You can’t keep it out of nursing homes. The first person in my county who was diagnosed with covid was married to a person who worked in a local nursing home. The second person to get covid was the spouse & 6 people in the nursing home died. You can’t keep workers out of nursing homes. They’re low paid workers, they’re understaffed, they’re taking care of too many people, they’re lied to & cheated by the owners & they’re not very well educated. The best & brightest don’t work in nursing homes & they don’t have housekeepers at home washing & disinfecting everything. They work 12 hour shifts, so they’re going to be either spreading disease for 1/2 the day or exposing themselves for half the day. Or both. Nursing homes are consistently short on supplies when there isn’t a pandemic.

You cant hold them liable any more than you can hold hospitals liable.

Anyone who directly caused the death of people in nursing homes from covid-19, like Gov. Cuomo did, should be imprisoned. No immunity. He should be tried for murder.

But that’s ridiculous. You can’t prove anyone in a nursing home didn’t catch covid from the nursing home staff or from visitors who brought it in before the shutdown.

I'm not saying that this didn't happen, but do you have a link to a reliable source that describes Cuomo causing nursing home deaths? I've only seen it online as a conspiracy theory.

I’m a nurse state agency surveyor for hospitals and you sure AF should hold them accountable - they’re not following proper infection control policies !!!
