I'm just speechless watching the video....what kind of country do you guys actually have?
Video shows Florida police arrest 8-year-old and try to put him in handcuffs

Is TMZ even an entertainment site anymore? They seem to post nothing except anti-police and Karen stories now.

[quote]The report says the kid cursed at the teacher and told her "my mom is going to beat your a**" before punching the teacher in the chest with his right hand.
The little shit knew what he was doing. Maybe being hauled to jail in cuffs will put the fear of God in him.

When we were younger every once in a while some cop would scare a little kid into being good by putting him/her in a cop car, reading them their rights etc with the parents fully behind it. It wasn't a big deal. The kid went home and no one got all SJW over it.

It's bloody Florida, so anything goes.

Did you grow up in Mayberry RFD?

If this were Iran, he'd be missing an arm by now.

Man, the deplorables hone right in on these theads. Shouldn't you be off in a corner somewhere drinking bleach?

I heard a banjo in the background.

R3, that isn't NEARLY the same thing as being put in handcuffs and sent to jail.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 10, 2020 11:30 PM |
R3: Yeah, the cops performed those scared straight, after school special community play scenarios for the benefit of nervous White parents and their "wigger" kids. Meanwhile, those same officers were profiling and "stopping frisking" the neighborhood Black children...for real. No lollipops for the latter group.

^^ stopping and frisking (editing my R 13, above).

If he were black he'd be dead by now.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 10, 2020 11:36 PM |
So pretend arrests of little white kids scares them on the straight and narrow, but real arrests of black kids doesn't stop them embarking on a life of crime. Yes that makes a lot of sense.

The school and PD will be sued - family gets 5 million dollars in award.

R16: Your abject stupidity is beyond description (and further discourse).

Spare the rod and spoil the child, the Good Book says.

Kid undoubtedly comes from a shitty family full of domestic violence, criminality, etc. The parents should be blamed for this child's behavior.

They fail to mention that the boy has documented mental health issues and he did assault a teacher. It's difficult to know what's best but the boy wasn't treated badly. He's not crying, screaming or fighting, he's accepting the situation. Of course we will never hear anything about what happened after this incident because people might think this was the right thing to do. And of course the parents will get a huge settlement and because it's Florida it will all be gone in 6 months and the kid will not be any better off.

OP here.
I'm not surprised at the levels of violence in the USA when I read the comments here.
