Seems like every young guy is some sort of bodybuilder, or trying to become one. Are girls attracted to this look?
Why Are All of These Young Men So Muscular Today?
|by Anonymous||reply 264||05/04/2021|
Diet and exercise play a part, but that particular look is the result of roids.
Anybody who says otherwise IS FULL OF SHIT!
|by Anonymous||reply 1||08/11/2020|
Ick. It looks like that grotesque Alves Brazilian tranny.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||08/11/2020|
Gee we've never spoken about this before. *eyeroll*
Men are objectified as much as women are now so men are more aware of their appearance. Blah blah blah blah blah for the fiftieth time.
|by Anonymous||reply 3||08/11/2020|
Well who is objectifying them, R3? And why respond by embracing and conforming to this image rather than fighting it the way women do?
|by Anonymous||reply 4||08/11/2020|
I know a lot of teens who are getting steroids they are easy to get.
|by Anonymous||reply 5||08/11/2020|
R4, it's men and women who objectify men now. You'll see "straight" bros commenting on thesee people instagram accounts saying stuff like "nice lats bro" and just commenting on different aspects of their body.
|by Anonymous||reply 6||08/11/2020|
"Please comment on my totally subjective view of the world based on the social media that I look at."
|by Anonymous||reply 7||08/11/2020|
Gurl you have to be buff prostitute yourself on Onlyfans!
|by Anonymous||reply 8||08/11/2020|
[QUOTE] You'll see "straight" bros commenting on thesee people instagram accounts saying stuff like "nice lats bro" and just commenting on different aspects of their body.
So it’s peer pressure that’s driving them towards this?
|by Anonymous||reply 9||08/11/2020|
When I was lifting weights, before it was trendy, I got noticed. Some pursued me uncomfortably.
I know plenty of men who look like the OP's image who do not take steroids. Ever. Some people have a genetic code which makes them able to produce muscle quicker and with less effort in the gym. I was always jealous of the guys whose outer pecs were cut so beautifully. I tried for years and could not achieve that particular look.
|by Anonymous||reply 10||08/11/2020|
R9, yeah, a lot of times. There's a big increase in steroid usage among men.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||08/11/2020|
Most of them do claim to be natural, R10. I don’t think you need steroids to look like this.
|by Anonymous||reply 12||08/11/2020|
Plus there’s more outlets to show off your body and get positive feedback in return. Believe me guys who look like OP’s photo are 1 in a 100, it’s just that there’s so many places that they can show off their bodies. Most guys still have the same bodies of the guys that you went to high school with. Whatever decade.
|by Anonymous||reply 13||08/11/2020|
R12, a lot of the times I think they want to look good for instagram.
|by Anonymous||reply 14||08/11/2020|
Also the guy I used in OP claims to be natural.
|by Anonymous||reply 15||08/11/2020|
R15, it's possible, he looks 18 so it's much easier to build muscle when you're younger.
|by Anonymous||reply 16||08/11/2020|
They're not. People are more likely to be overweight than ever. You're just drawn to the hot ones while ignoring the fat or scrawny ones
|by Anonymous||reply 17||08/11/2020|
R12 probably eats a low-fat, high-protein diet, or he dehydrates to achieve the veiny look. This is entirely possible without adding chemicals to the mix.
|by Anonymous||reply 18||08/11/2020|
Who is in the OP's pic?
|by Anonymous||reply 19||08/11/2020|
I wouldn't mind looking better; not as roidy as OP's pic, but I'd like my pecs to jut out ever so slightly over my tummy. and have some biceps
I'd like that IN a guy; I should be able to give it back.
|by Anonymous||reply 20||08/11/2020|
OP, holy fuck, that stud is smok’n hot.
|by Anonymous||reply 21||08/11/2020|
Claims to not use steroids is not the same as actually not using them. Some of you are easily fooled.
|by Anonymous||reply 22||08/11/2020|
Social media. If they want to stand a remote chance of getting laid they have to be post worthy (sponge worthy,if you are of a certan age) . A friends daughter has the face of a gargoyle,but an admittedly smoking hot body ,and every guy she posts on her face book have been nothing less than 9-10s. Ever. I doubt she even has ugly friends,though shes ugly herself.
|by Anonymous||reply 23||08/11/2020|
R23, there's always that one ugly girl in a group of "hot" girls that everyone talks shit about lol.
|by Anonymous||reply 24||08/11/2020|
[quote]Are girls attracted to this look?
Of course we are
|by Anonymous||reply 25||08/11/2020|
Women like a muscular look but not overly so. I think gay men are more turned on my overly muscled men than straight women are.
|by Anonymous||reply 26||08/11/2020|
Is this another one of those threads in which the OP feigns great concern about muscular young men and the impact of bodybuilding on their health? In other words, another transparent excuse to post endless photos from his Instagram teenage wank bank...?
'But, but, why do they do this, do people find this attractive?' C'mon.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||08/11/2020|
[quote] When I was lifting weights, before it was trendy, I got noticed. Some pursued me uncomfortably.
Why were they so uncomfortable when they pursued you? Was their underwear riding up their cracks?
|by Anonymous||reply 28||08/11/2020|
No, most women don't like that roided-out look and it's somehow down to mental illness of those monsteroids.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||08/11/2020|
I don't like it. Because it more than likely means these boys aren't cultivating their brains just as hard. And the last thing we need are roided up idiots roaming the streets.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||08/11/2020|
I think a lot of men who try to achieve OP's body are gay.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||08/11/2020|
Can no one identify this man's name or social media?
|by Anonymous||reply 32||08/11/2020|
Google Image search doesn't work.
|by Anonymous||reply 33||08/11/2020|
If they weren't getting laid because of it they wouldn't do it.
|by Anonymous||reply 34||08/11/2020|
They will drop of heart attacks before 40.
|by Anonymous||reply 35||08/11/2020|
I mean is this really that much of a mystery? Teen guys see images of hot muscular bros all over social media. Some of them decide they like the look and want to get in the game. So, they start hanging out at the gym after school if they’re not already there for organized sports. They throw around weights and they get results. They want more. A few are genetically gifted and just keep on growing. And those who are not, start using some enhancements. These guys realize that their body is currency that gets them noticed in person and on social media. And they get laid. Yes, there are a lot of gay guys who decide that they like the look, and if they want to get muscle boys in the sack, then they need to be a muscle boy (with a few rare exceptions).
|by Anonymous||reply 36||08/11/2020|
ten years ago, I was amazed at what I could accomplish by doing cardio and eating on a portion control plan; even cheating here and there, the weight melted off -- actually, it came off gradually; 40 lbs. in 1 year three months; new clothes; self-esteem soared; the next step was weights (and more situps)
then I took some professional hits and fell back into old bad habits; lost it all; so now, how to begin anew in a covid world when metabolism isn't as great and can't do cardio as often (plantar faciitis sp?)
|by Anonymous||reply 37||08/11/2020|
[QUOTE] No, most women don't like that roided-out look and it's somehow down to mental illness of those monsteroids.
So you’re saying these guys aren’t getting girls? If women were so repulsed by, I’m pretty sure they’d stop doing it.
|by Anonymous||reply 38||08/11/2020|
These guys are narcissists. They are not interested in women. They may be interested in other guys like themselves.
|by Anonymous||reply 39||08/11/2020|
because they get better only fans?
|by Anonymous||reply 40||08/11/2020|
😂 R39 they’re horny young men, and most of them are heterosexual. Believe me, they want women. And women want them. The myth that girls don’t like guys with muscles needs to die already.
|by Anonymous||reply 41||08/11/2020|
^^^They both look deformed.
|by Anonymous||reply 42||08/11/2020|
[quote]Believe me, they want women. And women want them. The myth that girls don’t like guys with muscles needs to die already.
So then why did you ask at the beginning of the thread if girls are attracted to this look? You already had your answer.
|by Anonymous||reply 43||08/11/2020|
Why are these young men so muscular today? Because they can easily buy steroids online. Many of them will be dead of heart attacks before 40.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||08/11/2020|
Just because steroids are easily available doesn’t explain why these kids are so eager to use them.
|by Anonymous||reply 45||08/12/2020|
OP, it seems like you don't actually care to listen towhat others are saying. So why post this thraed? Troll.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||08/12/2020|
What people are saying so far doesn’t make any sense, R46. And a lot of it is contradictory.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||08/12/2020|
R45, what is your point? They ARE USING STEROIDS. End of subject.
|by Anonymous||reply 48||08/12/2020|
Why a new thread when we have huge longterm threads on this topic?
|by Anonymous||reply 49||08/12/2020|
[quote]they want to look good for instagram.
[quote]Why are these young men so muscular today?
[quote]Just because steroids are easily available doesn’t explain why these kids are so eager to use them.
They want cantilevered tits.
Oh, and OP has yet to identify this instaho.
|by Anonymous||reply 50||08/12/2020|
"Just because steroids are easily available doesn’t explain why these kids are so eager to use them."
It's quite easy to explain: despite outward appearances, deep down, these little twats are desperately insecure and just as desperately seeking the validation of others. They have the emotional development of an 11 year old.
|by Anonymous||reply 51||08/12/2020|
R51 - Bravo. I hope that shuts up OP stupid question
|by Anonymous||reply 52||08/12/2020|
Too skinny and muscular. I like muscle, but I like a guy that doesn't look like they are starving themselves.
|by Anonymous||reply 53||08/12/2020|
I've been bodybuilding for over 20 years, and I know a steroid user when I see one, (like every day at the gym). But, they are in the distinct minority there. That guy on OP's post doesn't look like he uses steroids. Attend a "natural" bodybuilding show in your area, where they take blood samples on all of the contestants. There are some amazing-looking musclemen on those stages. They pride themselves on being enhancement-free, and the audiences give them a lot of respect because these guys didn't take any shortcuts.
It's clearly the value of hard work.
|by Anonymous||reply 54||08/12/2020|
Bodybuilding--the gayest sport known to man. Yet it attractls the most homophobic men.
|by Anonymous||reply 55||08/12/2020|
"the gayest sport known to man."
Gay or straight, it's not really a sport. It's more of an exhibition of exhibitionists.
The IOC has repeatedly denied bodybuilding a place at the Olympics because (a) its seriously seedy underbelly and (b) rampant drug use. The IOC knows it could make a lot of money by including BB in the Olympics, but the risks to its already greatly tarnished reputation are far too great for even a extremely corrupt organization like the IOC to take on.
|by Anonymous||reply 56||08/12/2020|

