OK wow, I read it. It's really sad and scary. I feel bad for Dr. Will. Boogie wouldn't have won All-Stars had Will not insisted he be included on the season to begin with, and this is the way he pays Will back. No good deed goes unpunished. Boogie sounds mentally ill, bitter, and irretrievably deep in his addiction. How sad.

R1 They were approached to do Amazing Race a couple of years ago, apparently Dr. Will said no and that sent Mike B. off the deep end since they were wanted as a team. Then he appeared to threaten Dr. Will's family with gun violence by sending e-mails with pictures of a gun pointed at pictures of Doc Will's child & wife. He was arrested for that and released. Fast forward to the super detailed request for a restraining order/order of protection for every member of Dr. Will's immediate family.

HOLY SHIT.

The thing is, look at the dates. They were asked to do The Amazing Race in 2017/2018. Boogie wanted to do it, Will didn’t. Boogie told Producers they are both in anyway, so they contacted Will and Will said no he doesn’t wanna do it. They told Boogie that Will said no, and he got mad and began sending Will alarming texts and wouldn’t stop calling him. Will put Boogies number on ignore, hoping it would just calm down. It did for a while, but then fast forward to August, 2019.

In August, 2019, months later, Boogie now began to send Will emails since he wouldn’t answer the texts and phone calls (Boogie didn’t know he was blocked) and now grew more angry and aggressive, now threatening Will and his family and sending him videos and photos holding a gun, and holding a gun pointed at a picture of his daughter and wife, with a caption that implied he was wanting to shoot up his daughters school. He also began texting and emailing Will’s brother, Ian, threatening his family as well and telling him his plans of killing Will and his family, and then he began texting Will’s Mother-In-Law who is in her 80s.

Will ran to the Police immediately, with his lawyer, so they can get a restraining order but because this al took place late on a Friday he was told they can not begin the restraining order process until Monday morning (isn’t that crazy?) and he would have to wait until then to do much of anything. Will and his lawyer also contacted the FBI and got them involved, as they feared he wanted to shoot up a school.

The next morning Boogie contacted Ian, Will’s brother and sent him more alarming emails and texts, as well as Wills closed friend who lives in Texas. When Will woke up to screenshots of those messages, he ran straight to the Police again to show them this. Ian and Will’s friend in TX also contacted the Police at this point.

Will spent the entire weekend sleeping in one room with his family, sleeping on the floor with bats and golf clubs around, behind a barricaded door, just in case Boogie did try to harm them. Will barely slept the entire time (as most wouldn’t I am sure). He also spoke to 4 other lawyers besides his own to see if they could help him rush the restraining order process as well as get a permanent order vs a temporary one. They couldn’t.

That Monday, Will was contacted that the restraining order had been done (by his lawyer) and Mike was in their custody. They told Will he can keep up with it al on their website. Will monitored the website but didn’t see Mike in their system, causing him to worry. Around midnight he called someone at the Precinct about how Mike is not in their system online and was worried, they told him it takes hours before someone is updated into the system. A little while later he was called to be notified they updated him into their system and he was still in their custody, so Will could finally get some sleep for the night (he wasn’t sleeping for days).

It’s all a big mess.

I heard Mike was arrested again a few months ago for breaking the restraining order and contacting Will. He’s seriously a piece of shit.

The actual emails are included and they’re seriously so immature and bizarre. Idk wtf is wrong with Boogie. What a loser.

It sure sounds that way. Those texts and emails are basically saying “I won’t be ignored.” Funniest to me was boogie saying he got Will his career. How did he reason that in his delusional mind? Will has good looks and charisma. Boogie had neither.

If you watched the Live Feeds that season, every fucking day consisted of Boogie telling Will a plan, Will shutting that shut down ASAP and telling him why it’s a bad idea, then laying out his plan, Boogie following it and it working.

I despised Mike Boogie. Will was amusing, because he appeared to genuinely not give a shit whether or not he won the show, which was a refreshing contrast to all the other reality show competitors before and since, who are always SO desperate and thirsty to win. But Boogie was just an asshole with a hideously ugly face.

Boogie initially parlayed his BB fame into huge success as a restaurant owner. For a brief moment, his Geisha House was the epicenter of the then-burgeoning reality TV craze. Reality stars went there to hang out with other reality stars, and fans went to gawk and gape at their favorites. But the moment passed, and it eventually all went to shit. Too many failed restaurants, problems and legal conflicts with his business partners, and I believe he pretty much wound up broke AF...which is why he was so desperate to do the Amazing Race. But, unlike Boogie, Dr. Will actually has a life: a wife and family, and a successful career, and couldn't be bothered...which sent Boogie over the edge and deep into crazytown.

Mike's rants and emails show addiction / mental illness heavily at play. They aren't coherent thoughts, not rationale, and are completely all over the place. There is no clear desired outcome and they come at random times and are directed at various people he doesn't even know. The original source of his anger / frustration may be real (disappointment, feeling let down,and panic over losing much needed income when Will refused to do AR) but these are drug or delusion fueled rants. He does need a lot of help if he is ever going to live a normalish life.
