it with onions when floured and fried in bacon fat. It’s the devil but it’s very satisfying.

Just fry them. Everything doesn't need a fancy recipe. Classics are classics for a reason.

I adore fried chicken livers. Much milder. I agree, bacon, thinly sliced onions, salt and pepper after cooked and tasted for salt from the bacon. You may not need any. I also have a great chicken liver pate recipe. My Dad and I loved liver, but not another soul ever did.

Sauteed liver is yummy, especially calf. Calf liver today is not the same thing as they were eating in the 70s, but liver from a young cow. It can't be beat simply done. Lamb's liver is very tasty slow-cooked with tomatoes and herbs like oregano, it's very comforting, and something I'd crave in winter. Pigs liver is the only commonly eaten liver I have not been able to acquire a taste for, it's very strong tasting and a little bit bitter, when they add tiny slivers of it in Asian food it overpowers everything.

First, place the calf liver in a garbage can or compost bin.

Next, order delivery.

Finally, enjoy said delivery upon receipt.

I finally got to try pate and was a little disappointed. Also, finally, got to try beef bone marrow. Little bit disappointed. Burrata cheese: disappointed. But the chicken liver pate sounds interesting and more economical than duck pate.