Exactly. It’s not always perfectly clear who’s using steroids or not. Can we definitively say that this body can’t be achieved without steroids?
|by Anonymous||reply 57||08/12/2020|
If I were a straight woman, I would allow these brutish alpha beast, who are built-like-a-shit-brick-house, large and in charge, cornfed and alpha as fuck to gangbang me for my entire earthly existence! I would take on wrestling squads, rugby teams, American Football teams and whore myself out in frat houses and gyms. But only the muscliest guys would get to pump their strong seed in my cunt!
|by Anonymous||reply 58||08/13/2020|
This should be encouraged. These young men need to earn money and muscles make them more marketable. Would you rather they starve to death?
|by Anonymous||reply 59||08/13/2020|
R57, that's steroids. The lack of fat under the skin the tell-tale sign.
Also, severe starvation will do that
|by Anonymous||reply 60||08/13/2020|
How about you all shut the fuck up until you can name the guy?
|by Anonymous||reply 61||08/13/2020|
97% of the posters on this thread are obese effeminate 70 year olds who have never exercised a day in their life and haven’t talked to a young person in 40 years.
This thread is wonder, but for all the wrong reasons.
|by Anonymous||reply 62||08/13/2020|
His tits are massive
|by Anonymous||reply 63||08/13/2020|
R62 is part of the 3% of the posters on this thread who hasn't got a pot to piss in because he spends all his shop bottom wages on gym memberships, gym bunny outfits, supplements and "gear."
And he'll keel over a die of a heart attack before he's 50.
|by Anonymous||reply 64||08/13/2020|
And the unfuckable fem grandpas are TRIGGERED by my absolutely true post
Bitching about the young and the muscular will not get anyone to touch your repulsive carcass...it will only turn them off more r64
|by Anonymous||reply 65||08/13/2020|
I don’t find it attractive. Guy in OP pic looks terrible. Give me a dad bod anyway, I find average is more sexy than roided up gym bunnies, who invariably come across as self obsessed and more than a little narcissistic.
|by Anonymous||reply 66||08/13/2020|
Who's bitching, R65? We're all laughing at your complete, total stupidity and seeming cluelessness.
Also, a grown man pretending to be a 12 year old, middle school mean girl is really grasping at straws.
|by Anonymous||reply 67||08/13/2020|
The thing I find the most off putting about the guy in the OP is the eel like appearance of his skin.
|by Anonymous||reply 68||08/13/2020|
Getting fit can be done at home, with daily effort.
Getting muscular takes more dedicated effort, but its also technically possible at home.
Getting very muscular takes up your time, more facilities, and perhaps some 'help'.
None of this stuff is particularly hard for someone to plan for if they really care to.
This thread is just an excuse for OP to post guys' pics though.

