I fricking love Flo. The others are meh--although I like the Zoom call ads with everybody-- but it's rare that I won't actually watch a commercial with Flo in it. When they found that actress, they hit commercial gold. I hope she's got a good agent because they should be paying her very well.

I'm surprised she's worth only $6 million - she's been in a major national ad campaign for a very long time. But, celebrity net worth estimates are notoriously inaccurate - in both directions.

I love the Progressive commercials and now all the other insurance companies are trying to compete and theirs are pretty good too. These are the only decent commercials around.

How do you even watch enough tv to know the commercials? Are you retired or spend your days in waiting rooms? I haven't seen a commercial in years. I'm not boasting, I indulge in lots of mindless crap.

One of the biggest letdowns of my whole entertainment life was finall cutting the cable because I was simply paying to be shown hours of advertising, turning Hulu in, and after ten minutes that fucking homely bitch came on being perky for Progressive. Hulu never got a dime outa me after that

Yeah - Liberty Mutual is an embarrassment. Particularly that ill-conceived Limu Emu. Is is a knock on the Geico gecko? It just doesn't work.

But I think Allstate's Mayhem works very well.

The problem with having such a distinctive ad campaign that goes on for years is - when does it end? The ad agency and the actors all keep wanting a higher payday. It becomes difficult to keep it fresh - but everyone is afraid of changing anything.

R50 I liked Allstate's Mayhem also but now it looks as though they're bringing back Dennis Haysbert. So I guess they are trying to change it up.

I quite enjoy the Progressive commercials and all the actors. I've been with State Farm for 20 years and that ain't changing, but I do enjoy the Progressive commercials cuz they're funny.

Flo bugged me when she first showed up, but she grew on me, and the commercials where she plays various family members shows she does have some comedic chops.

Have you ever heard their radio commercials. I am fairly sure the voice actress playing Flo is not the television Flo and some bargain knock-off.

As an old All My Children viewer, I did have a soft spot when they had Susan Lucci play a role.

At some point a few years ago they tried phasing Flo out (some dude on a motorcycle, and Flo appears as a bobblehead in a truck), and evidently it tested poorly, as she was back very soon after that.

They have tried pushing Jamie and Mara really hard over the years, and no doubt they would love to retire Flo, as she is making coin (there was a rumor she was making $1million a year a few years ago, so it might be more now), but people actually remember the ads (and Progressive's name), which is huge.