Gyms are everywhere these days. Gym culture is a thing now. 99% of humans like a fit muscular bod. On a man or a woman. It's no wonder you see huge bodybuilder bods on 11th graders.
Yes, if the bod is huge it's mostly due to steroids. Steroids are the shortcut that works (unlike all the snakeoil "supplements" out there). Very few guys have that mesomorph type bod that packs on muscle in all the right places "naturally". And it usually takes years to get that kind of definition, so you used to not see it on guys younger than around 25. Now you see it on 15 year olds.
|by Anonymous||reply 72||08/13/2020|
For R61. Enjoy.

Isn't that true for almost every thread on Datalounge?
|by Anonymous||reply 75||08/13/2020|
R58 if I could erase one type of comment from the DL, it would be that.
Have you ever actually spoken to a straight woman before, and listened to her thoughts on men? With a handful of exceptions they don’t like the scenario you presented happening in real life - it’s a fantasy for many, true, but in the flesh another story.
Even the sluttiest sorority girl, who has fucked multiple jocks (some of them at the same time), still isn’t looking to be brutally gangbanged and used as a cumrag by meatheads at the gym all day every day. That’s a violent horrific plot from rape-porn.
Shocking as this sounds, female bodies and brains don’t actually respond very well to men who could - physically and mentally, taking roidrage into account - crush their head like a grape. Biologically it isn’t even advantageous no matter what Chads say, because all that working out doesn’t change the quality of genes imparted or improve the personality of the potential mate. But you knew all that.
|by Anonymous||reply 76||08/13/2020|
R76 I don't want them to 'destroy' me. I would want them to be gentle to me, caring, sweet and cute, but still a bit alpha. They will finger me to several strong squirting orgasms!
|by Anonymous||reply 77||08/13/2020|
R76 = the frauiest frau who ever fraued ! Probably never put her mouth on a dick in real life "eeewww,that So gross!"
|by Anonymous||reply 78||08/13/2020|
Straight women cunts, like r76, ruin everything with their literal minds, entitlement and their penchant for hysteria.

[QUOTE] This thread is just an excuse for OP to post guys' pics though.
Why would I need an excuse to post pics? I could make a thread posting random pics without saying a word. In fact there’s many threads like that on here, and I’m not a participant in a single one. There’s a reason for that, R69.
I post the pictures to visually contend points during discussion and exemplify my overall concern. I don’t like the way things are and I’m speaking out. If you’re fine with what’s going on and/or you’re incapable of engaging in a sensible debate, then maybe this isn’t the thread for you. The same goes for R27.

They’re doing that to impress girls or men their own age
|by Anonymous||reply 86||08/13/2020|
R86 you have a fair point. They’re probably not looking for a guy in their 30s. I wouldn’t be interested anyway. The lady friends I have do feel these type of boys aren’t hot but it might simply be the age as you pointed out. A different generation.
|by Anonymous||reply 87||08/13/2020|
Gee, is it any wonder why GermanGayGuy is a virgin....
|by Anonymous||reply 88||08/13/2020|
R88 or is he a woman? If not the whole gangbang vs gentle and tender stuff is quite unrealistic to say the least.
I do hope you get laid soon though GGG, it might help
|by Anonymous||reply 89||08/13/2020|
And why respond by embracing and conforming to this image rather than fighting it the way women do?
R4 Because men like to get laid as often as possible, and looking like this helps a lot.
|by Anonymous||reply 90||08/13/2020|
I am male! But don't you think that there can also be gentle gangbangs?
|by Anonymous||reply 91||08/13/2020|
[QUOTE] Because men like to get laid as often as possible, and looking like this helps a lot.
But we’re told that women don’t like this “roided” appearance.
|by Anonymous||reply 92||08/13/2020|
R92 I think most women wouldn't mind dipping into that at least once, then marry the more average-looking guy who won't be screwing around on them.
|by Anonymous||reply 93||08/13/2020|
That's why THIS eldergay doesn't cruise at the gym anymore. This 'look' is such a turnoff.
|by Anonymous||reply 94||08/13/2020|
Yeah, that’s the only reason r94, right
|by Anonymous||reply 95||08/13/2020|
R91 you sound like a nice guy so my honest advice or opinion: find another nice guy to have some dates and to have sex with. Nothing too extreme. Someone who understands what you need and enjoys some one on one time. Random guys at a gangbang party won’t. You can always do the latter later....
|by Anonymous||reply 96||08/13/2020|
R96 As a gay guy I would never do that anyway.
|by Anonymous||reply 97||08/13/2020|
Are you all a bunch of women ??? Or have you been so indoctrinated by the straight world you so desperately want to emulate you cant enjoy the thought of a lovely gang bang ? Germangayguy was being FUNNY and truthful at the same time. You bet your sweet straight emulating asses that Id jump under a pile of men in a nano second if I wasnt bumping 60 ! Thank god I lived when I did,you bitches exhaust me with your puritanism !
|by Anonymous||reply 98||08/13/2020|

Unless you've met a bodybuilder, you really don't know what he is thinking. I know an opera singer who bodybuilds; the exercise keeps his lungs in top form and he can endure long series of words in a single breath. He told me steroids would alter his singing abilities, so he doesn't use them. A man currently working on two patents says steroids would alter his moods and concentration; therefore he doesn't use them. Another man I know is a body part model, "hands, feet, eyes..." Taking steroids would change his skin and the amount of water he naturally carries. So, he doesn't use them.
I know these three men from working out with them for over a decade. Their bodies look dynamite. Someone may assume no results are achieved unless steroids are used. They haven't met the real people whose lives are affected by the fitness choices they make. It diminishes all of their accomplishments, physically and professionally, to say every damn one of them is on the juice.
They're not. If anyone wants to challenge this, go to a gym for a month and talk to the guys who are there. Then tell me you can flatly say all bodybuilders, no matter how their physiques look, are on steroids.
|by Anonymous||reply 102||08/13/2020|
The aging fat queens who are bitching about these guys being on steroids have not set foot in a gym for their entire life r102. You know it, I know it, they know it. The fatties are not going to have a conversation with any guy who looks like the OPs pic because they might as well be two different species. Your post is well thought out, but you are pissing into the fat envious effeminate wind.
|by Anonymous||reply 103||08/13/2020|
Obviously R103 your gym regime isnt producing the result you wanted because instead of being out on a hot date with some other gym bunny your on here pointing out other peoples supposed faults. I guess nobody ever told you that a hot body doesnt necessarily override a fuck ugly mug.
|by Anonymous||reply 104||08/13/2020|

|by Anonymous||reply 105||08/13/2020|

|by Anonymous||reply 106||08/13/2020|
You are arguing with a faceless stranger on the internet. If you think that you’ve “hit a nerve” and it comforts you from your confessed self hatred, by all means, you keep thinking that.
|by Anonymous||reply 107||08/13/2020|
Yeah - steroids are rampant for sure. The sad reality is that you only look great for just so many "cycles". They take their toll on your body. 10 years ago I had a couple buddies who were both very handsome and sexy athletes who decided to start "bodybuilding". Neither needed to change a thing and I wish that they never did. One was a closeted fuck bud and the other a straight acquaintance - both in their early 20's at that time. Did they spend more time in the gym to bulk up and sculpt? I would say marginally yes...maybe - but the primary change was that they started anabolic steroid cycles. For the first couple of years they looked noticeably sexier - lean, ripped, bulging in all the right places, guns, buns, abs and very much hotter than ever. The change was obvious and I have to say was a jaw-dropping improvement. Fast forward a few years later and neither were looking the same. Both were getting puffy, had bad skin, thicker ankles and wider hips (not in a good way) and I noticed that they were facially different - thicker necks and more jowly. They had left the Adonis level and now seemed more "fit fat" and looked a lot older. Now 10 years later - neither are very attractive at all. Both suffer from Gynecomastia which is not attractive in the least. Both have gained weight in all the wrong places and the body changes appear to permanent. The straight one stopped working out all together after he and his wife had 2 kids. He easily gained 60/70 lbs and is a far cry from the stud that he once was. That said, he seems happy and settled into being a dad. The fuck bud still lifts but looks flabby and thick (even at 6'3"). I have to assume that both guys would still be achingly handsome had they just avoided the juice to begin with - but those 2/3 years of being an Adonis must have been worth it? I won't even start on how anabolics changed their personalities; that story has been told thousands of times and doesn't bear repeating.
|by Anonymous||reply 108||08/13/2020|
My third friend has been using anabolics for 15 years and seems to have none of these side effects. He is still ripped and lean. So like every drug - it all depends on the user.

Ludicrous comment r113

American men are among the most insecure people on this planet.

People wouldn’t point to this boy and scream “Steroids!” but there are actually guys who can’t get this type of body without some anabolic assistance.

R116 Who is that guy?
|by Anonymous||reply 117||08/14/2020|
I hope you’re asking out of concern for his low self esteem, R117.

None of these guys are natural.
You will know natural when you see it.
|by Anonymous||reply 119||08/14/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 120||08/14/2020|
The term "natural" has been so bastardized, and the goal posts moved so many damn times, using the word is a damn joke, R54 and R116 not withstanding.
|by Anonymous||reply 121||08/15/2020|
Would this guy be considered natural?
|by Anonymous||reply 122||08/15/2020|
Can anybody tell me, who R116 is from? He is cute!
|by Anonymous||reply 123||08/15/2020|
This is actually a teenager.
|by Anonymous||reply 124||08/15/2020|
R124 Really? How do you know? Check his birth certificate?
|by Anonymous||reply 125||08/15/2020|
He's Andrey Skoromnyy, R125. He was well known teen bodybuilder.

For those that don’t know what these guys are doing to themselves, here is an enlightening article on Zac Efron and male body shame:
[QUOTE] Efron even knows his body isn’t the norm. In his “Hot Ones” interview, Efron stated, “That was actually a really important time to do Baywatch because I realized that when I was done with that movie, I don’t ever want to be in that good of shape again. Really. It was so hard. You’re working with almost no wiggle room, right? You’ve got things like water under your skin that you’re worrying about, making your six-pack into a four-pack. Shit like that — it’s just not — it’s just stupid.”
[QUOTE] To remain perfectly defined, Efron had to worry about everything he put in his body, down to how much water he drank each day. That routine does not create a healthy mindset, which certainly took its toll on Efron.
[QUOTE]Efron reiterates this in in Episode 4, titled “Sardinia,” when Efron and his costar, lifestyle guru Darin Olien, travel to Sardinia, Italy, to explore why so many of the region’s residents live to become centenarians. They find that one reason is because of the local diet. Locals eat far less protein than Americans and more whole, unprocessed carbs and vegetables. For example, pasta is a staple in their daily lives.
[QUOTE]Efron got emotional, seeming to nearly cry, while eating the pasta he had cooked alongside the locals. “I’m so glad I’m eating carbs again. Like, I went years without eating carbs. When I was shooting Baywatch, I didn’t have a carb for like six months. I almost lost my mind. You-you need this,” he said. Carbs are an essential part of the human diet and avoiding them completely is considered a form of disordered eating. Limiting a vital piece of the human diet is far too restrictive. The path to a healthy diet is moderation, not excessive constraints.

Well, the stupid tattoo is ridiculous, R137, but the body’s great.
|by Anonymous||reply 140||08/15/2020|
Who cares how many people find me hot, R139? Do I look like I’m in a Miss America pageant?
|by Anonymous||reply 141||08/15/2020|
So...nobody finds you hot r141
You’re just bitching about a young guy who has the discipline to get a great body. Gotcha.
|by Anonymous||reply 142||08/15/2020|
Call it bitching if you want to. I think it’s unhealthy and I’m voicing my concern on a message board. Sue me. And when these lads get a bit older, start eating more carbs and retaining more water, what happens then, R142? What happens when they’re not “hot” anymore? Will they still have you in their corner?
|by Anonymous||reply 143||08/15/2020|
R143 What is the source of this pic? He is hot!!
|by Anonymous||reply 144||08/15/2020|

|by Anonymous||reply 155||08/15/2020|
I see preteens lifting at the gym everyday. The goal is to be swole in middle school
|by Anonymous||reply 156||08/15/2020|
I’m sure that these “overly muscled” young guys are comforted by the concern of ancient anonymous trolls on a black water gay message board, like r155, for example
|by Anonymous||reply 157||08/15/2020|
R157 These muscle bros are too busy slaying pussy right now, anyway.
|by Anonymous||reply 158||08/15/2020|
The only thing most of them are slaying is a protein shake after a workout. Most of these guys are babies and can’t fuck worth anything.

I stopped working out at the age of 50, R143. I've never used steroids. I'm now sixty and I have gained weight, enough to say I have a pudgy belly and my nipples fell four inches when my chest got smaller. I don't miss the workouts anymore. If you asked me this fifteen years ago, it would seem unheard of to me.
I had my share of gorgeous men asking me out, wrestlers who expressively wanted to pin me, creeps who won't take "no" for an answer, old men at nude beaches who walked over to say hello and compliment me. I was very proud of my body, especially since I was a geeky, nerdy, thick-rimmed glasses wearer in school. I enjoyed the looks on their faces when I walked into my 25th high school reunion.
I had my fun. I enjoyed the attention. But I realize I have a more challenging path in life. I will never look that way again, and it's OK.
I do have to share that when regular gym members got married, we never saw them at the gym again. Babies were born. Their careers were more serious. Their priorities change. So, don't give these guys a hard time. Ten years from now, they will probably be pudgy and their bodies will start to slip downward, just like all the rest of us.
My biggest regret, a Playgirl photographer once asked me to pose for him. I said "No!" I wish I could see those pictures now.....
|by Anonymous||reply 163||08/15/2020|
R163 Please tell me about those brutish wrestlers! What age were you when they wanted to pin you? How old were they?
|by Anonymous||reply 164||08/16/2020|
R163, I was in my 30s. Most of the guys were farm boys. "Wanna'r Wrassel?" I never took them up on it. One guy followed me out the door and then he suddenly appeared aside me in his car. "I see you'n a singlet, big cock an' thick pubes I want to pull on." I turned around and went back into the bar, ready to call the police if necessary. Luckily I never saw him again.
|by Anonymous||reply 165||08/16/2020|
There are plenty of ripped married men in their 50s and 60s at my gym. Just because they are older and married doesn’t mean they don’t wanna be buff
|by Anonymous||reply 166||08/16/2020|
The older ones are few and far in between these days. The gyms are crowded with these teenagers now.
|by Anonymous||reply 167||08/16/2020|
Who is the bro at R167?
|by Anonymous||reply 168||08/17/2020|
I’d like to know who he is, too. On the inside. I’d like to know what compels him to devote so much of his life to throwing weights around sweating in a gym and depriving himself of carbs. Is his life seriously any better than it would be if he wasn’t “shredded”?
|by Anonymous||reply 169||08/18/2020|
R169, are you from another planet? Another time?
|by Anonymous||reply 170||08/18/2020|
Definitely another time r170
R169 is either trolling or in the grip of senile dementia

Genetics play a huge part but men, in general, are in their sexual prime in their late teens - meaning the highest levels of Testosterone. So they can pack on muscle.
|by Anonymous||reply 172||08/18/2020|
They might be able to pack on muscle quickest in their late teens, but men are most muscular in mid to late 20s. If you lift regularly and continuously from teens, you Can get bigger each year throughout your 20s.
|by Anonymous||reply 173||08/18/2020|
I am a college prof and most young men do not look like that. The men who do look like that put themselves on social media looking like that.
It is true a lot more young men do body building. But thank god not all young men have body dysmorphia and take steroids.
|by Anonymous||reply 174||08/18/2020|

|by Anonymous||reply 177||08/18/2020|
|by Anonymous||reply 178||08/19/2020|
my nephew is like that - is his obsessed with being ripped. He works out constantly and watches what he eats, preps his meals for the week on sunday and works out twice a day. He is 15. I had a talk with my sister about him - I wanted her to get him checked for body dysmorphia but she said all the kids are doing it and brushed it off. I am expecting his only fans page in 3...2...
|by Anonymous||reply 179||08/19/2020|
I was always fit but built big muscle mass from about 38 and stayed that way for about 10 years or so. I was never ripped like these guys - didn’t want to be - but had a flat stomach, big muscle ass, lots of power, a really good physique. I used to really enjoy going to the gym.
But what happens is like what R163 says, something happens. Marriage, kids, business travel, etc. In my case, I had serious health issues at around 49 and lost about 70% of my mobility. For about 2.5 years, all I did was remedial exercise and rehabilitation. I fought my way back from there and I still exercise but nothing like programmes I used to work. I’ve had some success occasionally to work a programme for about 7 - 10 weeks, stringing together some sessions but, y’know, stuff happens. I couldn’t afford my luxury gym anymore and it was just challenging to replicate what I’d been doing for 10 years at a budget gym.
I’m still in it though. I just turned 54, still recovering from a bad bout of COVID (I was hospitalised for a month). But I still have great form and amazingly retain about 80% of my strength. I’m not out yet, it’s worth the effort to maintain your health and fitness while you can.
But, of course, these guys won’t look like that forever. I think they stymie their growth potential by starting too soon and all those supplements do mess up their body’s natural metabolism.
|by Anonymous||reply 180||08/19/2020|
It’s difficult to be swole and ripped at same time
|by Anonymous||reply 181||08/19/2020|
R176 no not an abundance but I teach at a European STEM university :). But there is a huge general university in my city and yes more boys than ever are muscle heads, but it's hardly the majority, at all, for university boys.
|by Anonymous||reply 182||08/19/2020|
R182 You should call those muscle heads in your office!
|by Anonymous||reply 183||08/19/2020|
I think there's more use of HGH (human growth hormone). There's also a lot of use of creatine, which makes the muscles bigger but is natural. Steroids are used a lot, at least a friend of mine who's a gym rat tells me about many cases of people who use tham.
|by Anonymous||reply 184||08/19/2020|
[QUOTE] But there is a huge general university in my city and yes more boys than ever are muscle heads, but it's hardly the majority, at all, for university boys.
I don’t know about Europe but here in the US, high schools and colleges are teeming with these teen “aesthetic” bros.
|by Anonymous||reply 185||08/19/2020|
Male aesthetics is a huge thing now
|by Anonymous||reply 186||08/19/2020|
Do the girls like it? Or are the boys doing this to compete with other boys, the mirror and media culture.
|by Anonymous||reply 187||08/19/2020|
What percentage of these "aesthetic" boys monetize their looks? I suppose it could be a good source of income for college.
|by Anonymous||reply 188||08/19/2020|
[QUOTE] Do the girls like it? Or are the boys doing this to compete with other boys, the mirror and media culture.
I think are attracted to it, but whether or not they actually like the guy himself depends on his personality.
|by Anonymous||reply 189||08/19/2020|
any recent documentaries on this culture? Could it be considered a contrast to INCEL?
|by Anonymous||reply 190||08/19/2020|
Something like a new, modern day version of the old Schwarzenegger movie “Pumping Iron.” What’s interesting is that film was about grown men in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. Very few young men were trying to be bodybuilders back then, whereas a contemporary remake would be populated by teens.
|by Anonymous||reply 191||08/19/2020|
[quote]Men are objectified as much as women are now so men are more aware of their appearance. Blah blah blah blah blah for the fiftieth time.
I think men are objectified more than women now. It's considered a bad thing for men to say anything that sounds like they're objectifying women, but women (or men) objectifying men is fine, apparently.
|by Anonymous||reply 192||08/19/2020|
R187, all the above? Don’t you see all the thirsty chicks commenting on hot swole dudes on Social media?
|by Anonymous||reply 193||08/19/2020|
I knew some guys who made money in college stripping for bachelorette parties and posing for art classes. They made more money naked than I made at my part-time job wearing my clothes. One of them became a lawyer.
|by Anonymous||reply 194||08/19/2020|
I don’t think these boys are stripping at parties.
|by Anonymous||reply 195||08/19/2020|
Not at 16 or 17. Stripping at parties sounds like a 70s or 80s thing. These boys can make cash generating internet hits.
|by Anonymous||reply 196||08/19/2020|
Yeah, stripping is so 1994 and low life
|by Anonymous||reply 197||08/19/2020|
I doubt they’re making any serious money off likes and clicks. I think it’s the attention. The dopamine hits.
|by Anonymous||reply 198||08/19/2020|
A Mizzou grad told me Brad Pitt and some of his fraternity brothers would strip at sorority houses for a "birthday girl". They wore pillowcases over their heads and went full naked. The girls didn't know one of the nude men in front of them was Brad Pitt.

R203, perhaps you have different goals and values than others?
|by Anonymous||reply 204||08/20/2020|
"There’s more to life than spending 2 hours a day in the gym and watching every single thing you eat."
You forgot "spending huge amounts of money ingesting supplements and PEDs."
And don't give me that shit about "natural." What was considered natural 20 years ago is a far cry from what is considered natural today. The goal posts keep moving TOWARDS drugs, not away from them.

Well said, AIKC. The absolute truth.
|by Anonymous||reply 208||08/20/2020|
There’s no such thing as too much muscle mass when it comes to these guys. This dude probably looks in the mirror and thinks he’s scrawny. He wants to “bulk” and put on another 20 pounds.
|by Anonymous||reply 209||08/20/2020|
AIKC, were you involved in the KC walking trail serial killings? I’ve heard things...

[quote]There’s no such thing as too much muscle mass when it comes to these guys. This dude probably looks in the mirror and thinks he’s scrawny.
I worked out in the '80s and '90s. I never saw myself as anything approaching hunky or muscular, even though I gained 17 pounds of muscle over that period. Years later, I would run into people I knew back then, and they would say something along the lines of "Yeah, you were quite a hunk those days."
This always surprises me. It's not like I suddenly became any more popular. Neither Eric (definitely gay) nor Jeff (maybe gay) from the Dupont Athletic Club seemed to even notice I existed. I got more attention from Louis (definitely straight, but the best-looking guy in the gym).
I had a few boyfriends those days, but people were, I suppose, afraid to have sex. None of them became the great love of my life. Of the three guys I was that attracted to during this period, two never set foot in a gym.

Whenever you see these ridiculous bowling ball shoulders, your radar should go up.
|by Anonymous||reply 221||08/20/2020|
It was back in the late 70s and 80s that bodybuilding stopped being a weird niche thing and hit mainstream culture. That's also when going to the gym took off. When she was on Dynasty, Joan Collins gave an interview in which she was asked if she liked bodybuilders. She replied that she never dated men with breasts bigger than her own.
|by Anonymous||reply 222||08/20/2020|
R221 you know that man could develop “bowling ball” shoulders, and do it without steroids?
The misinformation on this thread, propagated by old fatties who’ve never exercised on their entire life, is hilarious and sad.

R223 is correct. I know of many dudes with boulder Shoulders who are natty. They consistently lift heavy at least five times per week. You can tell Who doesn’t lift heavy consistently by the ridiculous assertion every swole guy is juicing.

R227 Damn, fuck me, you alpha!
|by Anonymous||reply 228||08/20/2020|
Once you become buff, you become addicted to how your body looks and feels. I love how my physique looks in clothes and how people compliment me about my physique. I love how hot people pay attention to me. I love the attention from both men and women, sometimes at the very same time.
|by Anonymous||reply 229||08/20/2020|
I also love dating buff people. I love how his ripped abs feel pressed up against my back, how his hard muscles surround me, how his muscled bubble butt looks in my bed, how he flexes for me.
|by Anonymous||reply 230||08/20/2020|
That may be the most interesting insight of all, R229. I can imagine the attention one gets walking around looking like this guy, say at college or maybe after the last bell at high school when you can take your shirt off and hang out in the student parking lot. Perhaps that euphoric feeling becomes addictive.
|by Anonymous||reply 231||08/20/2020|
R229 R230 How does one feel having so many big muscles? Want to post a pic? Would you ever hate-fuck a non-muscled bottom?

R210 - hmm, snitches get stitches and become jailhouse bitches.

“Goals.” The man probably ate a Dominoes pizza and a 12 pack of cupcakes from his local supermarket right after he took that picture. Nobody looks like that without starving themselves.

Having taken it -testosterone is easy to get and you only need to inject once a week for gains. HGH is much more expensive and causes the jaw, nose and brow to grow - hgh abuse is easier to spot.
|by Anonymous||reply 246||08/21/2020|
And what about the side effects of testosterone, R246?

Now, I was hoping we were collectively clutching pearls over the spitting, the jizz spraying, and the nasty-ass beige sock wearing habits of our youth.
This is silly. Don’t engage with them, pervos.

Those teens are too muscle bound. But this guy...17...what girl or guy that age wouldn't want?
|by Anonymous||reply 255||09/27/2020|
The goal is to look like this Alpha

I really don't get it - almost all the young guys in this thread and most other threads on DL are of this skinny six-pack muscle variety. I think their stomachs look like crayfish. Give me dad bods, linebackers, beefy Max Gail, anyone other than these thin gym rats. Whenever I post guys I like, though, there's ALWAYS a "why are you posting fat guys" response.
|by Anonymous||reply 257||11/22/2020|
Can’t you make a thread for fat guys, R257?

It’s all about getting bigger. My hot gym crush is always talkin about getting gains, getting bigger

To compensate for being fucked in the ass on camera.

I think the YouTube fitness bodybuilder has made bodybuilding more popular. That and the availability of PEDs and SARMs.
|by Anonymous||reply 262||04/17/2021|
They are openly selling SARMS in stores
